I was pleased with the work and his prices were comparable. He was timely and the job went very quickly. He was personable and communicated well with me. It was a very good experience for me. I would definitely use him again if I needed to.

I was pleased with Ray from the start, the estimate was explained and discussed so I felt confident when I argeed to have them do the work. The work was completed in a very timely fashion. Ray was able to be here for the complete time and his crew were professional in behavior and friendly. The aera was cleaned up very well except for seeing the work was done you would not have known they were there because the area was so well cleaned up. Oh,and the eves were even clean - I checked.

Ray and his crew is VERY good. They did everything as promised and more! A great group to work with! I will be using them again in the near future.

ndI contacted Yellow Jacket Construction asking for a bid on repairing a section of roof on my parents' home that was sagging. Mr. Raymond Smith came out that same day and quickly assessed the problem, I asked him if he could give me a "ballpark" estimate just so I would have some idea of how much it was going to cost. He very willingly obliged me, and then before taking his leave, my father asked him if he would do him the favor of going down in the basement and hooking up a sump pump battery for him. Mr. Smith didn't even hesitate a moment before he was trotting down the basement steps to do my dad's bidding. I was very impressed by his willingness to help and his kindness toward my elderly father. He didn't know at that point if he had the roofing job or not, but I don't think that was his motivation. He seemed to be just a very genuine caring individual. .Mr. Smith provided us with a written estimate of the work to be done on which he listed in detail the materials needed and the procedures his workers would be following. That was on Friday, May 18th. We called him later that afternoon to let him know that we accepted his bid, and on Monday mid-morning, he and his crew showed up with all necessary materials and went right to work. By late afternoon, they were finished and they had cleaned up and carted away all the debris. You would have never known that roofers had been there except that the roof looked great! I was very impressed with Yellow Jacket Construction as represented by Mr. Smith and would gladly use the company again for any future work that may be required on my parents' home. It was great to have the repair done so quickly and competently!

Raymond Smith, owner of Yellow Jacket Construction, was my knight in shining armor. Winter in Wisconsin, and I discover that my shingles have died (had died a long time ago, in fact), the flashing around the chimney had been incorrectly installed, leading to a leak that had rotted ut 50% of the decking, and the ridge vent had been left open to the world by the previous roofer. And winter was coming. It was 34 degrees, and the temp was expected to drop. He managed to get shingles practically overnight, got his crew in on a Sunday to make best use of a break in the weather, and I had a new roof in 5 days from the time I first placed the service call until his magic flashing crafter put the final touches on a custom fitted chimney collar. New shingles. Replaced water damaged decking. New ridge vent (properly capped this time!). Fixed a vent cover that was incorrectly installed. Relaid the de-icer heating wires. Cleaned out the gutter and left nary a nail. And wonder of wonders....remounted our satellite dish so well the technician barely had to touch it to enable the upper channels to work. And his pricing was absolutely competitive with every other bid I received. Did I mention my highly protective 130 pound dog loved him from the first second they met? Anyone my Sherman Tank thinks is ok gets very high marks in my book! ;-) I would recommend Yellow Jacket Construction for any project Ray says he can handle.

The work-crew did the work very efficiently. I was informed of the condition of the roof during the process, and I was very pleased with the finished work and clean-up. Nice job! I would recommend this company to others.

Our condo manager prepared the contract with Yellow Jacket, ascertained the appropriate insurance was in place, and delineated all services expected. There were no complaints.
