Valley Pest Control

Terrible customer service. Lazy technician that did not attempt a phone call upon arriving late. Candi (representative in office was defensive and impolite on telephone call. She read an invoice describing services performed. This invoice was not received. Only a standard blank invoice for $130 was received. When requested the detailed invoice via email (verified email address twice), was never received. A second mailed invoice within two weeks of first received with a threat of collection within 30 days of alleged service date. Requested Candi have owner call me. Number given twice. No call or voicemail received. I would not recommend this poorly operated company.

This is a case of not knowing good service until you get good service. We hired Valley Pest Control (VPC) to handle a significant and continual wasp/bee problem in the summer of 2012. I had attempted to kill the wasps myself but the problem was only getting worse. We could not enjoy our swimming pool or patios without several types of wasps swarming all around us, most had virtually taken over living in our eaves and the roof overhangs of several porches. We called Valley Pest Control and to their benefit, they came right out. We thought they did an okay job at the time, yet always felt the issue was still too big for anyone to handle, because the wasps never totally disappeared and the population surged again within a few weeks. At the time, we did give Valley Pest Control the benefit of doubt for a job that ended up being about 50% done last year ... However, our opinion has drastically changed because this year we called a different service; MB Integrated Pest Control, based on a friend's (and neighbor's) reference. MB Integrated Pest control walked onto our property the very day we called him. He quickly and professionally found all of the hives and locations in which the wasps were gravitating, many we didn't know existed or couldn't pinpoint exact area (Note, Valley Pest Control actually wanted US to tell them exactly where the hives were (we didn't know!! that's why we called professionals!!) and the guy they sent also refused to go up ladders or handle any roof infestations, because, as the man said, and quot;our insurance doesn't cover that type of workand quot;). Meanwhile, this year's service, MB Integrated Pest Control charged a bit more to handle the problem however he also did MUCH more (he actually did the full job of locating and annihilating ALL of our wasps) and corrected our problem within an hour. I can assure you, 24 + hours later, the wasps are GONE and we are SOOO happy. Furthermore, MB Integrated Pest Control guaranteed the work ... no bees for 60 days or he will come back - for free. VPC sorry we moved on to the pros.

They are very good. We have been using them for years. We have used them for about ten years. I give them high recommendations. They have excellent service technicians. They always come when there is a problem. They do quality work. They are reliable and dependable. They are very reasonable.

They were very good to me and spray wherever I asked them to. They also sprayed where they thought they needed to and I had very good results. They do things like knocking down hornet nests after they spray which I appreciate so I will use them again in the future.

I was satisfied with them. They did what I needed to have done. Overall, they were very good.

Very smooth...operator was very friendly as well as the technican they sent out. Great from start to finish

We called valley pest control because they had a good rating on here. The technician came out and inspected all over the house except the 4 foot tall crawl space (i have a feeling he didn't feel like climbing in there) He told us a couple of things we needed to do to keep out rodents (we called because of mice) He said be baited (put poison out) the house. I asked if that was a good cure since it seemed as though animals would then die in our house. He stated that it was the most affective way to cure the problem, and that usually the animals will leave looking for water, because the product dehydrates them. It has been 3 weeks and although we have not seen any mice our house smells like a dead animal. I guess overall it seemed expensive for them to not do the crawl space and to not have another option that wouldn't leave our house stinking.

I called for an inspection and they were availble to do it the same day, so that was a nice surprise. Person was on time and professional and showed me various points where there could be a problem. Spent about an hour with the inspection and I thought the cost at $80. was a little high, I was expecting in the $50 range. Otherwise there were no problems.

Professional and friendly, no problems. They got rid of mice that infested my house.
