They cleaned up the area each day, were respectful of the neighbors property and did an excellent job. They definitely exceeded my expectations on every level. Even the neighbors complimented the professionalism and wonderful job they did.
Description of Work: Mike and his team provided a more suitable landscape plan for my property that included lower maintenance plants and retaining walls. They then executed all planned work, including clearing the land, lining the pond with granite cobblers, constructed retaining walls, handled all plantings, and seeding of the lawn.

 + 1 moreThe snow removal is a big one here in WI. They are always punctual and make sure the snow is removed before my wife leaves for work. I would give them an A for their services! I would like them to let us know the prices of the work before sending the bill.

 + -1 moreLast year, we decided to re-do our landscaping in the front yard. We had yews htat were overgrown & had many brown spots from a harsh winter .We took-out the yews & a dying 'burning bush' .Along with that, we had grey shale stone that was horrible to deal with. that was also taken out . In went cedar mulch & many great perennials. Mike came in personally to discuss the changes we wanted with the plan. HE DELIVERED! everything was done to perfection.. I WOULD USE THIS SEVICE AGAIN IN A HEART BEAT.
Description of Work: They were very polite & asked frequently for my opinion on things. They were incredibly flexible when we asked for several changes to the plan.

 + -1 moreI recently purchased a new home, and the backyard brick patio had settled with a negative slope towards the house's base, causing problems for rainwater collecting near the foundation. Furthermore the brick was uneven and had sunken several inches since the foundation was laid. Landscape Solutions were very professional and came over to my house and discussed possible solutions and gave me an estimate. A few weeks afterwards they completed the entire job in 3 work-days with a team of about 4 people working 8 hours a day. My brick-patio area now looks much better than it did before, and they added on enough room to my brick-patio that I have room for a hot tub now as well! Overall I'm very satisfied with the quality of the finished work.
Description of Work: Pulled up my backyard's patio bricks, leveled the ground, relayed the bricks, and added on an extra bricked-patio area.

 + 1 moreWas for my 78 year old mother in Menasha, WI. 2013-14 was very harsh winter and her Yew shrubs died that were front & center of her house. She was thrilled w/ the outcome of the new Yews and mulching. I think the landscaper that came out to preview the job was Joe. Forgive me if I am wrong about that. They had a wonderful conversation where my mother learned much about her roses and other flowers that they spoke about from her wish list. Joe even went above and beyond and dug up a dead rose for her and gave her a bag of rose fertilizer. She was extremely impressed w/ him. Michael Kirsch Landscaping is her go-to company for landscaping from now on. Thanks to Joe & Sarah for all their patience with Mama and their knowledge and professionalism. Great folks, great company! I will be looking them up when I retire up there myself!

They've also done some summer landscaping for me, filling in some spots and putting in some seed and things like that. They always do a very good job. They're prompt, reliable and do a good job. Their prices are probably a little high. I could probably find somebody cheaper, but I don't, because they do such a good job.

 + 3 moreI am completely pleased with the job that was done on my landscape. These workers, Gary especially, were very professional and worked quickly, cleanly and got the numerous jobs done without any inconvenience to me. I was very impressed that the owner, Mike Kirsch, came out to inspect each aspect of the job during the entire duration to make sure I was pleased and had any other comments or requests. He came out at least 1/2 dozen times to inspect my yards. The detail work this company showed was fantastic. I would highly recommend this company for any landscaping needs and I myself will call them back again without a doubt. In fact, I am planning to have them come back in the Fall and fertilize my landscape to prepare for the winter months. In a year or so, I will call them back to install new patio blocks in the walkway around my garage.
Description of Work: My backyard was just weeds among a few blades of grass. It is a rather large backyard and I wanted it to be usable for my grandkids to toss a ball, etc. Landscape Solutions came out to give me an estimate, and listened to what I wanted the finished product to look like. They sprayed strong weed killer on my backyard area and waited 2 weeks for it to take effect. Then they came and backhoed the entire area of weeds and took two truck loads of the weeds away. They came back that same day and regraded the landscape, which was really needed. It was bumpy before and hard to use my mower due to the small hills, pot holes,etc. They then came a few days later and spread fertilizer and grass seed, topping it all off with rolls of straw to keep in the moisture and protect it. They will come back to pick up the 7 rolls of straw once the grass is a little taller. It is starting to come up very nicely. They also sprayed weed killer over the top of my side and front lawn, and filled topsoil and grass seed in numerous patches of bare spots (due to having my well dug deeper and having our street widened two years ago). All of these areas are also coming in with baby grass now. They spread loose straw over these spots. They ground out two tree stumps from the back yard and eliminated the small garden area that I didn't want any more (including removal of the railroad ties surrounding the garden and the large rocks that were around the garden; then regraded it. It looked great when they got done! I also had a large rock imbeded in my grass near the patio that hindered my grass cutting efforts, and they came with a crowbar and removed this large imbeded rock, filled the spot with top soil and grass seed. They brought extra topsoil and, as I requested, put it in my raised garden area on the side of the garage, hand shoveling it around all of my plants! .

I was getting a little frustrated since I was having a big party the next weekend so I e-mailed him and he e-mailed back and said that the weather was not appropriate for them. I realized that. But they were there the day after. They did everything that I had asked. He said that he would come back and do the clean up. I had to pay half ahead. The guys that were there were great. They knocked on my door two or three times and asked me to come out and check things out and if I wanted more done. They worked hard when they were there. I was happy with that. But they have not finished with it.
Description of Work: I received an estimate from Landscape Solutions by Michael Kirsch LLC. to put a back garden in, with a retaining wall block, took out the bushes in the front which were ugly and put in some low maintenance plants.

 + -1 moreI had been wanting a patio area behind my home, rather than just the sidewalk, so I searched for months to find "just the right" stone I wanted. As soon as I did, I called Mike Kiersch who came over to help me lay out the area I wanted done and make suggestions (some things I hadn't thought of!) which I used. When the patio area was almost done, I felt I needed a little more area - which was no problem for Mike. He stopped over to help me measure what I felt I still needed, so I could order the additional stone. As soon as that was in, his craftsmen did the work......and the finished patio is absolutely pefect. I would definitely recommend Landscape Solutions as the only "solution" to anyone's landscaping needs!! This company has great "people skills" and take pride in their work, which is always "above and beyond."
