+ -1 moreDid a terrific job! Went beyond my request, which was great, and added the event name to each DVD. Very prompt, polite, reasonable.
Description of Work: Took 3 lengthy video tapes and put them on one DVD disk. Made 20 copies of it.

+ -1 moreShawn had been referred to me by a neighbor who said, "This guy can do anything!" When I emailed Shawn he replied very promptly. We then spoke by telephone. Shawn was very polite and was very clear in communications around topics I know little about. He came to my home to pick up the work when he said he would. He completed the work promptly; and I was very very pleased with the product. He delivered it to my home, along with his bill for the work. I sent him a check. I am now having him do additional computer related work, as I was very happy to find this "gem"!
Description of Work: Shawn took three video tapes of about 45 minutes each which I had made of an event, and put them onto a single DVD disk. I believe it takes considerable skill to put this much material onto one DVD disk. Shawn then made 20 copies of the disk. He printed (without my asking, which was great!) the name of the event filmed on the outside of each disk. He then delivered the product to my home in Madison.

If you have computer needs, no matter how big or small, he will help you. The above projects went extremely well. Shawn is dependable, intelligent, efficient, congenial, fair-minded, good at what he does, and fairly priced. Shawn is always available for telephone consultation, and will come to your house and fix things if you can't do it by phone. Please note that while Shawn can install and fix computers and software, his most creative work is in the design and creation of websites. Description of Work: The above cost estimate is for a variety of projects which Shawn has done for us. These are just some of the things he has done: Selected an appropriate, updated computer, monitor and printer, brought them to the house, and installed all of them. Selected all appropriate up-to-date software, installed it and trained us to use it. Converted our internet system from the (impossibly slow) dial-up to DSL, and installed wi-fi so that we can use our computers anywhere in the house. Transferred our huge email data base from one system into another, so we have everything we had stored and are able to use it on a system that is faster and easier to use. Created, installed and trained us to use a customized, sophisticated address book for our personal and professional use. Identified and expunged a particularly nasty and wide-spread virus from the hard-drive of a much-used computer. Selected and installed an appropriate anti-virus program.
