We have an in-house design specialist for cabinets, countertops, etc. as well as color coordination of products.
Our orders are pre-paid before product can ship or production started.
We have financing options available.
Our contractor chose Brand Floors for our cabinets because they said we could get cherry cabinets for a lower price than their other vendor. The process was difficult from the start because Kevin (I don't remember his last name, but he is the owner) is a good salesman but was not good at listening to our needs or concerns. At one point, when we expressed concern about the time it was taking to get the samples and design layout, he said that because we weren't in "the industry" we couldn't possibly understand how it works and that time wouldn't be an issue. He became increasingly condescending and dismissive, and we eventually asked our builder to communicate with him instead of us having to do it. When it came time to install the cabinets, they weren't ready. Our move-in date was pushed back three times because the cabinets weren't in. They'd make appointments to install them but be a no-show. After more than three weeks of this, the cabinets arrived and were installed. However, they did not follow the nomenclature we and Kevin had signed. We had drawers instead of cabinets in two places places, we were missing three sets of roll-out drawers, our spice rack wasn't included, the shelves were falling, the doors were falling off, and one cabinet was a different size. When we complained, Kevin was quick to send the cabinet guy out to fix the problems, which was great. However, some problems weren't fixable. The resized cabinet and the two places we had drawers instead of cabinets couldn't be changed. When I mentioned that, Kevin repeatedly pointed out that they had apparently supplied us with extra cabinets for the laundry room at no charge. I stated "So we are just supposed to eat your mistakes because you gave us an extra cabinet?" He replied that he meant nothing by his comment and then said, "Don't p*** off the new mommy!" to me, as I'd just given birth about a week before. I found his comment sexist, condescending, and completely inappropriate. I was disgusted that he would say something like that to a customer and then assume we were too dumb to notice the complete lack of professionalism. At the conclusion of this discussion, he thanked us for our patience and said he would send us a Visa gift card for a few hundred dollars to offset the differences from the nomenclature, but we have received nothing. I waited to write this review to see if he would follow through on his promise, but after nine months, I think it's a safe bet that our gift card is not on its way. Our cabinets look beautiful, and the little issues aren't visible, but the complete lack of responsibility and follow through make it impossible for me to recommend this company to anyone.
