+ -1 moreTom and his crew were very efficient and professional. He painted a small sample to make sure that I liked the color before proceeding. It was a bit purple and not blue, so I changed my mind. He was patient and gave me some time to find a new shade of blue. He's a personable guy and so is his crew. Prices are reasonable and they finished our entire house within a week. I would absolutely recommend them to friends.

Description of Work: Hired to sand and stain a small deck and porch and touch up house trim as needed. The deck and porch look good but the trim around windows was only "touched up" around the bottom half of the windows. I didn't look closely at the house trim until after the painters left.When I called Tom he stated "that's what your son said you wanted". I asked "really, my son told you to paint only the bottom half of the window trim? Really?" He would not return to finish the job because "that's what I wanted" and he was sorry I wasn't satisfied. His contract read ten hours of painting on the house trim. We certainly didn't receive 10 hours of trim painting. I'm sorry I didn't look at things closely before he left. Another lesson for senior citizens....don't be timid about inspecting a contractor's work closely. Buyer beware. This contractor deserves an F rating.

+ -1 moreTom and he colleague Jimmy arrived on time and immediately got going on the job. They painted the bedroom walls and ceiling, upon completion they cleaned up the woodwork. We also asked Tom for a quote on painting the exterior of our house later in the year, he had a lot of good ideas which other painters who we have gotten quotes from had not suggested. Hopefully the end result will be a better paint job which will last longer.
Description of Work: Tom at Pro Coatings was recommended to me by a co-worker for both interior and exterior painting. When my husband I had realized we could not paint the 12 foot ceiling in our bedroom I called Tom for a quote. He was very responsive and came out for a quote - he was ready to paint a couple days later.
