I don’t know what to compare the price to. They response well. If I have a call or question, they have a good record keeping system, so they can keep track of what they’ve done and when. They just do their job that they’re supped to do, which isn’t completely common these days.

I would have them do it again. They helped me out with the best option and did the work on time.

We contacted three companies to compare prices and Pat's Heating really helped us understand what the best option that would work for us. the office help was very friendly and the installers were fantastic. We are happy that we choose Pat's Heating and feel very confident on the work that they did.

Everything was good. Scheduling was fine.

Justin came to our house to look at our current setup and then gave us a good explanation of our replacement options and how the new HVAC equipment differed from our existing 1970s era equipment. The proposal we received detailed the options and pricing as well as the available Focus on Energy rebates available. We also asked them to price WiFi thermostats and we now have our first items for a and quot;Smart Homeand quot;. The thermostats will give us some peace of mind when we are traveling since we will be able to remotely monitor whether our heat is still on in the frigid WI winters. All communication with the company was very prompt, professional and friendly. Several employees told us what equipment they had chosen for themselves and why they had done so. They were also very accommodating when we had to delay the work by one week due to other work being done at our house. When the installation guys arrived they immediately presented me with a very nice and quot;thank you for your businessand quot; cheese gift box. What a pleasant surprise! They had me fill out the necessary paperwork so they could file it for the Focus on Energy rebate and then got down to business. They carefully removed our two old furnaces and got the new ones downstairs without damaging anything along the way. Our old A/C unit was also replaced. The guys were very personable and professional and did a great job of explaining the equipment after the installation was complete. They also did a very good job of cleaning up the work area. The work took two days. I waited to file a review until we had a chance to actually use our new HVAC equipment. I can report that both the A/C and heat are working quite well and we are very satisfied. It was a pleasure to work with a company that had such responsive, friendly and competent personnel!

They did a great job. We received several bids and went with Pat's because of the service we received from Justin. He spent a lot of time explaining our options and helping us understand the best solution for our house. We also worked with Shaun for a thermostat upgrade and he too was great to work with. We felt the customer service provided by Pat's was great and we are pleased with the product.

They serviced our furnace and told us that the air exchanger was bad. They gave us a detailed quote with 3 options: replace heat exchanger, replace furnace, replace furnace with an upgraded model. Because we were just a couple of days from selling our home, we let the new buyer choose the option. The new buyer chose to replace the furnace with an upgraded model. Pat's went out of their way to accomodate our tight schedule with selling our home. On the morning that the service was scheduled, they arrived early. They were extremely polite and professional. They even put down a carpet runner to protect the floor. They kept us updated as they were doing the work. And through converstations with them, we learned that most of the employees had been with Pat's for long periods of time - like 25 years! And as an added bonus, they gave us a gift from a local specialty store. I would highly recommend Pat's. They even deducted what we spent to service the furnace on their intial visit because they ended up replacing it. Well Done!

They were very accommodating because when we've called them, we called them late in the afternoon like 3:00 or 3:30, and he was planning coming on the next day and they had the guys come. They told us that there is other guy, and quot;He is going to get over there right nowand quot;. Even though we still have heat, they sent him over right down and that guy said he was out his way to do other job, but they had him turn around and do ours first. He came right away.

They did a good job. I think they are honest, reasonable, and professional. I would use them again.

I have used Pat's Heating and Air conditioning over 15 years. They have done yearly maintenance on my furnace and AC. In the spring 2013 my 23 year furnace and 12 year AC needed replacing. In addition I needed to cool an area of the house the AC was not able to reach. Shawn took all my concerns and considerations into account for the project. The total package took two days. There was deconstruction of the old systems and new ones to be installed. The technicians were professional and friendly. I am very pleased with the entire project especially the mini split AC that now cools my office.

Based on a service call for a failed part, we decided to replace our 16-year old furnace. We obtained quotes from several local HVAC contractors, and Pat's Heating provided the best, most comprehensive quote with several options, at the lowest prices. When we decided to buy, the process was extremely easy. We set up an installation date/time, and the installation crew was exactly on time. They worked efficiently and were done in less than a half-day. When they left, the area in the basement was so clean you never would have known they were there that day. We've used Pat's before, and based on this experience we continue to recommend them for anyone in the Lake Country or adjoining areas that needs a competent and reliable HVAC company.

The service was fine I have used them for a number of years and have always been satisfied.

Pat's Heating did an outstanding job when we recently replaced our aging Central A/C system. Our old system breathed its final breath after 17 years (also installed by Pat's Heating), from quoting to scheduling to installation i was treated like a customer should be, not just another job. They actually cared and made sure I was satisfied throughout the entire process. Very pleased with our new system and the quality service I received.

Two of the four dampers in our home HVAC zone system were sticking causing areas of the house to be much cooler than desired. Made an appointment for a tech to come out, and he was right on time. He did some troubleshooting and offered two options for addressing the problem. He explained both options in detail and didn't apply pressure to do one versus the other. He did provide a recommendation based on personal experience. One was much less expensive than the other, but had a potential downside as it only dealt with the two dampers and would not update the 20+ year old controls. He was able to make a complete system replacement (4 new dampers, completely new digital controls and one new thermostat) economically attractive, so we went with that option to assure long-term reliability The parts were ordered and an install appointment made. He was exactly on time and did the work in a very reasonable time. He cleaned up the work area very well. I'll use these folks again if I have any HVAC needs.

We were very pleased with the overall job and will continue to use their services.

I think getting all the details from the technican whne them come through and being 100% available to watch what they are doing is the helpful part. I had work going on -- so couldn't ask all the questions before they left and had to call them a second time. That's my only beef with them -- Wish I got the whole picture, instead of needing to learn everything about the heater/cooling setup. .Mainly I may have to pay $100 for a crash course on heating. Old furnace began to die on coldest day of year so far (-5 deg F). Called for service and they managed to come out the same day. BEWARE: Cost for service was $115 just to arrive at the door, then charged another $100 to run one simple pressure test and tell me the secondary heat exchanger was bad. Recommended furnace replacement. Would not even consider the warranted replacement of the heat exchanger, due to age of unit. Wrote me a quote for a new furnace. At this point I was a bit put off and felt that Doug (the service tech and estimator) was leveraging the bad situation as a way to sell a new unit at a much higher cost than just that of repair. He would not budge on the price, but did agree to absorb the $215 service cost if we bought new equipment from them. Fortunately, I have a good relationship with another company I had used in the past at our old house, but they do not service in the area of our present house. I was able to check the facts of what I had been told about the old furnace and check the pricing I had been given on the new furnace install. Both checked out OK but the price was still a bit high. I only regret that the situation did not allow time to secure multiple proposals, as I would normally do. Pat's sent a crew the very next day and installed a Carrier Infinity ICS (95% efficient) system with the Infinity controller. This involved removing the old system, adapting the duct-work to the new system, installing a new filter box and replacement of the "vertical" portion of the return air duct. The main installer (Justin) was very knowledgeable, personable, willing to explain the whole install process as they went and function of the new system. The installers worked quickly, the work was done neatly and they cleaned up the area very well at the end of the job. When I paid the bill at Pat's office the next day, I was sad to learn they did not offer an Angie's List discount / coupon and they would not take off anything for paying cash instead of credit card. Too bad for them. I was willing to split difference and allow us both to save a few $$. I used the credit card and they'll have to pay the 4% to VISA. Not very smart on their part. We are also considering an AC replacement and installation of a whole house humidifier. I will give Pat's a shot, but with time on my side, I will see what others quote also. Other than the "dollars and cents" part of the whole affair, working with Pat's was a good experience.

We have used them for a while and everything goes well. They are very friendly and courteous. I feel that their prices are fair and competitive. They always tell us the price upfront.

This is my first report to Angie's List. I was just so impressed with the professionalism and the attention to true "service" from start to finish that I felt I had to write something. The guy showed up right on time, was pleasant and funny and had a very positive, can-do attitude. He was good around my dogs who initially did their barking like mad routine. He worked at a good pace and along the way showed me what he had discovered, what it meant, how much it might cost, etc. But unlike so many HVAC folks, he just wasn't out to sell me a new furnace. You could tell he was interested solving my problem. Period. The bill seemed reasonable, especially considering the top-notch professionalism and overall good experience associated with it. It is comforting to know that I now have a professional and fair company to deal with when it comes to heating (and A/C I suppose, too). Just terrific.

There was certainly nothing negative. They were very prompt, and arrived on time for appointment. They were pleasant and willing to explain what they were doing.

The service technicians arrived about an hour late due to a delay in completing the previous job, but they called to say they would be late. My furnace was a mess and operating very inefficiently due to poor storage and installation by a previous contractor. Pat's technicians were very courteous, made all necessary repairs and showed me the problems as they did the work. I was very satisfied with the work and the price. I would definitely recommend this firm and will use them again.

I fired up my furnace with the recent cold snap, only to discover it would immediately shut off. I called Pat's on a Friday morning and to my delighted surprise, they were able to come out that afternoon. The tech was very professional and cleaned out the problem. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again without hesitation.
