JIM MCCALLUM

I'm updating my "Happiness" report five years later because Jim has proven to be an outstanding real estate agent once again. We recently thought we might have to put our house up for sale because a new freeway was being planned right next to our subdivision. Most agents probably would have accepted the new business, but Jim gave us his honest opinion that the market is not good right now for selling and that the freeway proposal would probably be eliminated anyway after the public hearings. He was absolutely right, so we are still in our beautiful house with our incredible conservancy views. This is what I said in my previous report in 2006 (it doesn't show up anymore on Angie's List, so I'll repeat it here): Jim is an absolute gem. I was very discriminating about the house that I wanted to buy and literally led him on a wild goose chase for over two years. Through it all, he was very patient with me and kept trying to find something that fit my parameters. He spent so much time with me that I'm sure his commissions didn't even cover it, but he was always professional, courteous and friendly. In fact, my husband and I now consider him a friend. He is very honest and many times steered me away from a home that he knew wouldn't be right for us or might have problems in the future. He really cares about his clients and prefers to do everything the right way, rather than make a quick buck. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who wants a quality agent who is not at all pushy.
