+ -1 moreSent email listing projects that I needed completed. Responded in timely manner to the email. We set up a day and time for him to come over so that he could see the projects and provide an estimate. The day and time came and went and he never appeared or even called. It is one thing to never to respond to a request for an estimate but it is another, and I find it irresponsible and unprofessional, to make an appointment and not call or show. I work evenings so that I can watch our youngest child during the day. I typically am not in bed before 12 or 1a and then am up before 7a to get the kids off to school as my wife leaves for work. My only other chance to get some sleep is during the day after getting the youngest down for a nap. The day Ganos was supposed to show I laid down to rest, setting my alarm clock for 15 minutes prior to his arrival. I woke and stayed up only to find that he didn't call or show up. I was home the whole time until I went to work at which time my wife gets back home. There were no missed calls or voice messages on my phone and no emails sent. To me this is a good indication of what you could possibly expect further from a business and therefore have no interest in doing business with them.

+ -1 moreMike was very timely in coming to look at the area and give me a quote. He is friendly, professional and very helpful in deciding on design and color. He started the job and completed it in the time he promised - in fact was done a little earlier than he promised. He was very reassuring throughout the process and patient with my repetitive questions and my changing my mind about the color stain I wanted several times. He has a good vision of the final product and suggested a few changes to my ideas that turned out very well. I have had many compliments on the patio since it was finished. I would recommend Ganos and would use them again.
Description of Work: Mike poured a patio for me in an area where I had previously had a deck. The area had to be graded, a layer of rock was poured and then the cement. It was then stained, stamped and sealed.

+ -1 moreThe process went very well. Again, Mike completed the job in the time frame he promised. I am very pleased with the outcome and have received many compliments on the patio. I truly appreciate Mike's input on the design.
Description of Work: I replaced a deck with a patio. Mike was prompt in coming out to look at what I wanted and give me an estimate. I was not sure about the layout but knew I wanted texture and stain. He showed me some pictures of his work and I saw a texture I liked. Once we agreed on the price and I had given him the 10%, I went to his shop to look at some samples of poured concrete with the texture and color. He also gave me some paint chips of sample colors. When he came to mark up the area, he was very good at giving me suggestions as to the design. I really appreciate his input because I had a hard time visualizing this change after having the deck for 20 years. The night before he was going to begin the job, he came with another sample of poured, textured and stained concrete and we decided on that color. The deck had already been torn out when but Mike had to prepare the ground for the deck. There is a large oak tree right next to the area where the patio went, so Mike was very careful to design the patio so it did not interfere with the roots of the tree. He was also very careful when digging up the area around the tree. On the first day, he dug up the area and laid the rebar. The next day he came and poured, stained and stamped the design. The following week he sealed the area. He actually stared the job earlier than he had originally anticipated and it was complete in the time frame he promised.

+ -1 moreThe deck began to chip in one quadrant of the deck, so I called the company to have repairs made. They promised to return, but after numberous calls they still haven't come back to do the work. I can only imagine that further repairs will be needed as the years progress.
Description of Work: They poured a new concrete pool deck.

+ -1 moreINITIAL CONTACT WAS VERY POSITIVE AND PROFESSIONAL. THE COMPANY CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. UPON COMPLETION OF THE JOB WE HAVE FOUND THEM TO BE UNRESPONSIVE IN FIXING A PROBLEM, THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF MONTHS AGO.
Description of Work: A 12X18 AREA WAS INSTALLED WITH A STAMPED CONCRETE FINISH. THE PATIO IS A FIELD STONE FINISH WITH COBBLESTONE ACCENTS.
