They squeezed us in to a busy schedule and after another company was a no-show. I appreciated that, and the honest, transparent estimate process. Dan was on time, quick, friendly and helpful both times he came to the house, first to create an estimate and do the work.

The doors were top quality and the installation and workmanship excellent. Dan gave me suggestions how to better a structurally sound patio door and extend its life. Friendly, easy to communicate with, took care of ordering, the delivery, the quick installation and cleaned up when finished. Would use and suggest the company with door and window projects which is what he specializes in and the doors were what I needed. I go out for estimates if I don't have a clue. I thought his pricing was competitive and fair for the service I got.

Dan was great! I was concerned about some windows that I had installed by another contractor. Dan took the time to closely inspect each window and the workmanship of the installation. Not only did he do a comprehensive inspection, he took the time to walk me through what he was looking at, and why it was important. Dan was also very clear about the results of his inspection and provided me with some direction on what to do next. Going forward, anything like this that needs to be done on my home, Dan will be the guy!

Dan did a great job repairing some interior doors and one entryway door. Susan did a great job with communication before and after the project.

The 1st time I had Dan give me a quote to get my window replaced I knew he was a honest man. Instead of telling me I needed all of my windows replaced he looked at each window individually with me and explained to me that I only needed certain parts replaced and even showed me what I could do to myself to save money. This saved me about a third of the price from the other quotes I had received from other window replacement companies who told me I needed to replace the whole window. Dan does great work, very professional and is always prompt with his scheduled times. Would highly recommend! at a much lowers cost. He even showed me what I could do myself to save money. Since that quote, I have used him for other projects. He does great work and is always prompt with his scheduled times.

Dan of Dane's Quality Craftsmanship is a very thorough and meticulous carpenter who does quality work. He also is very understanding of lay people's questions and explains everything thoroughly. He and Susan are very good with communicating at every step of the process as well. I was thoroughly satisfied!

My home, built in 1936, has its charm and its challenges, and it was a bit of a challenge to find someone willing to take on the project; however, Dan did and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. His workmanship is excellent. I chose a relatively expensive front door, which Dan painstakingly and expertly fit it to the opening. Originally, he thought I would have to purchase a custom storm door for the space, but he created a solution to fit a standard storm door into the frame, saving me hundreds of dollars. Dan takes great pride in his work and is a skillful craftsman. The result is a project completed with perfection. Communication with Dan and Susan was excellent. Both are consummate professionals, knowledgeable and friendly. Dan will be returning for future projects and I look forward to more stunning results.

It went very well. Dan came out and reviewed the job. He sent a written proposal, detailing expected cost and additional costs if additional work beyond what could be seen on the surface was required. He initially said it could be two or three months until he could get to it as he took customers on a first come, first served basis and was booked through the end of the year. However, he elected to work some weekends and got us in much sooner than expected. Price was a little high, but, 1) it was exactly as quoted, so, no surprise, and, 2) given that we could not even get other contractors to look at the job we absolutely did not care. We would hire Dane Quality Craftsmanship/Dan again in a heartbeat.

Excellent! Finished ahead of schedule and it was within the quoted price. I used Dane’s before. He is my go to guy! Excellent service, straight forward, and reasonable pricing. I never have to worry about the problem when I know Dane is working it!

FABULOUS!!!! Contacted lat late week, came out to see the project w/i 2 days, had the work done 4 days later. Perfect!!! I am going to make a list of things to be done and reach out to Susan and Dan again. Highly recommended.

Project done well and on time. Dan found some water damage in one area, and repaired what he could, with follow up occurring soon. Very personable. Prompt professional communication.

Replacement went off without any issues. Was concerned initially with how big the glass in the window was that replacing wouldn't be easy. But Dane's assured us it wouldn't be a problem and they were not wrong! When it came time to take out the old window and put in the new, they had a team available to make sure everything went smoothly. They are a great team to work with and I won't hesitate to call them again for any future projects.

Dan and his wife were very responsive both with email and phone in order to repair our windows. The job was completed in timely, professional manner. Would definitely recommend for small and large projects, especially if carpenter skills needed.
