They were good and they were really professional. In the installation there was a miscalculation in the measurement and they had to do some sawing on site that made a really big mess but overall I say the value is good. We got a very fair deal overall and the edging was unique. We had an edging that was the Demi-edge and not many contractors will do that. They did an overall good job in the installation. The seams were really small and almost invisible but it also was due to the fact that my husband had everything very leveled when they came in. I was all very leveled and well done. It all worked out. There was a little hassle in the end with the mess. They couldn't clean it all up because when you're sawing granite in the house it goes everywhere. It was their error, they didn't make big enough pull for the countertop so it was kind of frustrating. We had a miscommunication on the bill which they right away rectified. They were weird on the pricing and all that issue. He gave us a price and then tried to increase the price. They were respectful and good in a lot of ways. I would probably check with them for a smaller job and just get a definite price upfront. I would use them again.

Wisconsin Granite Depot did an excellent job. They were fast and helpful during the measurement and installation process. They have variety of stone selection. The installer was very professional and polite. They worked fast and clean. I especially thank to Gina to help me to choose a perfect stone. We are thrilled with the quality of the work and definitely recommend them to everybody.

It was the best decision ever to pick Wisconsin Granite Depot for remodeling my kitchen and bathrooms. The company has a variety of granite, tile and marble selection already available in stock. They were extremely fast, tidy and helpful during the measurement and installation process. First class stone selection, first class service. Pricing was also reasonable. Thanks for the beautiful kitchen and bathroom Wisconsin Granite Depot. I would suggest the company with no doubt.

From picking the right granite color, getting to place the templates on the granite, to installation of the finished product, we had only the best experience with your installers. They were polite, knowledgeable, and very strong. Watching them install our granite in place made me grateful for their skills.The installer was very knowledgeable and professional.It was done in a timely manner and everybody showed up as promised within the time frames we were told. From the customer representative at Granite Depot store to the product selection at the granite business to the installers - everything went as it should have. Granted the product is not cheap, but well worth it as soon as you walk into my kitchen.

Most of the interaction went well. There was a seam that looked AWFUL. The owner came out and he insisted that it was within industry standards and he couldn't care less that I found it unacceptable. He said that they had a product that they could use to darken it. They came out to darken it and the product was used used motor oil, and they used a blow torch to make the seam match better. I know that is what it was because first of all, I saw it in the bag of the (very nice man) that was doing it, and that used motor oil is in fact what it was. I make him pack up and go. I called other graite places and they were appauled that this was done. When I contacted the company they said it was perfectly acceptable. Since the I have tried to contact them because there is a chip on the edge as well as on the top of the island causing a rough opening. They are not returning my call.

We visited their showroom which is the largest and nicest in Milwaukee area. We went to many different granite suppliers and fabricators slab showroom but none of them was impressive as much as Wisconsin Granite Depot. They had over 2500 slabs, huge selection of tiles, sinks and faucets. The MOST interesting part was digital layout on the slab. we were able to see our SEAM location, variation and matching. They had latest CNC machines which were very impressive. We were informed about every step of the project. Our sales person was well educated and very helpful. Their installers were AWESOME. They were very professional, polite and perfectionist. They installed my 137 Sq foot countertops within five hours. We are thrilled with the quality of the work and definitely recommend them everybody.

Biggest plus with WGD seemed to us that they have all the full slabs on display which helps immensely in picking color vs. doing so off 3 or 4 inch squares at other suppliers. Their prices also seem very competitive and fair, at least for the material and overall labor. The biggest disappointment (and reason we wouldn't recommend them) was the overall service and coordination experience. Every communication and appointment after signing the contract was last minute or outside the promised timeframe. And, they either seem to assume all customers have experience and knowledge replacing countertops or don't feel the obligation to educate them. We spent a fair amt of time and effort doing internet research, prep and cleanup, trim painting, caulking after the install and still are very disappointed that the new countertop was installed with so many shims that it lacks structural integrity to last and we're worried it might crack unless we do some additional reinforcement work, which is pretty hard after the install. Would suggest to WGD to at least provide some form of instructional tip sheet to customers going forward that helps make the customer experience easier. Also, the standard WGD process of having 2 weeks between the demo and the install was.... different we're told from how other suppliers operate and not sure if WGD's method is worth the double appts and 2 different sets of workers as well as the inconvenience of not having a sink for the interim unless customer rigs up their own temp solution as we did.

My experience with Wisconsin Granite Depot was spectacular. I looked everywhere in southern Milwaukee for a company that would demolish, fabricate and install custom granite and cabinets in my home but I couldn't find anyone who provided all three services until I stumbled upon Wisconsin Granite Depot. The designers provided me creative insight that really helped bring my kitchen to life. I want to personally thank Paul and his team for such a wonderful service!

When we first visit the store we met Wendy. This is the biggest store in Milwaukee. They have largest collection of stones. Wendy gave us a tour and helped us pick a color. We requested her for expedited delivery. She told us she can try for the expedited installation. She was able to accommodate in a quicker schedule. They took the measurement on Wednesday and installed the countertop on Monday. Very quick. The person who did the measurement is very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us removed some of the leftover wood from the old counter. He did a great job. The installation crew did a awesome job of putting together. as a whole we have very beautiful counter. I like that they are local and their prices were inline with other granite companies that I check with. I can't really tell how the finished product looks because it is not dry yet from the sealer they apply to it. I may consider using them again in the future if needed.

We liked them very much. We liked everything about them. We liked their showroom. They were very thorough and knowledgeable in presenting the granite to us and telling us what we needed to do. The measurements were done very well and the installation was like butter. Everything was good about them. We've recommended them to our friends, also.

This was a very bad experience. The total time without a sink or water in the kitchen was 6 weeks. I felt the primary problem was with office coordination. I needed to call several times. I wanted my old sink which was thrown away and was told there was no phone number to reach the person in charge of disposal of the sink. The original estimate did not include extra width recommended by installer, nor did he know I would need to pay another tile person to remove and reinstall some tiles. They needed to return to reinstall the sink which separated from the counter. The individuals doing each job were very courteous and professional. I do feel it was a fair price for the granite but the frustrations were not worth it. I did send a satisfaction survey with my thoughts but received no reply.

Besides all the great reviews and 6 months of research prior to our decision, it was a perk that Wisconsin Granite Depot was both a distributer of granite AND a fabricator - all in ONE! They have a beautiful selection of slabs in the showroom. Sue helped with many details of our kitchen selection, pointing out things we were not aware of. Very timely with setting up appointments to have existing cabinets templated. Jake who templated was knowledgeable and effective. We were able to decide, with help of staff, of the layout of the slab. Turn around time of fabricating and installation was shorter than expected and all went as smooth. Installers were very professional and high level of skills. We were most worried about the seams with having lots of movement in our choice of granite, (Typhoon Bordeaux). These worries were all un-necessary, as we do have 2 seams, but are almost invisible! They matched the back splash with each section of the countertop as well. We are 100% satisfied with Wisconsin Granite Depot - from start to finish!

I took a chance on Wisconsin Granite Depot and I have absolutely no regrets.Their stone is very competitively price and their service is great.I talked with Sue who was knowledgeable,friendly and responsive. Ours was a large installation and very tricky in very respects.On the day of the installation,their crew showed up on time,made sure they cleaned as they worked and left their work areas cleaner than when they arrived and did a fantastic job. We could not have afforded our dream kitchen without Wisconsin Granite Depot. I highly recommend them.

All of our questions and concerns were answered concerning the quality of materials, workmanship,the attention to detail that would be given to our project, and the professionalism of the employees. We were involved with every aspect of this renovation and we could not have chosen a finer company to entrust our home to. The relationship with Wisconsin Granite started off pretty good. We went into their showroom to ask questions and look at their selection. The salesperson was very helpful and walked us around their warehouse to look at their slabs. At that point, we decided to sign a contract because the granite was quality and the price was reasonable compared to other estimates. The only negative thing I have to say about my experience with the salesperson is that she didn?t seem to remember things we discussed or ever write things down, which caused a lot of confusion. There were phone calls and emails asking questions that she had already asked, or me having to call them to clarify something because what was written on the contract wasn?t what we had discussed. The removal of the countertops went fairly well, although I did have to assist them several times because they couldn?t get the drawers out themselves. A nail was acting as a stopper on some of the drawers, but they couldn?t figure how to get it out. I figured out how to get it out and I don?t do this type of work every day. The experience got much worse on the day the installers came. My appointment was scheduled for 3 pm on a Friday. The installers were an hour and a half late. They didn?t contact me to tell me they were running behind; I had to call the company to ask where they were at. To make things worse, the hour and a half put them far enough behind that it coincided with me putting my 6 month old to sleep at 6 pm. It was very difficult because of the noise. I know people may think it?s my fault for having my daughter there in the first place, but my wife had to work late that day and I had no other options at that point. To note, if they wouldn?t have been late, this wouldn?t have been a problem because the install only took 2 hours, so they would have been done at 5 if they would have arrived on time. As I mentioned, this was a Friday appointment and they didn?t get there until 4:30 pm, and it was obvious that these installers wanted to get through the install as quick as possible so they could start their weekend. They rushed through the job and the quality of work showed it. There were scratches, chips, and glue residue all over the place. In addition, the bathroom backsplash was too short, so they told me they would have to come back the next day. They left around 6:30 pm, and when I went outside to check if they had cleaned up, which I do with any installer I hire, I found granite chunks all over the place. The next morning, I again had to call their office to see when they would be arriving; they did not call me. When the same installer finally arrived, I had him fix the scratches, chips and glue residue. I also had him recaulk some of the areas. The installer stated he had brought a new piece for the bathroom backsplash as well. It wasn?t until AFTER he already had installed it, that he told me that he had to put a seam in the backsplash because they didn?t have a piece long enough in the warehouse. He said that he couldn?t use a whole slab to cut the correct size piece, so he just used two remnants in the warehouse. I was so fed up at this point that I didn?t bother arguing about this; I just wanted the job done. When he was leaving, I did express my concerns to him about their punctuality and cleanup. He apologized about being late the day before and said that it was because he was having difficulty with some granite for another customer. This is straight from his mouth, not mine. He said that the owner schedules as many installs as possible in a day, which doesn?t leave them much room for error. As a businessman myself, I can understand some of this, but I can also say that this doesn?t make for very happy customers. Sometimes quantity isn?t better than quality. As for the cleanup, he said that it was pretty dark outside. That is just a horrible excuse and inexcusable. There are things called work lamps or flashlights. It just shows a complete lack of professionalism. For those reasons, I would not recommend or hire this company again.

At each stage of the process, we found the company to be very easy to deal with and responsive to questions we had along the way. The tear-out, templating, and installation were handled professionally and flawlessly. We were very pleased with the product as well. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience. We would most definitely use them again, and we highly recommend this company.

The measuring is done by constructing a template and the granite is cut using the template. This is not the most state of the art method, but the final result was excellent. Be prepared to visit their showroom to select the granite that you want. Measuring and building the wood template takes a couple of hours. The granite was ready for installation a couple of weeks later with about 4-5 hours needed for the installation and clean up.

I probably chose to use them because of the quality of their granite and the recommendation of a friend.

The first person didn't speak really good English. Every time I turned around they were raining the price. I had a contract and they kept adding to it. They came in and did it and it's done. They did a very good job and their prices were good. Their responsiveness was really good. I would use their services again in the future.

Impressed with the selection of colors/styles/patterns across different price ranges. Helpful sales associate. Company threw in sink and faucet at no cost upon purchase. Seamless installation completed in once morning, workers cleaned up after themselves. Higly recommended over big box retailer, as ths company allows you to view the entire granite slab thta will be installed, rather than just a notebook-sized sample. Would most certainly use again.

They came for measurements and to create a template. We selected the granite by visiting their warehouse, which I highly recommend since the pattern and color varies from stone to stone. We had some scheduling challenges for the installation primarily due to the coordination of the plumber, my work schedule and their schedule. However, once the job was scheduled, (note that you are not the first appointment in the day, they installers may get delayed and arrive later than scheduled), and once the installers arrived, they did a super job installing the countertops and sink even though our job took longer than anticipated. The workers were extremely professional and patient and continued the job until it was completed, even though it made for a long work day for them. I would definitely use them again, simply because they actually did what they said they would do, the quality of the workmanship was excellent, and the price was extremely competitive. Would recommend them to others

The only complaint is the installer came in and didn’t take off his shoes in our bathroom upstairs and messed up the paint that we had painted. They brought the mismatched sinks they were off just a shade, they did not have a second one, but they were really good about coming back and putting in another one, and it did not cost us anything for them doing that. I would definitely work with them again.
