Wasco Windows

It went very good. They are a very good company to deal with. They are not real high pitch when you go to deal with them. I checked into a couple of other places and they really pushed the product. Wasco installed the windows very efficiently and quickly. Their price was really good too. I was real happy with what we got.

They are a locally based company and all of their employees seem to take a great deal of pride in the work that they do. They did a good job and cleaned up well when they were finished. They took away all of the old windows so that you couldn't even tell they had been there. I plan on having them back out soon to do some more replacement windows for me.

They came out, gave an estimate and completed the work in short order.

On time, quality product, first class. They were very good, I was impressed. The crew was tremendous. They put all these windows in just 6 hours. Probably will be using again.

6 windows were replaced at my condo.

The estimator, Jay, was courteous and informative. He answered all my questions and did not pressure me in any way. I brought my own measurements to the showroom and Jay wrote his quote. After thinking about it for several days, I called Jay to commit. He came to my house in early January to take exact measurements. I signed the contract and put money down. Jay told me the job would be scheduled around 3-1-07. I had concerns about caulking in sub-freezing temps, but I was able to talk to the expediter, Rick. He told me about the 2 brands of caulks they use. He explained they are commercial grade, can be applied down to 30 below, and form a chemical bond with the vinyl. I was able to research on the Web and verify. Dave (installer) came on 2-20, earlier than the estimated date. Dave did the entire job in about five hours. He was courteous and cleaned up very well. He hauled away my old windows and storms. Dave's craftmanship was superb. He is an artist with the caulk gun.

They were on time and professional. They did very good work.

I found them most responsive and cost effective for the same product. I compared four different other companies and they came out to be the best.

After calling for an appointment, I was scheduled for the next day! It was great. No pressure, no up-selling. He just wanted to know what I wanted.

The representative who came to the house, Jay Thresher, was very nice, very knowledgeable, and did not try a hard sell at all. Very low-key, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, we had two 18-inch wide casement windows that would lose 4" of glass with the vinyl replacement window. Jay said they would not be able to do a full replacement of the window in vinyl to keep the amount of glass approximately the same, unlike the Renewal by Andersen guy and Pella guy, who said they could. We ultimately ended up going with Pella replacements, because we wanted wood interior windows, but would have gone with Wasco if we went vinyl. THe vinyl price was about 40% cheaper than Pella.

They are excellent. I am so happy. There prices are great because they are the manufacturer and installer.

Dave & John were very prompt (10 minutes early!). They were obviously professionals, not just summer interns. They didn't mind me asking questions and were very courteous. They cleaned-up the work area very well, even bringing their own garbage cans. Dave even added a small piece of wood trim that was missing when I purchased the house.

Sales rep John was helpful & not pushy. Once order was placed, measuring & installation went smoothly. Appears to be a quality product, & they look & work nice too. Thinking of replacing more of my windows with them.

We were very pleased with the work. They took care to match the exterior paint trim color and worked quickly, completing the installation in one day. The workers were on time and courteous. The new windows provided immediate relief from the cold air drafts that we experienced with our old windows.

Wonderful. Love my new windows, especially the new bay in the living room and the awning window in the kitchen. They came out with samples and the work was completed quickly.

They did a great job, and have had no problems. Changing the window in was no problem in winter. They did all from the inside of the house winter. The price was very good.

Very professional and knowledgeable on their products. John was very helpful in helping us choose styles, colors, etc., to match our home. Didn't mind our many follow up questions and was able to resolve them to our satisfaction. Great windows at reasonable price that met our needs exactly. They have a no pressure sales approach that we enjoyed because they were willing to show us options and styles but still adhere to our budget. We were able to replace all of the windows in our home at once as well as improve the curb appeal by adding a bay window in the front.

THEY DELIVERED THEIR MERCHANDISE WHEN PROMISED, AND INSTALLED THE WINDOWS IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY WERE VERY CLEAN AND COURTEOUS. THE SALESPERSON WAS VERY INFORMATIVE.

They do an awesome job manufacturing, and installing the windows. Several years ago we used them for replacing four upstairs windows and installing a new bay window in our living room.

A good overall experience marred by a lack of communication about the time frame for the actual installation. Contract was accepted on 10/04/05 with the expectation the windows would be installed in 6 to 8 weeks. After 6 weeks I had not heard from Wasco so I called to find out when they might be installing the windows. I was told they had us penciled in for the week of December 4 but that it was still too early to confirm. Fine. On December 1 I received a letter from Wasco stating that because of Katrina their suppliers had cut them off and that they did not know when they would be able to install our windows. Understandable. We never heard another word from Wasco until I finally decided to call on January 5. Two minutes later they were suddenly able to install our windows on Monday January 9. When I asked if there was any sort mix-up, I was unable to get any explanation whatsoever. Disappointing.

PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. GAVE LOWEST QUOTE OF FOUR COMPANIES SELECTED FROM ANGIES LIST. WE WILL HAVE THEM COMPLETE THE WORK.

THE SALESMAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. WE DECIDED TO GO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY FOR OUR PROJECT, JUST BECAUSE WE DECIDED ON A DIFFERENT WINDOW MATERIAL. FOR THE MONEY, WASCO HAD GOOD PRODUCTS. WE CURRENTLY HAVE WASCO WINDOWS IN ANOTHER AREA OF OUR HOME AND WE ARE SATISFIED.

WE DID GET THREE ESTIMATES, AND FOUND THAT WASCO WAS THE MOST REASONABLE. WHEN I CALLED THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE, TOM, HE WAS ABLE TO COME TO OUR HOUSE AND GIVE A FREE ESTIMATE ON THE SAME DAY. HE DID THE ESTIMATE IN NOVEMBER OF 2004 AND DID SAY THAT THE APPROXIMATE COMPLETION DATE WOULD BE MID OR LATE JANUARY 2005. I HAD A LOT OF QUESTIONS, SINCE WE NEVER HAD WINDOWS INSTALLED, AND TOM WAS VERY GRACIOUS TO ANSWER ALL OF THEM. ONE MINOR THING HE FORGOT TO TELL US WAS TO TAKE OUR CURTAINS DOWN, ALTHOUGH WHEN THE INSTALLERS CAME, THEY TOOK THEM DOWN FOR US. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED IN JANUARY WHEN BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I WERE AT WORK. IF NOT FOR THE CURTAINS THAT THEY TOOK DOWN IN ORDER TO INSTALL THE WINDOWS, YOU WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN THEY WERE THERE. THE HOUSE WAS CLEAN AND THE WINDOWS LOOKED FABULOUS! IN FACT, WE CALLED WASCO IN APRIL OF 2005 TO HAVE THEM REPLACE THE REMAINING WINDOWS IN OUR HOUSE.

WASCO'S SERVICE WAS EXEMPLARY. DAVE, THEIR REP, MET WITH US IN OUR HOME AND PROVIDED US WITH DETAILED OPTIONS AND ESTIMATES. THE TEAM WORKED ON BOTH LEVELS SIMULTANEOUSLY AND WERE PROMPT, PLEASANT, AND THOROUGH IN CLEANUP.
