About us

WASCO Windows opened in Milwaukee in 1957 as Wisconsin Aluminum Supply Company, and was purchased by Dave Paulus in 1983. At that time, the company manufactured aluminum storm windows, siding and awnings. Under Paulus’ direction WASCO became the first company in this area to manufacture then-new vinyl replacement windows. Since 1983 the Paulus family has transformed WASCO into a company that leads the industry in manufacturing and installing highly energy efficient window products, engineered for Wisconsin’s unique climate.

Description of Work: My window cracked 14 years after purchase. I called last fall with my purchase receipt number. They said it will take 6 to 8 weeks. Free if I bring it in or $57 to have one come out to install it.according to the letter sent that said the same thing I was told on the phone. Well 8 weeks was winter so I waited till this week to take it in. They were very nice and repaired it in 45 minutes! Met the owner, I was very impressed that they lived up to their guarantee with ease.

Description of Work: New construction vinyl windows were made and installed for my house. Windows are great and the new inside woodwork is beautifully stained and vanished. They are gorgeous and I am extremely pleased. The salesman was very friendly, helpful and kind and was always available to answer any questions. He never exerted any pressure to make a quick decision to buy. He also gave an interesting tour of the facility to show how the windows are made. The installers were excellent; they worked quickly, but carefully and skillfully. Everything was well cleaned up at the end. I enjoyed watching the whole process of taking out the old windows and installing the new ones. This has been my second positive experience with Wasco Windows.

THE SALESMAN SAID IT WOULD ONLY TAKE ONE DAY, THE INSTALLER SAID 2 DAYS, MAKING THE INSTALLER CORRECT. THE INSTALLER WAS VERY COMPETENT AND PLEASANT. HE DEFINITELY MADE THE EXPERIENCE PLEASANT, DIDN'T FEEL WORRIED ABOUT HAVING HIM IN MY HOME. THE SECOND DAY TWO MEN CAME TO ATTACH THE TRIM, HE KNEW THAT IN THE FUTURE I WOULD BE REPLACING MY SIDING SO HE MADE A MODIFICATION TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR THE SIDING TO BE REPLACED WITHOUT DAMAGING THE TRIM. OVERALL I AM SATISFIED WITH THE WORK AND I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH MY NEW WINDOWS.
Description of Work: OLD WINDOWS WERE REMOVED INCLUDING STORMS AND SCREENS. REPLACEMENT WINDOWS INSTALLED AND NEW TRIM INSTALLED TO OUTSIDE OF STRUCTURE. 12 WINDOWS WERE REPLACED ON A TWO STORY TOWNHOUSE.

WINDOW INSTALLATION WENT AS PLANNED. WINDOWS LOOK FINE. WITH A LIFETIME GUARANTEE I AM HOPING FOR THE BEST. ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THAT THE INSTALLERS MOVE FURNITURE AND REMOVE WINDOW TREATMENTS (BLINDS) AND DO NOT REPLACE. THE BLINDS NO LONGER FIT. THIS WAS NOT DISCUSSED. I WAS TOLD THEY DO NOT PUT FURNITURE BACK SO THAT THE OWNER CAN CLEAN UP. THAT IS OK, BUT MAYBE THEY SHOULD CLEAN UP AND THEN PUT THINGS BACK. IF I HAD KNOWN ABOUT THE BLINDS I MIGHT HAVE MADE A DIFFERENT DECISION.

AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. THE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL SALESPERSON SPENT PLENTY OF TIME AT THE HOUSE AND EXPLAINED, FULLY, OPTIONS, COSTS ETC. WE HAD CHECKED OUT NEARLY 10 COMPETITORS AND FOUND WASCO PRICES, SERVICE AND WARRANTY TO BE AMONG THE BEST ALL ROUND. WINDOWS WERE DELIVERED AND INSTALLED NEARLY 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE DUE DATE. THE FITTER WAS FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT AND CLEANED UP FULLY. ALTHOUGH WE WERE WARNED THAT IT WOULD TAKE A WHOLE DAY HE WAS FINISHED BY EARLY AFTERNOON. HE ALSO GAVE A FEW EXTRA TIPS ON CARE AND MAINTENANCE NOT IN BROCHURES. WINDOWS LOOK GREAT. PRIVACY GLASS WAS NO EXTRA COST FOR THE TWO BATHROOMS AND THERE WAS NO EXTRA COST FOR THE INSERTS TO MATCH OUR DOWNSTAIRS WINDOWS. THEIR WARRANTY WAS THE BEST WE WERE OFFERED.
