Working with Rick was nothing short of a nightmare. At first, everything seemed fine, I had Rick come out to our home and quote the job which included removal of an original bay window, closing off the opening and replacing with a single double hung window. Some exterior work was required, including siding, soffit and fascia to match existing exterior of the home. After finalizing and signing a contact and sending Rick a down payment, the problems began. The contract clearly stated the work was to begin within 6-8 weeks of signing the contract, that was in Feb. 2021. Getting a start date was impossible and when I was finally able to get a date, Sept 2021, Rick never showed up, he emailed 30 minutes prior to start time with more excuses to delay the job. Previous excuses were materials came in damaged, being out of town, having other jobs to complete, being sick... After 7 months of this, I filed a complaint with the BBB, which Rick didn't even respond to. It took a total of 11 months to get my down payment back and only after threatening to take Rick to small claims court. I suggest avoiding Room2Room at all costs! This was by far the worst experience with a contractor I have ever had.

We worked with Rick from Room2room costruction, and he was amazing! The first time we met with Rick for our free estimate, he was very understanding of our budget and what we wanted. He was able to keep me in my budget and get the products that I wanted. He was respectful of us and our home, he worked quickly and efficiently. When he was finished eveyrhing was cleaned up and he made sure that we were happy with the work that was being done. He was patiet with my questions and took his time explaining to me what was happening and the items that I needed to have the job done properly. He was even willing to stop in and help out with a project that he was not the contractor on when we got in over our heads on an easy shed my husband was building. I am excited to work with him again in the future, and I have reffered him to many of my friends, family and neighbors.

From the beginning to meeting Rick, picking the windows, installation and instructions on using the windows, I would say his customer service and product was excellent. All our questions were answered, calls returned, installation was painless and cleanup was great. Tom, the installer, was pleasant and easy to work with, he answered any concerns. I would highly recommend Room2Room for window replacement.

Rick was contracted to replace 31 windows in the home, and he had just three days to do it. Not only did he and his crew expertly accomplish that task, they also thoroughly cleaned the home prior to move-in, and he happily agreed to every other request we threw his way. He exceeded all of our expectations and was prompt, courteous and conscientious. Without his dedication, expertise, professionalism, and can-do attitude, we would not have been able to meet our move-in time, which was absolutely necessary due to a critically ill patient moving in to the home. Rick went above and beyond what was expected of him, and we will recommend him highly to anyone in need of construction, handyman and/or general contractor services. Thank you, Rick!

Rick, the owner of the business was GREAT!!! He was on time, reliable, detail oriented, punctual, knowledgeable and very professional. He was very hands on. He didn't send anyone to do the work, he did it himself. He explained the process of everything as well and kept me very informed. I would highly recommend him and have to other neighbors of mine. -B-
