This company needs to figure out how to be a business in the 21st century. The communication with Kevin was horrible. Every time I called, I would get sent to voicemail. And when I texted or emailed, I would either get a response days later or no response at all. We didn’t choose to use them, the sellers found them and prepaid for work to be done. Was supposed to be done before closing but they couldn’t figure out the scheduling so we closed and dealt with having to coordinate schedules. After 3 weeks of back and forth and 2 times coming to our house, I think the work is finally done. I don’t recommend them unless you want the work to take forever. At least they did the work. They also left cigarette butts in our driveway. Horrible way to leave a place that you were paid for a service.

Kevin when he finally would respond after days/weeks of no response he would make excuses to why he could not come or say he would be there and not show up to yet go back into the cycle of not responding or answering your calls. Our builder had his workers install a couple ceiling fans which we agreed should not have been done and were under the impression Kevin was going to redo them. Also with all the delays Kevin was having we asked if there was something we could do help because of all the delays causing issues with the completion of our house. Kevin said he had no issue with us running the wires in the basement (we also had a friend who is a master electrician look it over). Now another month has passed and we had thought he would be out over a week ago to finish up but once again no show or communication. Mind you we have saved all of the documentation up to this point including him being ok with us running the wire. Today we get a message he is pulling his permit and will no longer be completing the job because of all the work that was done by people other then him. Oh and the best part is our Builder just pulled the draw and paid him in full earlier this week. What a con artist.

I reached out to Kevin for a quote on upgrading my old fuse box in my garage to a circuit breaker panel, install a heater, and cleanup some wiring. We played phone tag for a bit but he did provide the 2 quotes I was looking for. Afterwards, trying to schedule a time for the work to be done was exhausting... he did finally reach out a couple weeks later and mentioned he had Covid, so we scheduled out another week or 2. The whole process went well over a month to get things scheduled and have them onsite to do the work. We agreed on a date, but not a time as I still struggled to get a response back. The work was completed, and Kevin let me know he'd be back to replace one of the breakers with a higher amp one as he didn't have one on-hand. He was also going to install a light on the side of my garage when he came back out to replace the one breaker. He said he'd be back that same week on Friday, but never showed up or responded to my text. I still have the one breaker that needs to be swapped out, and when they fixed a light inside my garage a light on the outside stopped working (original work order). I planned to have him look at the light that doesn't work but again, he never came back out or responded.

It went very well. He was right on time, and got the work done correctly in a respectable amount of time.

KAR was on time and efficient. Cost was low and job was top quality. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Kevin came and looked at the project but never provided a quote.

They didn’t show up that day I tried calling him three times, he finally text me back and said he had a family emergency and he had to leave town and said we had to reschedule. And he said he would give me a discount. I text him back and asked about certain days could he do it and could you let me know if that will be OK. He did not respond . I text him again and explain my situation and asked him to please respond if he can do this job or not. He did not respond. To me this is bad business and bad communication. That was almost a month ago and I still haven’t gotten a response. Do not hire this person he’s unreliable. I hired someone else to take care of the job and they did it for the same price and he was very responsible and punctual

Terrible response Time. Excuse after excuse. Set up my appointment and their van broke down and he couldn’t come to my place until the next day at 10:30am. He texted to say they were going to be early but I did not respond because of my disability. Meaning I can’t do anything about him being here before my caregiver. It’s is not past the SCHEDULED appointment time and he has neither called, texted or shown up. I’m pretty sure he blocked my number too because it goes right to voicemail and my caregiver called from her phone and it goes through. Yet he has still not responded to her either. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! NEVER RECOMMEND!! How hard is a phone call or to actual show up at your scheduled appointment time.

The vendor was polite and professional. Installation went quickly and they did a nice cleanup when they were through.

Some of the best communication with a contractor I have ever had. Received multiple text and voice updates throughout the process. Kevin worked with the inspector as well to schedule the inspections that worked for my time frame. Each visit was professional, efficient and left the work place in great shape. Already have recommended to several people.

KAR electric arrived a few minutes early and got right to work. They worked very quickly and efficiently to get the job done. I was very happy with the service and would definitely hire them again to do other work around my house.

I wanted the repair work done quickly and they were the electricians who were able to come by first. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem and get the wiring fixed in no time. They were quick, professional and cleaned up afterwards. Pricing was very reasonable for the work done. I would definitely use them again.

KAR actually showed up early, which was most appreciative. Excellent work and very knowledgeable, especially since there was a minor retrofit. Not a problem for KAR. Finished quickly and cleaned up. Professional and a seasonable price. Will use KAR again!

I really like working with KAR Electric. Very professional, prompt, and fast. I needed some wiring removed from the outside and a new bathroom timer installed and all of that work was completed in less than an hour. Plus, he was very good about telling me about some prior work that was not up to code and he came back later in the day and provided me with a very inexpensive solution. All in all, I will definitely use KAR Electric again!

The work went great. KAR completed the project without any trouble. KAR put down drop cloth to protect our floors and cleaned up after the installation was complete. The new lights are a huge improvement and all the recommendations KAR gave us were perfect.

Promptly came out to quote project. Never responded to repeat call or text message after that. Could at least politely decline job. If you promise to quote job follow through or decline.

Very friendly. Price very reasonable. I will call them back if I have any future electrical needs. I will also recommend them.

We had not been able to use the two gas lamps on our lawn for the 35+ years we have lived here because no one was willing to work with them. We decided to go electric. Kevin and Jeff were one of only two electricians willing to convert to electricity using our old gas lamps. We had requested a very specific flicker flame bulb that looked like a real flame. Jeff did an amazing job with the conversion and Kevin was able to get the right people for the job. We can even plug electric lawn care equipment into our posts which automatically go on at dusk and off at dawn. Needless to say, we are thrilled. Kevin and Jeff were very busy but managed to get our non-emergency job done for us. We will be hiring them back for other work.

It took a few days for them to get back to us. My wife was finally called back after the third message and someone came and actually gave her a great estimate. He looked up in the attic at what actually had to be done and set a date to come the following Monday afternoon (he would call if he couldn't make it and come on Tuesday instead. I was very glad to have the thing back up where it belonged and done the right way. We had no idea the person who installed it initially would not do it correctly. We even had other electrical work we would have had him do in the future. Well...Monday came and went with no call. Tuesday came and went with no call. It is Wednesday and we still have not heard back. Don't think that's going to happen anymore so back to the search for a good RELIABLE person.

I'd give them an "A" overall. He was the only one that was real responsive #1. For the ones I talked to he was the most reasonable price wise. I would absolutely use him again and I've already referred him to people.

Kevin and Jeff were punctual and got all four jobs done within 2 hours. I was surprised, because I thought fixing the patio light would take a long time. The only constructive advice I have for Kevin is to leave behind the owner's manuals to the fixtures he replaces. I realized after he left that I had grabbed the owner's manual for my kitchen light, but did not have the owner's manual for the garage light or the bathroom fan/light fixture. I was able to get the owner's manual for the garage light from the internet. I had purchased that light and knew exactly the model I purchased. But Kevin had purchased the bathroom fan, and I have no documentation about the fan (i.e., how bright of a bulb can I place in it?). I couldn't find the exact fan on the internet. I did email Kevin and he said he has the manual and will drop it off sometime. Otherwise, I really had a great experience and I would recommend KAR Electric to everyone I know. The quality of work is exceptional. And both Kevin and Jeff were very professional.

I'm a real estate broker and needed to find a quality electrician to make repairs for a client after a home inspection. KAR Electric was contacted to provide a bid and subsequently contracted to provide service updates and other miscellaneous repairs / additions. From first contact, Kevin and Jeff were prompt, personal, and professional. The work was completed on time and at budget, in a very professional manner. An issue outside the scope of repairs actually came up and they went above and beyond to find a resolution. I would highly recommend their services and refer them whenever possible.
