I needed heat before my pipes would freeze. He came out right when I called gave a great quoted price on the spot and came next day to get the job done. Can't say enough. Very happen. Stopped back couple days later to make sure everything was working to my expectations

The owner of Guardian Heating and Cooling, LLC (Steve Peterson) and one of his sons (Adam) did an AWESOME job installing a new, high-efficiency, gas-fired Laars combi-boiler at my residence! If the new unit continues to perform as well as it is presently, and Guardian service continues to be this excellent in the years ahead, I will be a happy camper and pat myself on the back for having been smart enough to hire them. :-) The unit they replaced was built by a highly-regarded manufacturer that had been installed by another highly regarded contractor by the previous owners of my home. As it turned out, the previous heating unit was a money pit and the previous contractors technical abilities left much to be desired. Each heating season, the previous boiler experienced one significant failure after another. The previous contractor kept changing parts without digging into **why** the parts were failing. They simply said I should accept this, since the unit was **old**. Unhappy with this response, I decided to cut my losses. To the rescue: Guardian Heating and Cooling! While not the least expensive contractor, Steve, and Son exceeded my expectations simply by meeting them! They arrived one time and did everything they said they were going to do. With unseasonably cold weather in October, I was initially a bit apprehensive at the prospect of having no heat for a few days while a replacement system was installed. I wondered if they would be able to complete this project in a timely manner, as they said they would. My worries were for naught. There were no surprises and no surprise expenses ... no nickle-and-diming when Guardian needed an extra part or fitting ... no drama. Guardian simply got the job done. And they did it beautifully. They took care to minimize the time I would be without water and without heat. After installation, they thoroughly tested the unit. The next day, they checked back to ensure that I was satisfied with its performance. They also cleaned up reasonably when they were done and were carefully not to damage my property, as they moved large, heavy pieces of equipment and tools around. In summary: a big Thumbs Up for Guardian heating and Cooling, LLC!

Staff was always on time. Gave a very fair price. Only issue is that they had to replace a valve, as it was draining water daily. I would recommend them

Prompt and courteous service people. Product works great and our house feels amazing. Price was right where we needed it to be for our budget. You should know up front that payment without a credit card is preferred.

Our nearly 40 year old boiler system had seen its last day. Steve with Guardian was easily accessible by phone, prompt, and helpful. He installed a new boiler and retooled the set up of our system. We re very happy with the service, speed of the install, and professionalism the guys showed. We didn t shop around much since we weren t interested in having too many people coming in and out of the house during the pandemic, but felt confident Steve was giving us good information and a fair price based on what we were told in the past and research we had done. I would certainly recommend Guardian to friends and family. I will update going forward if necessary since the system is currently a day old, but the house is as toasty as ever so mission accomplished thus far.

He returned phone calls! He talked us through his plan and gave a quote and then stuck to that quote even though there was a bit more work than he expected. He came back to make sure that we knew what he did. Made suggestions for the future with no pressure to do them or use him. Fantastic

I would give Guardian Heating and Cooling 10 stars if there were a way to do that! These guys are outstanding! They showed up, after hours, to determine exactly what was causing our problem. We had already suspected it was time to replace our boiler since it had been more than 25 years old. Steve confirmed our thoughts about replacement. He quoted a fair price and scheduled a time to come back. He showed up early with the new boiler and within hours after their arrival, we were up and running. We had a little hiccup the next day, as things seemed to be working too well. We called Steve and he was at our house in minutes. We already wondered if the thermostat wasn't able to keep up with the new boiler set up. 30 minutes later, we had a new thermostat and everything was working properly. Steve and Adam were friendly and professional. Our basement was cleaner when they left than before they arrived. Their prices were reasonable and there were no surprises, price wise. We were given a quote and that was what we paid. It's refreshing to find people like these guys!

Steve called me within a few hours of requesting a quote on a Saturday and came out that afternoon to give us a quote. He was able to get a new boiler installed three days later. It turns out our previous boiler system had been missing some components, and he was able to add those without increasing the quoted price. I would recommend him and his company wholeheartedly and plan to hire him back in the future for other jobs.
