Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Work was completed in a timely manner.

They were prompt in returning our calls and coming to give us an estimate. They were quite a bit cheaper than other bids. They said they were very busy but would try to get out soon. They were out within a week and did quality work on the roof and then were out the following week to complete the inside work where the roof had leaked. Very fine job on both. Workers were courteous and very efficient. I would recommend them to everyone!

Beginning with the process of getting the estimate and ending with the last piece of roofing materials being cleaned up from our yard, the entire experience was excellent. All of the C&K employees were polite, professional, and responsive to all of our questions or concerns. Their bill was very reasonable and was exactly the same as their estimate which was in the mid range of all the estimates we received. I have recommended them to all of my friends and neighbors.

My neighbor recently had their roof redone by C and K in South Milwaukee. The days following the tear off I found two handfuls of roofing nails spread all over my lawn. I asked the gutter installers to call the company to have them bring out the magnet so we can make sure there was no more nails left in my lawn. They sent a gentlemen out the following day and to my surprise he found another handful (15-20) nails in his sweep of my lawn. Most were found in the middle of my lawn 20-30 feet (at least) away from my neighbor's house. Keep in mind I had zero work done to my house by this company. Today I went to get my laundry off the line and was stabbed in the foot by, you guessed it, another roofing nail! I called the company about my personal injury and concerns for my wife and dog being in the backyard. Their response was "we're looking into the issue, we'll get back to you." That was 3 1/2 hours ago, still no response. I stepped on a nail in my own backyard that they placed there with their negligence and I can't even get a courtesy call.

Very professional and on time. They arrived on time and worked to complete the job. The contractor was present at all times and talked me through the process throughout the day. I was given a clear contract that was followed.

The roof was installed in 1 day it was amazing how fast the guys worked, they didn't leave any mess behind. I will be using them again in the future for my other properties. I like the lifetime warranty also. It was explained in great detail and they took care of all the paperwork.

It went very well. The roof and gutters look great! The gentleman that came out to do the estimate answered all my questions and I thought the price was very compatible to others I received. C&K Services had the best warranties and I liked the fact that they are family owned and have been in business for so many years! The men who put the roof and gutters on were very professional and the clean up was great!! I would recommend this company to anyone!!!

They came out to fix our gutters. After a year all of the repairs failed. Called them and they sent a guy out to look at it, just to send me another estimate to fix their repairs. Our gutters are not near trees or anything else that would be depositing extra weight into them. In the end it was just a medium/heavy RAIN that undid their "repair". I wasn't treated like a customer, just an easy pay-day!

When purchasing our house, the home inspector noticed some problems with the roof and recommended C&K to inspect it in more detail. Time was limited, so we were happy that they were able to come out the next day to write a report detailing the condition of the roof so we could amend our offer. After moving in, we received some quotes and C&K offered a competitive price and used a high quality product (GAF roofing system). We were especially pleased to learn that they have their own crews and do not sub-contract (we’ve had bad luck with sub-contractors), so we hired them. The crew did half the roof the first day before rain sent them home. They came back 2 days later (due to more rain) and finished the roof. The gutter crew came about 2 weeks later to put up the gutters. The crew did a very good job of cleaning up and made the interruption of getting a new roof and gutters minimal. We were very happy using C&K and would recommend them.

We discovered parts of our bay window exterior was rotting because of water seepage from the overhang. We were afraid that we would have to replace the entire unit. We called C&K from a referral. They were very prompt and told us that they could certainly replace the entire unit but in their opinion, their carpenter Scott, could replace the bad boards for the same result at 1/10th the cost. Very pleased with the work.

Company did a very good job. Keep us informed what they were doing and when they would be done. Could have done a better job cleaning up.

C & K had installed our roof about 5 years ago and we were very happy with their service and our new roof. We contacted C & K and left a message on a Sunday night this time to repair/replace a skylight and some other leaking we had during an all day rain in December. They called us back promptly on Monday morning and came later that day to inspect and give us a free estimate. The sales person was friendly, thorough and knowledgeable explaining the 1st leak we had was just some caulking that had pulled away from the chimney. He also told us the skylight was a custom size and they would have to order for us. The visit was followed up a few days later with a very detailed quote of the work that needed to be done. I contacted the sales person to ask a few additional questions (such as the minimum temperature to install the new skylight and flashing) and he called me back the same day and answered all of my questions. We received several other bids from other companies in the following weeks. Although the other companies were not as detailed in their bid or as professional as C & K , we decided to go with another company because of price. I would contact C & K again for any future roofing needs to get an estimate.

They did a really good job on the roof, but we are not really happy with the window wraps. They came out and redid some, but the cocking is not real quality. They did some kind of bending of the aluminum to fit around stuff. They had some employee problems as well. One young employee was planning on having the holiday off, but the owner made him work and it made him resentful. We asked to give the kid a break, but the owner denied it and that was a very uncomfortable thing for us. I would not recommend them to do window work.

The quote process was thorough and detailed. They answered all questions clearly. The work itself was excellent and the crew was very knowledgeable and professional. I recommend C&K and will definitely keep them in mind for future home repair/improvement needs.

They did a sloppy job on the trim and it had to be redone. Stuff was left unsealed and the work was left undone in general. It was very sloppy considering the extraordinary price they charged us.

The salesman, who had been a roofer for many years, provided all the necessary technical information. His experience provided a real benefit in addressing all my questions and concerns. The job was done in a timely manner and the foreman was very helpful in answering any questions and concerns I had during installation. He and the salesman made sure a few minor items were addressed after installation. I would certainly recommend C&K to others.

Sales guy was on time, honest, no pressure to buy. Arrived date and time appointment was. Work was completed on time and professionally. Work area was clean after they left.

It was a great experience but just too much for our pocket books for this year. We got an estimate for siding the upper part of our house with vinyl siding and for soffits and fascia. The work order says to tear off and dispose of existing cedar shakes, install 3/4'' Tuff R insulation, install vinyl imitation shakes, and install aluminum soffit and fascia on all overhangs.

I WAS CONTACTED PROMPTLY FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO INSPECT THE JOB. MARK WAS THOROUGH, ASKED QUESTIONS TO LEARN WHAT I WANTED, FINISHED HIS INSPECTION, AND LEFT A DETAILED PROPOSAL IN THE DOOR. I HAVE SINCE LET THE JOB TO ANOTHER CONTRACTOR. PRICE, REPUTATION (INCLUDING ANGIE'S LIST), AND NEARBY REFERENCES WERE CRUCIAL IN MY DECISION.

WE HAD THE WORK DONE IN LATE AUGUST - THE FIRST NIGHT THAT IT REALLY RAINED, IT POURED IN TO THE HOUSE AT A PRETTY GOOD CLICK. WE IMMEDIATELY CALLED THEM, AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE OUT AT FIRST SUN. THE PERSON CAME OUT, AND HE WAS UP ON THE ROOF AND CAME DOWN WITH A FEW SHINGLES, AND SAID THAT SHOULD HANDLE IT. WE THEN ASKED ABOUT THE DAMAGE INSIDE, AND HE SAID THAT HE WOULD TALK TO THE OWNER AND GET BACK WITH US. IN THE MEANTIME, WE HAVE HOMEOWNER INSURANCE AND ASKED IF WE SHOULD FILE A CLAIM. WE ENDED UP FILING A CLAIM. THE INSURANCE ADJUSTOR CAME OUT, AS WELL AS THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY. THE OUTCOME OF THE MEETING WAS THAT IT PRE-EXISTED BEFORE THE RE-ROOF. THE HOUSE IS 16 YEARS OLD AND HAD NEVER LEAKED BEFORE. THEY SAID THAT THERE WAS MOLDING AND EVIDENCE OF WATER DAMAGE. SO THE INSURANCE COMPANY SENT A CHECK TO COVER THE INCIDENT IN THE HOUSE. WE HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH ANOTHER COMPANY TO GET THE INSIDE FIXED BUT HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE OUTSIDE IS DONE.

TOTALLY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO. ANY PROBLEMS WERE TAKEN CARE OF VERY QUICKLY ON A SATURDAY. WHEN WE MET WITH THE SALES REP IN THE BEGINNING, THEY SEEMED TO REALLY CATER TO MY PARTICULAR JOB, NOT JUST HOW THEY DO ROOFS. THEY WERE VERY PROUD OF THEIR WORK AND IT SHOWED!

THEY CAME OUT AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE TO REPLACE THE TWO VENTS. A CONTRACT WAS MAILED TO ME AND THE WORK WAS DONE WHILE I WAS AT WORK A FEW DAYS LATER. A FINAL BILL MAILED TO ME. GOOD JOB
