My experience with Oevering has not been favorable. From the beginning I should have known. The initial person I met with was not patient. They need to understand that this is a large purchase and a decision this size takes time. They then tried to cut my realtor out of his fees. I told them from day one I had a realtor I was working with. The timing of the house build was fine, and pretty much on schedule, nothing unexpected with a large project. There were many issues right from the start. I met with a couple of people with Oevering to discuss the issues. They come across very nice and helpful and assure that the issues with be taken care of. I stupidly closed before these issues were fixed. Its been a year and a half now and I still do not have things corrected. My doors are bad. They were stained poorly and look horrible. The paint job is bad. They even have paint all over my wood trim in every room and on my kitchen cabinets. The wood on one of my windows is warped. One window has a bad screen yet. The trim by my front door still had the scratch in it that I was assured by the owner would be taken care of. My vanity top in the bathroom is loose and not installed properly. I can lift it up. I've also noticed that the trim around my garage doors is coming loose and is wavy now. My floors squeak. Trim in the guest bedroom is coming loose from the wall. My cabinet doors (five of them) are warped and will not close all the way. I've gone through four different "quality" representives with their company and still can not get things fixed. I've taken many days off of work to meet these people out. I have received new doors that are just as crappy as the old one. And the kid out installing them knicked up the wood trim on two of my door ways in the process. I've been contacted again for door replacements and given a sample that does not match but am told that's the best they can do. I'm now stuck with a house that constantly bothers me. Everyday something else pops up. I wonder what this house will look like in a few more years. This company should be ashamed of itself for the quality of work it does and for not fixing issues. I do not expect there not to be any problems during a build, but I do expect for the company to correct them. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone I know. They made the building experience a bad one.

They did an great job at the initial meeting and bidding the basement finish job. Very nice young man, sent a quote very timely. Once i got the quote, i asked for some additional details surrounding the project and never received a response.
