Gary Kerkman, a class act throughout, spent a lot of time helping and advising us with city building fees, working with the electric company to get the overhead electric to the house move underground and hook up the electric to the garage. NO MORE OVERHEAD ELECTRIC WIRES CROSSING THE BACK YARD ! I look up and see only blue sky! The garage designs also nicely matches the character of the house. Work was slowed early on by rain but then it was full speed ahead and construction was completed in a reasonable time frame within a few weeks. Gary Kerkman showed was at the site most every day. I was given his cell phone number should I need to reach him and I don't believe there was ever a need for us to use it. Except for the time period when the concrete was curing, crew members showed up every day. We chose vinyl siding, a side door and three windows with shutters. The storage loft with a pull down ladder to get up there was also a great idea. My back yard was torn up with the construction and regrading but new garage and yard looks beautiful now with the new sod and no more water draining towards the house or leaking into the basement after heavy rainstorms. Sweet! The quality of the work on the garage, driveway and back yard is most impressive and adds much value to the property. Neighbors have made many positive comments and we are very very happy with the end result. If or when we ever need to build a new structure, a home, service structure, whatever, my first call will be to Kerkman Brothers.
Description of Work: I chose Kerkman Brothers after they provided me with a free estimate that was a bit higher than a couple others but Gary Kerkman's attention to detail in the estimate and professionalism sold me and those traits didn't end after I signed the contract. I hired Kerkman to tear down and remove my old garage, remove my existing concrete slab and 75 feet of concrete driveway. Replace all that with a 24x24ft unattached garage with a storage loft on a new slab, a new full driveway, have the electrical moved from overhead to underground and to regrade and sod the entire back yard.

Description of Work: Kerkman Brothers is currently working on an estimate to build a new home for me. So far so good. Ken Kerkman is knowledgeable, approachable and has been generous with him time. I have seen some photos of homes they have built and they are beautiful but I have no basis to judge any further than that at this time.

Description of Work: Kerkman Bros. Built a garage/ shop. They did a great job. They were timely and the carpentry crew is fantastic. Their price was more than 10 grand away from their competitors but they were the ONLY company to provide a detailed proposal and drawing. Communication can get hairy since there are several companies that work for them. But they did a very nice job.

+ 0 moreThey were on time and they cleaned up their mess. They are real meticulous about their work. The screen room was $28,000. Their price was right in there and we got what we paid for.
Description of Work: We used Kerkman Brothers Construction to do a garage with a second story and they also did a screen room.
