WOOLY'S HOME IMPROVEMENTS

I was really happy with the service and look forward them again. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Wooly returned my voicemail after a few days and then scheduled a visit for an estimate. His estimate came in about the same as a competing estimate, but he was not including the staining and finishing of the woodwork. I went with him anyway, as he had impressed me by listening to my concerns and being very respectful of me when he met me. He completed the work beautifully and cleaned up after himself spotlessly.

John arrived promptly as scheduled. He first looked in the basement to see if any water was leaking into that area. When we didn't see any, he recommended caulking the tub. He completed that and charged a very reasonable amount. He is very easy to talk to and explains exactly what he is doing and why. It was a very good experience. He's knowledgeable, competent and easy to work with. I'll hire him again for other jobs.

! I called Wooly over 2 weeks ago to get an estimate on a outdoor caulking job at our home. After leaving my initial message, Wooly left a voice mail later that night giving me a rough estimate and requesting I call back if interested. I left 2 messages to express my interest and got another message back requesting I call in the evening to speak to him. Although I understand he is a owner/operator, my hours during the week are not conducive for "evening" call backs. Last Friday, I called around 7PM only to leave ANOTHER voice mail explaining that I would like the work done while the weather is still nice and offered to arrange the date of service through our voice mails. Never heard anything back! The entire interaction was unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. We shouldn't have bothered going round and round with this guy in the first place.

Wooly was out to our house on three separate occasions. Each project was a little different. One was home repair; one was installation of two large French doors; one was a bathroom demolition. He always shows up on time and ready to work. I am amazed at how he approaches every project with the same professionalism. Each job was done with the goal of perfection. He worked 10 hours straight on the bathroom demo with no break for lunch or phone calls. He took the same approach on the door installation. No breaks, just hard work. I would definitely call him again.

Wooly is fantastic!!!! He promptly returned my call, even though he's super busy. Because I had a few small jobs, he was able to squeeze me in, a few days after my call. He arrived early and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He even gave treats to my dogs!!! The repairs were completed quickly and perfectly. He always had a smile on his face and was a pleasure to work with.I have all ready recommended him to a friend in need of help as well. I will get another TO DO list together and give Wooly a call. So very glad to have found him. These are items that had been needing fixing for months, but I could never find a person to come over to actually do the work. I would just like to add that i had contacted 9 other "handymen" from Angie's List the same day I contacted Wooly. One actually answered the phone, but then never called back. Wooly was the only one to return my call and actually go out of his way to get me in.There's not a lot of people like that anymore -- Wooly is a gem. Highly recommended AND reasonably priced!

It went very well. John was neat, efficient and very nice. We will definitely be calling him again.

He was awesome. He is basically the guy I go to for anything I need in my house. I paid him $1500 for everything he did and that included cost of all the paint. He painted my entire house, the upstairs and downstairs. He also took care of some other stuff like the drywall because I had just moved into the house and he didn’t charge me extra for that. It was an awesome experience and I received a Christmas card from him last year. He is a really good guy. He called me back the very next day and started the work four days later. He is professional, very laid back and cool.

John Dimmick is fantastic. His work is always done well. I cannot say enough good things about him.

As I stated above,it went very well all problems being considered. The painting was my way of knowing if I could proceed with just painting the wall or having to get it wall papered. I think we can just paint the walls now and they should look pretty good.

I've used Wooly a couple of times before for odd jobs, and he's awesome. His rates can't be beat, and he does great work. Whatever you need a handyman for, call Wooly first. You won't be disappointed.

Everything went very well. He showed up to give me a quote when he said he would. When I called to hire him he gave me a date to do the work and showed up on time and completed everything as promised. He was very professional. Very knowledgeable. I would definitely hire him again and refer him to family and friends.

Wooly completed a large variety of things around our house over the course of a couple of weeks. He was very responsive each time I called and always arrived as scheduled. I was very satisfied with the work and would definitely use him again. I referred a friend to him and he even gave a discount to me for the referral. I believe his price is reasonable

He charged me by the hour. I paid $250 and this was for a full days painting which was around 10 hours. It is a one man operation and he might bring someone to help him. He is just really easy to work with. He is honest and is a straight forward guy. Another thing that I like is that he doesn't mind me working with him which is a bonus for me. It would triple my work because he does it better and faster but at least I can plug along and help out. It also saves me some money. I have used them four times now. I am a home owner for 30 years and I make a list. When I need something I call him.

He was very knowledgable. He did an excellent job with everything he did. He was very professional and would definitely recommend him to anyone else in the area.

It didn't go. They never called to even look at the job I wanted performed

He didn’t come prepared. He did not have enough caulk to do the job. He had to go back and get some more; so it delayed the job. I would use them again in the future if needed.

We needed several small jobs done around the house that I wasn't going to be able to get to anytime soon. So Wooley did this collection of jobs over a week while we were out of town. He met me the Friday before our trip to go over everything and I gave him the key. He was awesome, funny, good with our dog and I felt very comfortable leaving him with access to our house while we were gone. He finished the work in less than his estimated time and it was BEAUTIFUL! We were excited to see our 'new' interiors and we were not disappointed when we came home. Wooley rocks!

Everything went well as I knew it would. I have used Wooly for several other projects and have always been very satisfied with his work. I w ould highly recommend him.

It went well- we had a low ceiling to work with and a il-fitting door frame going into the space- so there were some issues with the ceiling frame being flat surfaced- and the finished ceiling is not flat- has a slight rise to one side ( not really his fault) though I wish it would not have worked out that way. He got the job done quickly and charged just what he quoted. Great and honest personality too!!

We still call him for a variety of needs. His performance was always excellant. I have just contacted him for a new project. My father was a contractor and so I tend to demand nothing but the best work. I have not found him lacking in any regard. I would never fear recommending him to any of my friends. A++++

He did very good work. He was prompt and professional. He was very competitively priced.

This is the 3rd time that Wooly has done work at our home. I am very plesased with his work and plan to continue to work with him in the future.

Wooly was very pleasant, punctual, and efficient. The new caulking looks wonderful. It took him about 2 hours to dig out the old caulk and add the new. I discovered one tiny air pocket that evening and called him back the next morning. He came right away and fixed it at no charge. I will definitely keep him in mind for future handyman needs.
