+ -1 moreGoran was professional, flexible on timing to swing by and provide a quote, very patient in explaining my options, and most importantly very knowledgeable on the electrical code. Pricing was reasonable compared to others, and he even made small adjustments outside of scope of the quoted work to my existing subpanel in order to make it easy to pass inspection. He showed up on time each morning and worked diligently to get the job done. He didn't mind when I would take a break from my day job to observe/ask questions, and seemed to enjoy the conversation without it having and affect or slowing down his work. Highly recommend!

+ -1 moreCalled Tesla 2.5 weeks ago to set up appointment. scheduled apt for 7:30 a.m. august 5th. Received a call at 6:45 that morning that due to an electrical emergency he would not make the apt and would contact us. I understand the situation, no problem. Have not heard from Tesla since. Called him on August 7th, as of 4 P.M. August 8th have not heard anything. Not good business, will not be my electrician ever. Would not recommend to anyone. Tom D.

+ 1 moreVery smooth. Goran was great and I felt his prices were too low so I have him an extra $100. I was quoted a price from InPhase electric that was 3x larger than what Gorhan quoted and his invoice amount was lower than his quote. Very happy with his work and have plans to hire him again.

He was lacking a replacement unit (my fault - wasn't as clear on the problem as I could have been) so he headed off and picked up a suitable replacement. Installed it and it works great. Quick, professional, and personable. Very happy with the process.
Description of Work: I had an exterior security light fail and the installation and wiring was problematic.

Here's why: - Goran got back to my inquiry via his website very quickly - He came when he said he was going to come (actually, a little early) - Goran did the work he said he was going to do and didn't try to upsell me on anything. He gave me the choices and I decided what work would be done. - The work was done in a timely manner - He alerted me to a problem with the grounding of the radon mitigation system put in before I purchased the property and recommended I contact the company that installed it - The price was reasonable
Description of Work: New electrical panel inside; new electrical service outside. Wired the garage door opener to a dedicated outlet (instead of having it plugged in the socket for the light fixture as it had been). Replaced a few switches.

+ -1 moreFirst of all, Goran Jovovic, is fantastic. I had a long list of items that I wanted to go over with him during his walkthrough of my home. He listened attentively and provided suggestions, along with pointing out issues that I should get taken care of in the future. He was very upfront and honest with me, and verified the high priority of a new electrical box and service. Goran was a half hour early to our appointment, which was very nice to see. The work he did was amazing, even going so far as to label all the circuits on my panel. Visually, everything looks neat and tidy -- no sloppy work from this guy! I do not know much about electricity, but I do know that he is very easy to work with and professional. The most important thing is that I trust him, and I will have him back to my house to complete other work that needs to be done.
Description of Work: Tesla Electric performed the following: Supplied and installed a new 100A overhead electrical service with a 30 space main panel; Supplied and installed grounding of the electrical service; Supplied and installed a 20A GFCI outlet on a dedicated circuit for laundry.

+ -1 moreGoran provided excellent, high-quality work at a very good price. He was professional and worked quickly and efficiently. As issues arose, he patiently explained options. The living room switches and TV outlet were the most difficult as the basement has a drywalled ceiling and one wall is exterior on the house. Goran creatively came up with a few good ways to tackle the difficulties--particularly routing the new electrical cabling through the walls. He was meticulous with his work--using a level to make sure openings were level, stapling low-voltage cables in the attic and recessing the outdoor outlet to better hide it from view.
Description of Work: Installed new switches and an outlet in the living room, another outlet in the basement and one outside of the house. Also helped with pulling CAT6 and coax cable for TV.

Description of Work: He thoroughly checked and found out why my 3 over sink lights were not working. One bulb was broken and had stripped the thread; he was able to get that out. He checked the wiring for safety on the whole set up. I learned which bulbs to get that will reduce heat. And he installed the proper bulbs. I very much appreciated what he did because, I could not have done this for myself. due to balance issues and two bad knees.

Description of Work: In conjunction with a complete kitchen remodel, Goran re-wired to bring the kitchen up to current code. He added additional GFI protected outlets, two in ceiling can lights, and also wiring for under cabinet lighting. Additionally, and I might add a much larger job, Goran upped our home electrical service from 100 amp to 200 amp. This required digging outside the house to connect the new underground service, installing a new circuit breaker panel, and installing a new grounding. Everything that was necessary to bring our home up to current code was accomplished professionally. He always cleaned up any mess before leaving, including the refilling of the digging he had to do outside. Goran is prompt, friendly, and above all professional. I must say, Goran is one of the best contractors I have ever had the pleasure of hiring. I HIGHLY recommend him!

So, once we had the home inspection done on the new place, I emailed him the report to give him an idea of what he was going to find. In a few hours he had all our basic work done. He is very personable, polite and professional. He is just so easy to work with! We will definitely be asking him to do some of the bigger electrical projects we will be tackling later this year.
Description of Work: I purchased a home built in 1971 that had no upgrades done over the years. General upgrade to electrical, including replacing about half a dozen sockets with the GFCI outlets, removing electric socket in the attic (it was installed on the floor).

We don't know how to rate him on price but we would give him an ‘A'. We expected a huge mess like our wall being torn apart and things like that but nothing like that has happened. It looks like as it had always been there, so that is great. He is pretty professional. He has done some of the work. He is coming back next week. We would definitely use him again in the future.
