I was very pleased with the service I received from Reimer Roofing. Todd who came to the house and gave me the estimate was very professional and helpful. Scott Reimer oversaw the work and kept me informed on what would be taking place and when it would happen. Scott followed up with me throughout then project as well as afterwards. The work crew was great and they cleaned the yard and area around the house at the end of each day. The cost was a little less than other estimates I received and the work was of high quality. I highly recommend Reimer Roofing & Remodeling.

I left messages, including my name and telephone number, for Reimer R&R on 4/6/16 at 12:35 PM and 4/8/16 and 1:38 PM to schedule a quote for siding and gutters for our house and garage. I have yet to receive a call back. And, before they reply by saying that I must have them confused with a different company, the voice mail said "Hi, you've reached Reimer Roofing & Remodeling. Sorry we missed your call". I won't be calling again. It's not a good representation of a company if they can't even call back to give a quote for a cash paying job. Their loss.

Simply stated, excellent. Kelly was very professional from Day 1. Being that we had put a lot of sweat equity into the house throughout the summer, we were looking for someone we could trust to finish the job the RIGHT way. In addition to knowing what we wanted from the work, we knew what we wanted from a price standpoint as well. Kelly worked hand in hand with us to meet our budget as well as our quality expectations. Kelly was responsive throughout the process as well. When we asked for multiple samples of siding color, Kelly was able to get it to us in a very timely manner. Once the work got started, we were very impressed with the crew Kelly had. They made quick, efficient work of the job. They were polite and clean. Throughout the process we made it a point to do a thorough end of day inspection. Most of the time we didn't find much, but anything we did find, they fixed the next day. Finally, when it came time to have a final review and sign off, it was Kelly who came out and did the final walk through. We just had a few things to square away, and Kelly did the work himself. As someone who enjoys the DIY aspect of owning a home, I would highly recommend Kelly and his crew to anyone. They were professional, timely, courteous, and do very solid work. No complaints from this new home owner!

This company was a pleasure to work with, under challenging conditions. In late October, I received a letter from my homeowners' insurance company, advising me that my insurance would be terminated unless I had new roofs on my home and garage by December 7. I was able to get estimates from three roofers, and went with Reimer because their bid was competitive, Todd was honest with me, and they could get the work done in time to satisfy the insurance company. They came out the week of Thanksgiving and did the work in two days. The place was crawling with roofers, all of whom were cheerful- and friendly, and careful to clean up and keep me advised as to how things were going. But that wasn't the end of it. I advised the insurance company of the installation, and sent them the documentation they said they needed. But they wanted more, kept asking for additional documentation. I'd Todd kept providing the documentation requested, and finally drove over to my house early on the Friday before the insurance was due to expire with the last piece of documentation. All service was provided cheerfully and promptly given, without fuss. I was very pleased with the result.

Talk about a massive overhaul of our house! Our house went from being a sore spot on the block to hands down the best looking one. Reimer just did an all around fantastic job. We could not be happier with how everything turned out. Starting from the initial consultation, we could immediately tell Kelly was very knowledgeable about the work our house needed. He was very easy to talk to and never pressured us into anything. One of my favorite aspects to working with him was his responsiveness, in particular his responsiveness over email. Whenever we had a question, we could just send and email an pretty much expect an answer the same day. All quotes and the final invoice we sent via email as well, which was excellent. And in the middle of the project we changed out minds and decided to just have the back porch removed and the door converted to a window and they didn't miss a beat. Everything was very professional all around. The price he quoted was right in line with the other three quotes we received for the project. The workers were always there bright and early each day and were pretty much cleaned up before I got home from work each day. It was always impressive to see how much work was accomplished while I was gone each day. I was impressed by how they were able to set up scaffolding to get up to the top of our two story house, since the space between our house and our neighbor's was probably about 6 feet! Now, any project as large as this one is inevitably going to run into some snags, and we did have a few small things happen. For instance, a ladder fell into the one area of our gutters where we weren't replacing them and left a nice dent. When they were pulling the upper back porch it cracked some plaster inside the house. And the furnace exhaust pipe was accidentally broken off. But in each and every case, Kelly always made sure everything was rectified right away. A problem was even noticed months after work was complete and he made sure we were taken care of. I imagine many contractors might have told us to go pound sand, but he just immediately agreed to help us out. Cannot speak highly enough of how well he made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Oh, and they even reseeded the lawn because some grass died from all the supplies that had to be left in the back yard. Didn't even ask for that and they did it anyway. The cleanup work was top notch as well. I think I found maybe one nail in our yard afterwards. That's it! And the fact that they were able to get that entire house done in less than 3 weeks was impressive as well. There was a lot of work that was being done. It has been about 6 months now and almost through winter and there have been no issues with the workmanship whatsoever, everything looks as great as it did when they were finished. Next up we need to have our entire roof completely replaced, and the first place I will be contacting is Reimer.

Reimer was a great fit for us. They didn't try to oversell us on anything and walked us through all our options. Todd was highly responsive and never left us waiting for an answer. When we raised a concern Todd addressed the issue and kept the project on track. The whole team was very accommodating and professional. I really like the way the house turned out. It looks great and it feels wonderful to know we are weather tight. It was refreshing to find a nice reliable team to work with on our house.

Called Reimer on a Wednesday morning, Todd came out about an hour later for an estimate, had new roof by Friday afternoon of that same week. Todd was wonderful to work with. The crew showed up right on time day of job, very professional and answered all my questions. Crew went the extra mile to clean siding after noticing some scuff marks. After job was finished Todd came out again to check out the work, when I mentioned we had found some nails he sent someone back to do another sweep of the yard with magnet. Roof looks fabulous. Will definitely be calling Reimer when we decide to roof the garage, would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

d Wanted to replace old aluminum siding that had been on my current house for who knows how long. Was searching through deals on Angie's List and saw a deal from Reimer Roofing and Remodeling for 1,500 square feet of vinyl siding for $6,499 and decided to reach out to them for more information. After a few email exchanges, Kelly (the owner) came out to the house and took a few measurements. A week later he came back with a quote for both the house and garage for a price that I thought was very reasonable. Due to them being busy with work, the project was scheduled to start 2 months after first contact. Kelly and his crew of 5 people showed up the day before Thanksgiving and got started on the job. During the whole process, his team, was polite, efficient and kept the job site very clean. They finished both the house and garage in 5 days time (including some repair work on some windows in the garage that were in VERY rough shape). They also installed new outdoor lights as well as a new outlet on the garage that they recommended be replaced. Overall, the team did a great job on the house and garage and we could not be happier. Job was done on time, with no additional costs incurred and the house and yard were left as clean as it was when they arrived. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering new siding for their home.

The original cedar shake and three layers of asphalt shingles on my house had never been replaced, so the job was a big one. Kelly and his crew did an amazing job with the messy tear-off, shingling and gutters. I expected it to be a multi-day job but they worked faster than I expected. An additional project was plastering the hole left in my living room ceiling from the removal of a wood stove chimney. That too was done to my complete satisfaction.

I wasted my money with this company. They did so much damage to the new shingles, my aluminum trim, and all the flashing. Five times they came back to address these concerns and did absolutely nothing. I just paid an additional $3200 to have the damage to the facia, soffit and flashing on my dormers repaired. Reamers got my money, but I have my mouth.

Quality! Professional! Detailed! Fast! When making an investment as large as this - I can only recommend working with Reimer Roofing. We received a quote in March 2015 and waited to have the work performed. In a panic after a little leak into our home we immediately called and Reimer Roofing was able to start our job within 24-hours. The crew was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and worked quickly. Unlike other crews that stand around or take long breaks - these gentlemen worked hard! I wasn't sure how a 3-D roof was going to look. We couldn't be happier. The roof and garage look amazing. Our deciding factors to work with Reimer were based upon the trust we had in Kelly Reimer coming to our home to quote our job, the information on the product that was provided to us, the warranty of both the work and the product and their reputation. There is not doubt we will recommend them to anyone that needs their services!

Initially wanted deal in Angies list but told the sq footage was larger than deal stated - not sure that was true. But they were willing to negotiate and came close to the second/third quotes we had so we decided to go with this vendor because we liked the ratings and reviews they have - so we were willing to pay a little more once the revised quote given was closer to others (within a couple hundred). Some scheduling challenges initially but once timing was confirmed they were very punctual and came when they said they would. Completed in two days - could have done a little better on the clean up part (i.e. found nails in driveway after first day and some debrie after completion and small things like some gutter shields not replaced etc.) but once they were told of the concerns they addressed them immediately and professionally. Crew was very nice. It looks great and we are happy to have it completed before winter sets in. Looks like a quality job but haven't had it long enough to know if any issues exist. We were torn between giving an excellent or good overall rating... quality of work was excellent and some of the service related items listed above made rating good (however they followed up on concerns very well).

They told me the job could take 2-3 days. They arrived early on stated date with a dozen workers. The entire job was completed in one day! The workers were there late into evening cleaning up and asked when they were done, if there was anything else I needed. A few days later the Owner came by to ask me if I had any concerns and took a ladder and walked the entire roof and inspected the work done. He was at my home for a hour or so checking all the details of the work. .

When I asked for an estimate the owner was out here the next day. The crew got here early morning and worked hard till 7pm in 90 degree weather. My roof looks so much better, thank you!

We are currently awaiting funding in order to schedule the work.

It was beautiful. They did an outstanding job. They did it within a little over four hours. Three crews were working on it. It was actually a little more than the big deal price. I would definitely recommend their work to a friend and I believe that they would do an outstanding job, just like they did for me. The quality was exceptional and the response was quick.

They did not ask me for payment until after the job was complete. They were very efficient, and cleaned up everything. My wife and I are exceptionally happy! I also found the best pricing with this company.

I asked for a free estimate. Kelly the owner came out and provided an estimate of $6,499 the special offered through Angies List. I took advantage of the special, but mentioned to Kelly that I had seen a previous review from a fellow Angies List colleague who complained about their service. Kelly assured me that they resolved the issue, so I went ahead allowed the work to be done to the roof of my home. I experienced excellent service with Reimer Roofing and Remodeling and all the roofers were professional. I was informed every step of the way. It only took 1-2 days to get the roof totally complete. I will use their service again. Thanks Kelly and your team, I really appreciate all your hard work!

Professional, arrived on time, quality work.

Things went well. The workers were good. We are very satisfied. They were prompt.

I have hired a number of home repair contractors through this list, and have been satisfied with all of them except Reimer R&R, which has been the most disappointing contractor experience of my life. The customer service is nonexistent, and it is impossible to reach anyone by email or telephone. During the powerful 2008 winter storms followed by torrential rains through the following spring, my roof was damaged and leaks to the interior developed. I obtained 3 estimates and hired Reimer to do the work. They said the roof looked relatively new, under 10 years old and only the half facing the wind direction needed replacement. While cleaning the yard after the winter thaw in the spring of 2011, I found several shingles in my yard, and noticed ?bald spots? on the roof, and other loose shingles still attached the roof. I notified Reimer of the problem by email and got no response. I notified them again by email in July and got no response. I also tried calling and only got voicemail, left a message, and was ignored as usual. As the shingles fell like leaves over the next few years, I called and emailed a number of times again and was ignored. After recent storms and high winds this year, I found a number of other shingles in my yard, I called them last September, got voicemail, and left a message. They have not called back to return my call. I called again in October, got a voicemail, and left a message for them to give me a specific time and date when there would be an actual person to pick up the phone. They called back when I was not around and left a message ?sorry we missed your call?, but did not specify when to call back. I emailed them again on Monday through AL, but never got a respose back. I need to have this taken care of soon. I have to wonder if they are stalling until the warranty expires. At this point I have given up hope that Reimers will make good on their guarantee and repair the damaged roof in keeping with their guarantee, and will have to hire another contractor to redo it. I will be giving them a negative BBB review/complaint and will look into addressing this in small claims court.

From day one Reimer was the right choice. Kelly, the owner, was punctual, returned calls, kept his schedule, completed the work on time, was flexible with extras I wanted and cleaned up adequately. His supplier shipped the wrong siding but Kelly got the correct siding in a few days and got right back to work. Easy to work with. I checked pricing with two other larger, well known firms and they were considerably more expensive. Totally satisfied.

We ultimately went with another provider but it was a hard and close call for us as Kelly had been so friendly, honest and helpful in explaining what would go into completing out project and the cost and labor involved. We would gladly want Kelly and Reimer to quote on any future projects we might have, and would recommend his company without hesitation.

I met with Kelly after purchasing an advertised roofing special on Angie's List. I knew from speaking with other roofers that ours would not be a cheap job. This house was built in the 1930s and was a typical 2 story bungalow house in the Riverwest area of Milwaukee: 2 stories, each floor over 1000 square feet, steep pitched roof with an equally steep pitched roof on a detached 2 car garage and built on a steep little hill from the street. Kelly was very professional and walked with me around the house to take notes on what I wanted done. He also took the time to explain to me what he recommended for the job and why, without making me feel as if I were incompetent. He was also able to help me work with our pricing for the job to help it fit into our budget, which was immensely appreciated. He applied the special pricing I purchased to our new quote and worked with some sales from his suppliers to help reduce some of the cost of materials. During the job, he and his crew had some challenges - the weather and some difficult neighbors. Nevertheless, they were able to complete the tear off of many layers of old roofing material and re-deck the house quickly and get parts of the roof finished in good time and in-between the rainy days. Kelly and his team also had to deal with a couple of difficult neighbors. We had 2 neighbors call us about: 1) noise, 2) the dumpster location and duration, and 3) presence of workers in their yard. 1) Noise - We dismissed this concern because we notified neighbors all around the property far in advance about the work that was going to be done so there were no surprises for them. We gave letters to all the neighbors that included the approximate dates of work being done, the name of the contractor and our phone number to call if there was a legitimate concern. We felt it was unreasonable to think that a house could be re-roofed silently. 2) The dumpster location and duration - We dismissed this concern because the dumpster was placed on our own private driveway and not a shared driveway. We received a call to complain 1 1/2 days after the job began - not long enough for a reasonable complaint to be recognized, in our opinion. The dumpster was removed about the 3rd or 4th day after all the tear off and old decking material was removed. 3) Presence of workers in their yard - The property line between the houses is blurred. The side of our house is used as their "fence" for their dog even though there is at least a couple of feet between our property line and her fence. This neighbor was upset because her dog was inside her house barking at the workers. At one point, we were horrified to learn that her dog got out and bit one of the workers during this project. Aside from our speaking with the neighbors, Kelly and his team dealt with them in a professional and very courteous manner. I think he was much more tolerant and gracious that he needed to be. Once everything was complete, we noticed a gutter on the back of our detached garage without a downspout. I contacted Kelly and he apologized for the oversight and went back to the house and attached a downspout immediately. We had an excellent experience working with Kelly. He really made us feel that he appreciated our business and was willing to work hard to help us accomplish what we needed by giving the best service I have seen in a long time. I would absolutely recommend Kelly and his team to anyone who needs this kind of work done.

Kelly called us everyday to let us know if they couldn't make it due to weather and kept me updated on the roofing job. I would recommend them to anyone. There is a 50 year warranty on the roof.
