We had this company install glass block windows in the late 1980's or early 1990's. The work was well done. We were pleased. In Feb. 2015, we had basement foundation work done.(by another company) and they needed to have ventilation in the basement due to all of the dust. They lost the glass inserts to our glass blocks vents. So all we had was a screen to the out side. It is cold here in Wisconsin and having your basement windows open is a bad idea. I called Quick Set Panels to (as they had originally installed the window) to see if I could get a replacement cover. They no longer make them but was told I could replace the vents. I was told vents would cost $175.00 each. I have 5 windows and that would have been expensive. But Scott came over to see what I needed to fix the situation. He was honest and said I could go to the local hardware store and get plexiglass to cover it. The plexiglass works just fine and it only cost me $9.00 total. I would recommend this company highly.

I called Quick Set when things went badly with another window company and our bathroom remodel timeline was being delayed. They saved us. Not only was Quick Set quick and efficient, but the craftsmanship and customer service were stellar. Their prices were right in line with other quotes I received. I only wish I'd known to call them first. I'm delighted with the work done.

Quality and service were excellent! I was originally looking to replace only two windows in the basement with regular glass but the quotes I received were ridiculous ($900). I had Quick Set Panels come out and they provided me a quote to replace all of the basement windows and the coal shoot with glass block for only a few hundred dollars more. On the day of the install I let them in, left for work, and came home to a precise and clean installation. I could immediately detect the increased energy efficiency with the glass block, and the increased light and "curb appeal" are added bonuses. Having the ability to circulate fresh air through the space is a much added relief since I moved my home gym to the basement. My basement has always tested low radon levels, but now I have added security for, again, only a few hundred dollars more than a radon mitigation system. An exceptional value for the money!

The gentleman that did the quote was very good, and looked at both the inside and outside of the house He also noted that I could move the dryer vent from the existing left side to the right so I could improve access to keep vent clean. I did point out that the window could be accessed outside by moving a hose box to get under the deck,.When they came to do the work they were on time and took care to not let my house pets into the work area or out of the house. They also cleaned as they went. I was very happy , until I went outside later that day to find a member of the crew had not moved the box but had instead but large rubber mats (left behind) on top of the flowers and crushed them. A few will recovery but some are dead. I was not aware he had even gone outside until later. I would however still use this company and can recommend their work, I would just make sure I clearly state they need to come to me before going into the yard.

Right from the start this company was professional and returned all calls. Price was right in line with other estimates. Polite workers cleaned up after themselves and finished the job in two hours. All work was done in a professional manner. They even managed to keep my exterior stucco intact and made the windows look as if they were there when the stucco was applied. All caulking was neat and nearly invisible.

Great communication. Arrived as scheduled. Were kind to our dog. Great job of cleaning up. My wife was skeptical at first about placing these in a house of our vintage, but after reviewing the result she wished we had done sooner. The installation challenge of the double furnace pipes was met with a clever arrangement of blocks, plus mortaring in the pipes that would not have worked if we had used a silicon installation rather than mortar. Really first rate work.

They showed up on time, they were done ahead of schedule. When they came to measure they were very professional, knew what they were doing and did it well.

Professional service' they did a good job and have great customer service, although initially the window was pitched incorrectly and needed to be re-set.

Estimator was very polite, very friendly, and very efficient. The work team showed up on time, and they did their work quietly and efficiently. The installation was well done. However, they did not clean up after themselves very well. There was a great deal of cement dust in the basement, including on the washer and dryer, the floor, the workbench, etc. and also in the bathroom tub, on the floor and carpeting outside the bathroom. I would have preferred that they either clean up after themselves, or tell me in advance that this would not be done. The pre-installation instructions regarding what to remove from the area of the work could have been clearer. Overall, very positive... but they did so well, that their opportunity to improve is well within grasp.

THIS WAS THE ONLY COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY SPOKE WITH ME IN PERSON DURING THE ESTIMATE (OTHERS JUST STOPPED BY WHENEVER WITHOUT MAKING CONTACT AND THEN LEFT OR MAILED AN ESTIMATE). HE INFORMED ME THAT HIS PRICE INCLUDED ALUMINUM TRIM AROUND THE WINDOWS, WHICH OTHER COMPANY QUOTES DID NOT. ONCE I SIGNED THE CONTRACT FOR THEM TO DO THE WORK, BOTH PARTIES ARRIVED ON TIME AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WAS ADVISED BY ONE WORKER THAT THERE WAS A FLAW IN ONE OF THE WINDOW VENTS. HE LATER CALLED AND BROUGHT THE NEW VENT BACK THE SAME DAY AND REPLACED IT.

INSTALLERS FRIENDLY, CLEAN AND ON TIME. I CLEANED BEFORE THEY CAME ALONG WITH MOVING FURNITURE AND SHELVING UNIT. MEN LAID MOVING BLANKETS DOWN INSIDE AND CARD BOARD OUT SIDE WHEN WORKING. VERY NICE AND NEAT JOB. THEY DID NOT DISTURB OUTSIDE LANDSCAPE OF BUSHES OR WOOD CHIPS. WISH I WOULD OF HAD THE REPLACEMENT BLOCK WINDOWS PUT IN YEARS AGO.

ESTIMATE GIVEN WAS MID-RANGE TO OTHERS WE RECEIVED, BUT SCOTT WAS ONE OF THE FEW WHO ACTUALLY CAME IN AND TALKED TO US ABOUT THE ESTIMATE, AND SHOWED US SAMPLES OF THE PRODUCT. INSTALLATION WAS WELL DONE. CLEAN UP WAS GREAT.

BRIAN AND TIM WERE WONDERFUL. THEY WERE ON TIME. IT TOOK ONLY 2 HOURS FOR THE WORK TO BE COMPLETED. THEY DIDN'T EVEN SEEM TO MIND OUR DOG. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN, AND CLEANED UP WHEN COMPLETED.

SALESPERSON WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL IN SHOWING ME WHAT WOULD LOOK BEST. HE SHOWED ME THE DIFFERENT GRADES OF WINDOWS AND HELPED ME MAKE THE BEST INFORMED CHOICE. THE WORK WAS DONE VERY NEATLY. NO MESS LEFT AND THEY WERE ON TIME AND FAST. I HAD WINDOWS DONE BY OTHER COMPANIES AND THE WINDOW VENTS IN THEM ARE OF A LOWER QUALITY AND I CAN FEEL THE AIR COMING THROUGH!

WE LIKED IT THAT THEY CAME TO OUR HOUSE FOR THE ESTIMATE (OTHERS CAME BY WHEN WE WEREN'T HOME) AND SHOWED US THE GLASS AND VENTS, ETC. MY ONE COMPLAINT IS THAT I HAD TO HAVE THEM BACK TO FIX THE GROUT ON THE BATHROOM WINDOW, WHICH WAS DONE VERY SLOPPY THE FIRST TIME. OTHERWISE, THEY DID A GREAT JOB.
