Kevco finished a residential concrete floor in our house in Fall 2017. The floor itself was nicely done, sanded smooth, and looked great--except they used a patch for all the "divots" that didn't even come close to matching the color of the floor. When questioned about the patch, the sales or project guy--I believe his name was Brian--admitted that there are colors available, but they are special order. Brian is either incompetent or a liar. He reminded us that we were going for industrial and this was industrial--to which, we reminded him that it was only industrial if we were going for a paint factory. The patches were so off color that even the city inspector commented, "It looks like someone spilled paint on the floor." He quoted lead times and hands-on times that were always excessive. Even the final fix, which he quoted at two days only took a few hours. When we pushed to have it fixed, Brian was ready with as many excuses as needed to dissuade us. He offered up the idea that replacing the patches with something that matched would require starting over from scratch, require a week or more, and would cost as much as the original work. He said going with a clear epoxy would require re-applying the coating and would take at least two days. He was unresponsive and not punctual at all--the original estimated time to completion was a week, but it actually took almost twice as long. The guy who does the work provided entirely different estimates of time and activity--at least one honest person in the company. They ended up coming in on a Saturday for a few hours, chipping out the previous mismatched color patches, and filling the divots with a clear material. It now looks great, except some of the divots are completely filled and others are not. It's been a long while since experiencing customer service this horrible.
