Description of Work: inspected and replaced pressure tank pressure switch. Arrived 30 minutes later than time I was told,however he got right to work. Had the spare part in truck,replaced it and we were back in business in about 30 minutes.

Description of Work: Appointment was set for 8:00 am. At 8:30 I called and was told that the service member was running late. After another 20 minutes I called again and was told that he had to stop and pick up parts and would be another 30 -45 minutes. The person on the phone was courteous and apologetic but I had to get to work. I cancelled the appointment and called another company who came out the next day on time.

+ -1 moreTHEY (2 PEOPLE) WORKED HARD AND WANTED TO FIND A SOLUTION, BUT I FELT THE SOLUTION COULD HAVE COME MUCH SOONER. THEY WERE PRESENT A DAY AND A HALF. AREAS WHERE THEY COULD IMPROVE: > IDENTIFY THE RIGHT TOOL SOONER. TRIED FIGHTING CLOG THROUGH ROOF, (INCLUDING SHOOTING BLACK GUNK ON OUR LAWN) POKING HOLES IN THE DRYWALL TO FIND A TRAP, THEN ON DAY 2 FINALLY USED POWER SNAKE > POWER SNAKE BROKE AND THEY CHARGED US FOR THE $150.00 REPLACEMENT PART. AFTER A DAY AND A HALF OF LABOR, (SPINNING WHEELS) THIS WAS UNFAIR. I AM A NEW HOMEOWNER AND FELT TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF ON THIS CHARGE. THIS CLOG WAS CLEARED WITH THE POWER SNAKE IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS.
Description of Work: TOUGH KITCHEN CLOG THAT WENT ALL THE WAY TO MAIN CITY PIPE. OUR PIPES ARE SET IN CONCRETE, SO A TRAP WAS NOT ACCESSIBLE. THIS CLOG NEEDED A MAJOR POWER SNAKE. I INFORMED THEM THAT I USED A 20 FT. SNAKE THAT DIDN'T DO ANY GOOD.

+ -1 moreI HAD HAD ANOTHER SERVICE OUT TWO WEEKS PRIOR FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. HE CLEARED IT BUT SAID THERE WAS SOMETHING GOING ON IN AN AREA OF THE PIPE UNDER A TREE, HALFWAY TO THE STREET AND COULDN'T GUARANTEE THAT IT WOULD REMAIN CLEAR. WHEN IT BACKED UP AGAIN I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE TO HAVE MY YARD DUG UP. JR WAS RECOMMENDED BY PLUMBING PARTS PLUS. I CALLED ON A MONDAY AND THEY SCHEDULED IT THAT DAY. THE SERVICEMAN WAS FAST AND EXPLAINED THAT THE OTHER SERVICE PROBABLY USED A 2 INCH BLADE WHICH CLEARED A HOLE BUT NOT THE WHOLE PIPE. THE JR SERVICEMAN USED A 4 INCH BLADE. HE SAID THE CLOG CAME OUT FAIRLY EASILY. IF IT BACKS UP AGAIN WITHIN 6 MONTHS, THEY RECOMMEND HAVE A CAMERA RUN THROUGH THE PIPE TO DETERMINE IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE PIPE.
Description of Work: SEWER PIPE FROM BASEMENT TO STREET WAS CLOGGED.

Description of Work: REPLACED OLD GALVANIZED PIPE, ADDED NEW SHUTOFF VALVE FROM MAIN AND INSTALLED SHUTOFF VALVES TO OUTSIDE FAUCETS, REPLACED WASHTUB AND INSTALLED NEW PIPING FOR THE WASHER. ALSO PIPING TO THE MAIN BATHROOM AND REPLACED SUPPLY TO THE DISHWASHER. REMOVED ABOUT 35 FEET OF EXTRA PIPING. ESTIMATE WAS THE BEST OF THREE PLUMBING COMPANIES, WORK WAS THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE.
