+ -1 moreI called the morning of the appt. to see when the tech. would arrive, I was told between 10 and 12. The tech. arrived at 10:30. I was told when I made the original call that my problem sounded as like it would probably take 1.5 hours to correct, it was fixed in under an hour. I am very happy with the call and will call Joe Wilde back to upgrade the springs after the first of the year.
Description of Work: One of our garage door rails came detached from the wall. Technician re-attached rail, replaced missing wheels, and let me know that the weight of my doors was too much for the springs and recommended replacing both sets in the near future.

Description of Work: I had backed into my garage door knocking it off track. He came out to repair the door and place it back on track. The door looked pretty bad. He repaired it.

Phoned back company and another technician arrived the next day for readjustments- no further problems or costs. It has now worked for 2 months without issue.
Description of Work: Several adjustments to 20 year old garage door- lube to door and springs, tightened panels, replaced weather strip, adjusted sensitivity.

+ -1 moreTechnician was very professional and I felt that he was giving me an honest opinion of the garage door opener. I called the company in the morning to get an approximate time that they would arrive and they did arrive within that stated period.
Description of Work: Our garage door was not working and I thought it might be time for a new opener. The technician said the unit was fine and that some of the wiring was old and needed to be cleaned/replaced. He did that maintenance then lubed the doors and checked the entire unit over.

+ -1 moreI got a call at work from my family on Friday morning that my garage door wouldn't open. I got home at about 4:20 that day and discovered a broken spring to be the cause. I called Wilde at 4:35 and they had me on their schedule for the following Monday. The work was completed by 2:00.
Description of Work: Replaced a broken spring and it's paired spring. Lubricated springs and drive train. Adjusted the drive train.

+ -1 moreThe process went very smoothly! Our old wooden door broke and was literally hanging on the tracks. We placed a call in the morning and had an estimate by the afternoon. Originally we thought it was going to take a week to get a new door, but they called and installed the new door and opener within two days. Our installer, estimator, and Chris were all extremely professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and would recommend them highly for any of your garage door needs!

He gave me good advice for the future and didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. I have to say that I thought it was a bit pricey but I didn't get any other estimates so I may be wrong.

Without knowing a time frame as to when they are going to come out it is impossible to arrange to be there.

+ -1 moreExcellent. They were very polite and efficient on the phone call. They promised someone between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. The repairman showed up at 1:10 pm. He fixed the problem in ten minutes. The part was $5, labor was $75. He was a very polite repairman.

+ -1 moreOverall great, only reason for the A- would be it wasn't fixed the first time. But follow up was great.
Description of Work: The hazard light at the bottom of the garage door was not aligned correctly, so the door would not close. The Representative tighten the bracket, but I didn't think that would work and it didn't. The bracket was too old and bent up and it should have been replaced. I called about a week later and they came back. The Representative was the same one and he was very nice. He replaced the bracket and light and said it was under warranty, so I didn't have to pay again. I thought this was great, I would have paid for the bracket and light, but of course, I wouldn't have paid for another house call. But it was never an issue. Even though it was not fixed the first time, their response to the problem afterward was great. I have used Wilde another time and would again used them.
