They installed new garage doors and one opener for us seven years ago. Now it was time to replace the other garage door opener. The installer was prompt, professional and the price was exactly as they quoted. Joe Wilde Co. is an excellent company, and I would never hesitate to recommend them.

Right after getting bids for a new garage door, ours actually broke. We called Wilde and they moved up our install date to first thing in the morning on the next business day and we couldn't be happier with the product or the way it looks.

We had used their services in the past too. They have done a lot of work for us and they have been really good.

Two years ago, we had constant problems with our garage door cable falling off and then a spring broke. Based on their ratings on Angie's List, we contacted Joe Wilde to replace the spring and cable. The man who worked on our garage door did a good job and really seemed to care about his work. The price was very reasonable. My husband's co-worker needed her garage door repaired, so we suggested Joe Wilde based on our experience. In April of this year, my parents' garage door spring fell off. I contacted Joe Wilde and they were able to repair the spring. Yesterday, my parents' tenants had a problem with their garage cable and spring. I called Joe Wilde this morning and they were able to schedule an appointment the same morning. I just spoke with my father and he was very happy with the work peformed. He thought that Ryan did a great job and was a very nice person. The price was also very reasonable. I worry that my parents will get ripped off or deal with a rude service person. That has definitely not been the case with Joe Wilde. We will continue to use their company for our garage door needs.

I called for an estimate for a replacement opener. I decided to go with the service. They were prompt and the new opener was installed the next day. It's working great! They also inspected the current door and recommended replacement sometime within the next year.

One of the springs on our garage door broke. After looking the procedure for replacing a spring up on the internet and finding that it could be very dangerous, we called Joe Wilde. The technician was prompt and friendly, easily replaced the spring, lubricated the entire assembly, and lubricated the assembly of our other garage door as well. Now both doors work much more quietly. The price was extremely reasonable for a procedure that can evidently maim or kill if done improperly.

Our overhead garage door was getting noisy opening and closing. It was also very out of balance when I disengaged the opener and tried to lift it manually and I feared this may be putting an undo strain on the opener motor, chain, and associated parts. The garage was built in 2001 and we hadn't had anything done to it since we bought the house in 2006 so we figured it was time for some maintenance. I don't recall the name of the service tech but his initials on the invoice are RK. He was prompt, courteous, and very professional. I pointed out that one of the rollers looked rusty. He could have easily replaced it and charged us for that but he said he cleaned it up and it was still in good shape. (My sign of a good contractor is one that could make more money replacing good parts but is instead honest with the less-than-knowledgeable customer.) He did replace a cable and he showed me where it was starting to rust. With the cable our total bill came to $91 but we printed out the 10% coupon of their Web site and gave it RK. Our garage door is now quiet and opens and closes smoothly. We were very satisfied and felt it was well worth the $82.

The experience of working with them went really well. I had looked at various companies for getting the job done. There was another company which was priced lesser than Joe Wilde and could get the doors to me sooner. However, I ended up using Joe Wilde instead and I told them to get the doors in immediately. I ended up making a special order. They were good and professional. They did a good job.

The actual installation went smoothly on the 2nd attempt. The installer was on-time and very professional. However, there were some problems leading up to that day. First, the salesman made a math mistake with the estimate, which I pointed out, and he refigured and said it was $40 more than his number. I didn't recheck his math at that point. Then, later that day, I had a phone message telling me that his number was still wrong and I owed an additional $10. The installer showed up on time on the first installation date......luckily I walked into the garage before he started the work and told him it was the wrong door. So, the door had to be reordered and another day scheduled. Upon my request, I was given a discount of about 6% because of the problems. This was not offered by the salesman; I brought it up at the end of the rescheduling conversation. I have used Joe Wilde in the past.....for a new door in a previous house as well as repairs.....and have always had positive experiences.

I've used this contractor before for both storm doors and garage door installations and adjustment. They are steady and reputable. They are very customer focused in keeping you informed and scheduling installation, etc. The only complaint I have is that it took just over 3 weeks to get the door and get it installed. That's a long time. And while I understand keeping inventory and inventory expenses down - some thought should be given to having some doors kept in stock of standard sizes so that customers don't have to wait so long. Aside from that I highly recommend this contractor. They've always done a good job for me and I'll use them again. The price was 470 for the door and installation. Installation takes about 90 minutes. A little pricey but they do a good job and the quality of the door is good and it opens and closes after they're done - you get what you pay for.

Screw type garage door opener would open but would not close. Called Joe Wilde; received estimate for installation of a garage door opener (~$330), which included removing old garage door opener. The gentleman that I spoke with on the phone asked about the problem and the age of the garage door opener. Based on age (~5 years old) and the fact that it would open the door but not close, he felt it was definitely fixable and recommended a service call rather than a replacement. Service call occurred the next day (very timely!) and within 30 minutes our garage door was running smoothly for both the open and close functions. The gentleman that performed the service showed me exactly what he did, as well as where to check should we have a problem in the future. He also dialed the force on the garage door opener back, since now that it was fixed, it no longer needed to be maxed out open / close. We were very pleased with the service and would recommend this company.

They installed storm door when I was at work. The garage door installation was on time with no problems. The worker was professional and courteous and cleaned up afterwards. Although I researched what I wanted beforehand, Chuck, the sales person was very helpful with the ordering process.

The project went very well...they arrived when they said they would and the entire job took a couple of hours...a dent was noticed on one panel of the door and it was replaced within a week...I love the new door and the service was great!

I have used this company twice and they are excellent. My garage door was very old and I was afraid it was going to fall down. Anyways I first spoke on the phone, then a salesman looked at the garage door and gave me an estimate. He was very professional and not pushy and very practical. The price was excellent for a new garage door, door opener and keyless entry into the garage. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend this company!

They looked up the house and were the ones who did the original installation. They walked me through the diagnosis. I wasn't familiar with the inner springs on the new door. They were prompt, efficient and were right on their quote.

Found Joe Wilde through this list. Contacted them via their online form, and they called me within the hour. They were able to send someone out the same day. Gave me a call a bit later to give me a more specific window of time that the technician would arrive. The technician arrived on-time and was quite courteous. Actual time to perform maintenance was around 20 minutes. The technician explained that I could spay WD-40 on the cables to prevent rusting on the cables, and that this was most likely caused by water coming in under the door when the snow melts. Price was $88.00 total, which I was quite pleased at, as we had a different company work on the door a few months ago which was upwards of $600, and which I've come to understand was a complete ripoff.
