A cable on my garage door broke over the weekend. Decided to go with Joe Wilde Co Inc based on previous reports. Linked to their web site from Angie's List on Saturday night and went to the Contact Us section to submit a service request with an immediate response requested. Within 1/2 hour they called my home to arrange a time to repair the cable first thing Monday morning since I didn't need my car over the weekend. They came as promised and replaced the cable, oiled the moving parts and adjusted the door.

Have use for garage door repairs in past and they were great. Disappointed in this case.

Had them come out and look at our broken garage door. A salesman came and let us know that our door didn't really need to be replaced at this time. Helped us with our garage door opener and didn't charge us for the call. Really appreciate this! Will definitely use them when we actually need to replace it. Thanks!

Called them first thing on Monday morning and they had a technician here by 11:30 am and within an hour, both springs had been replaced, the door lubricated, additional screws added to the bottom flashing we had put in last year because the technician noticed it was sagging in areas. He also replaced the cotterpin mechanism with a bolt holding the angle bar to the garage door so that it did not wobble as much. I'm very happy with the service and the time it took to fix the door. I will definitely use them again.

They are an old company. They were so excellent. They were very nice. The price was reasonable. The service was great. They were really nice people. I did some research on the work. They came out a couple of times before doing the work. I try to learn what I can about something before a job is done. They had a good demeanor, price, and work ethic.

Repairman was efficient, courteous, and knew exactly what needed to be done to put the door in A-one shape. Everything he needed was on his truck. There were no delays caused by lack of parts or tools. The garage door works better than it has in years. I would highly recommend this company.

I called Joe Wilde Garage Door Specialists in New Berlin and was able to get an appointment on Saturday. There was an additional fee for Saturday service but it was the only day that was available for me. Their tech was punctual (a little early, but that was fine) and completed all the work quickly and correctly. I really liked that he talked to me about what the problems were and asked before replacing the carriage, even though it was obviously worn out. He explained why he adjusted the bearing - the door had been shaking so much the light bulbs unscrewed just enough that they went out. I am certain their tech left the garage door in better shape than when they arrived and will call them again for any other repairs to the garage door.

They came when they said they would come. Their price was reasonable and they did good work.

Contacted company to schedule appointment for estimate, stating my preference for an evening or Saturday appointment. An estimator called a couple of days later (week day) saying he was in the neighborhood and could stop by shortly!!!! Told him no one was home during the day and I needed to schedule an appointment. Finally got an appointment, estimator arrived without photos of available door styles or color samples. Took a photo of my garage and said he would forward samples. Two weeks later I contacted the company to inquire about the status. Two days after my call a couple of brochures arrived in the mail along with a proforma quote. I decided there was not a good match between my expectations and their performance so I went with a different company.

It was a weekend and we were unable to close the garage door. A repair man came the same day we called. He came back again a couple of days later to do a further adjustment. We were impressed with his professionalism.

Promptly responded to call and came out the next day to repair the door by oiling and adjusting it. I was a bit disappointed that the other problem we voiced, with the button non functional on the other door, was not repaired. Update 10/11/2010: Excellent. It is really rare that a company takes such pride in their work that they come back on their own to make sure the work is done right. In this case, the original problem, a stuck door was fixed right away, but when they learned of the other problem with the opening mechanism (something we were not really worried about) they took it upon themselves to call us and see if they could come out and repair it. A very professional service person found the problem, repaired it, and there was no charge. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

It went wonderfully and the doors work amazingly. I have used them in the past and they are great to work with. I would certainly recommend them.

We went to the showroom and looked at the doors. The salesman was very courteous and answered all of our questions. Their prices were a bit high, so we got our door elsewhere.

I spent $700 on the job. I will use this company again in the future.

It was a terrific experience. My car was locked in the garage and I was desperate for assistance. They came out within an hour and quickly completed the work. They went out of their way to get someone there promptly and I really appreciated it.

I called and got price. They were able to come on a day that was convenient for me about a day later. Technician was polite and did a great job. The oiled the chains on the other garage door for no charge. I asked for and recieved an Angie's List discount.

Mike arrived on time, went right to work and completed installation without any problems. He cleaned up the work area when he finished. We are completely satisfied.

From Mark, the salesman, to the man who did the installation, they were punctual, pleasant, professional. They explained anything (the wood removal) different that needed to be done before doing it. It was a totally easy process from beginning to end.

One morning on our way out the door to go to work, we could not get our garage door open. By 10:00, Joe Wilde had someone there to replace the springs and get everything back in working order. The person was very professional and courteous.

Joe Wilde had a guy come out in a day or two from my call and he put this kit together and installed it all in 2 or 3 hours. It would have taken me at least 12 hours and probably more and I couldn't have done as nice a job.

Our garage door stopped working and Joe Wilde was able to send out a repair person the next day. I decided to replace the entire garage-door opening system because fixing a 20 year-old garage door motor would cost almost as much as replacing it. I was home when the service man came to check the problem, but I didn't have to be home while the work was done. I am so happy that I got this work done. An added bonus: the new garage door motor is MUCH quieter than my old one!!

Went great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. First they attempted to fix the old opener. But when the final solution was too much money to pour into an older opener, I had them install a new one.
