Saw Wilde truck across the street at neighbors. Went to open garage door and it did not opened. Called company, when he (repairman) finished next door he came and fixed our door! Pretty lucky.
Description of Work: Garage door. Both springs replaced and 3 other parts. total parts $117 -labor $132.

The job was excellent overall. The technician was very cordial and knowledgeable, and offered a wealth of advice. The tech cleaned up everything after the job was done. Very well done
Description of Work: My garage door was under warranty and failed to open due to a trip beam problem due to condensation in the beam device. They totally replaced the beam device and the wiring and made sure everything worked properly before leaving. They did a superb job and gave a lot of advice on how to operate and maintain the door opener

I was very please with the technician's work. He explained what he did and also explained how to adjust the garage door opener. After he left I had a small problem with the electric eye. Since I was leaving on vacation in two days, he rearranged his schedule so he could come out the next day and adjust the sensor. I had used J Wilde in the past and have always been satisfied. I would highly recommend them

I was very satisfied because it was repaired quickly and I feel like it was a thorough repair. My brother and several friends had referred me to Wilde and I'm very glad that I called them.
Description of Work: The sprocket on my garage door opener snapped off so it was completely out of commission. I got an appointment for service the day after I called. Joe from Wilde replaced the part, also found a bent bracket that may have caused excessive wear on the opener, and replaced that too. Then he greased all the parts, checked to make sure all was working well, and even explained to me what I can do to make adjustments, and what to check/test to keep things working smoothly.

The technician RK (sorry didn't get his name) showed up at 11:15 (time frame was 11-2). Completed his work within 45 mins. Very courteous. He even lubricated the door rollers going the extra mile.

Description of Work: Our garage door opener partially broke away from the door. Had someone from Joe Wilde come out and give an estimate for repair. Was told needed a new top panel of garage door since it was partially torn. Fair enough. Said he would call back with a price. It's been 7 weeks and they never got back to me, Will fix it myself this spring with a new bracket and save a lot of money . UPDATE: They contacted me and were very apologetic and promised to get issue resolved. Well,they sure did. Technician came out yesterday and put braces on the busted door and also on the other door to prevent it from happening to that door in the future. The former broken door is a whole lot more solid now when it opens and closes. Nice job! Everyone I dealt with was very courteous and professional. They cut me a deal and only charged $94 for the repair( I also purchased a 2nd remote for my door for $30 that he had on hand and coded for my opener)

We immediately looked into this complaint for Member, pulled the original service call done on 12/31/12, and did indeed find a notation that this garage required a replacement top section. It appears that this did indeed fall through the cracks and this note did not get to the proper department for quoting. I called Member to report our findings and apologize for our mistake, noting that we would not be in business for 68 years if this was how we normally handled things. I offered to send someone out to take the proper measurements and told him we would follow up with a quote for replacement section at a discount to account for our mistake. I called on a Saturday, after they were closed for day. They responded in a timely manner (30 minutes) That they would be out within the hour. This was a Saturday (right before Christmas)

Totally happy with the repairs, service, communication, and schedule provided by Joe Wilde. Mike went above and beyond to make sure my door was not only repaired correctly but made adjustments to the door opener as well. And then he took a look at and did a quick maintenance job on to my other garage door opener. As usual Joe Wide came through. (I've had these guys here for repairs in the past too.) Would definitely call Joe Wilde again for service.

I had been having trouble with our automatic garage door opener. To be specific, the safety beam that prevents the door from closing if an object is in the way was being tripped by bright sunlight even when there was nothing in the way. I called Joe Wilde to replace the whole unit because it had some years on it and a new one wasn't a huge investment. When the service man came out to put the unit in, he suggested that just the sensors be replaced. It turned out to be a lot more reasonable for the sensors than I had thought, so I had that done. He also lubricated the track and also the door (we had originally purchased it from them) while he was at it. The unit is working perfectly and I ended up spending $131 rather than 3 to 4 hundred for a new one. Color me happy.

Description of Work: the door would not rise unless the electronic open was held to on one spring was working. since the springs are on the inside of the pulley bar you can not see which side is broken Mike explain the safety features of the door when both springs work and what to look for when the door is not working to the ultimate design

Fantastic experience from start to end. Very prompt in responding to initial inquiry. Answered all of my questions, and provided a quote immediately. Installer was very professional and even went above and beyond what I asked for. I would definitely use them again.

Great, better than expected.
Description of Work: Our garage door opener stopped working over the weekend. I called on Monday, not expecting to get someone out to fix it. They showed up that afternoon. It was very easy to make an appointment. The technician called me to let me know he was near my house and it was around the time promised. He evaluated the repair, gave me an estimate, and performed the repair within an hour. The technician was polite and explained everything in easy - to - understand language. It was a very good experience.
Description of Work: The metal arm connecting the garage unit to the door fell off and needed replacement. This was replaced and a general review of garage door was conducted. It is an old unit and he had some maintenance suggestions to keep it working well in the future. We will be scheduling an appointment with them for further service soon. After the work was completed the door is working better than it has in the 4 years we have lived in our home!
