Class act from beginning to end. Person on the phone and the repair man, were professional courteous and very knowledgeable. I would absolutely use them again.

Relatively short wait to have this non-emergency service performed. Friendly technician. Had 2 problems following installation: 1) very limited response range for the remote control in the car due to the antenna on the opener being wound around other wires. Separated the antenna and had good range. 2) had a closing problem that was due to direct sunlight hitting the safety beam detector on one side. Had to do my own online search for reviews to learn that this is a common problem. Contacted Wilde company and they acknowledged the problem could occur. They suggested a tube cover/shield for the affected detector might help. I made one from pipe insulation and it worked, negating the need for a service call. The cost of this replacement job seemed a bit high, but I did not comparison shop as I had used the company in the past and had good service.

Was quick and efficient. I thought that there was just one hinge to be fixed but the repairman pointed out that some had already been replaced with stronger hinges. He then showed me the others that were in danger of breaking. So he replaced all the damaged ones with the stronger hinges.

Smoothly and swiftly and to all of my expectations of the company, we have used them in the past and will continue on in the future. Our tech was awesome, left no detail out and explained everything clearly!

Most of the work went smoothly, but it wasn't completed in 1 day as originally anticipated. It ended up taking 4 visits before the work was complete. The track system for the existing door did not allow for the door to clear low enough under the operator and "pulley" system so the new door was installed but not operable on that day. Also, the first 2 installers did not know how to program the remotes. Their explanation was that this was a new garage door that they hadn't had experience installing yet. It took 2-3 more visits over the course of a week before the door and track system could be fixed and we had a second garage door opener (that did not arrive until the last visit and operates although it doesn't match the other opener that came with the new opener). Haven't had any issues once the install was complete.

The company and its representatives were professional and personable. The installer arrived on time, explained all the features, and left the garage as clean as it was beforehand. It was just installed, so I cannot comment on long term functionality at this time. Would definitely recommend the company. The cost was comparable to other companies and they honored the Angie's list coupon. Update June 2014: The opener has worked well. I have since had springs replaced by the same company and again their service and work product were exceptional.

I called Joe Wilde Co. on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, explained that we could not open our garage door. The gentleman I spoke to told me because of the cold weather many people were having problems with broken springs. He told me when they could come out or if I chose to have emergency service. I chose a regular scheduled day and they came out when they said they would and the bill of services was within the estimate given. Everyone was professional and yet personable. No problems and I would highly recommend them. I wish more companies were like them. .

The initial appointment was scheduled for the next day, but they called and ask if it could be done the same day. I was pleased by the fast response. The springs were replaced, the door's operation was checked and all work was explained and shown to me. The man was courteous. I recommend Joe Wilde.

The company gave me a window of about 2 hours as to when to expect the repairman. He arrived promptly at the beginning of the expected timeframe. I explained what the problem was and we tested the garage door to see if the problem could be demonstrated. The problem that I was having was intermittent. He checked a number of things in the response of the automated door opener and determined that the problem may be due to the sensors. He replaced the sensors and reversed their location to improve the functionality. The sensors were still under warranty so I was only charged for labor. The repairman was polite and worked efficiently and explained some of the operating functions of the control pad and sensors.

One day service, on time, court as estimated, employee very professional.

Mike came out on time. I called wild frantic to get my garage door open. I needed to get my car out to go to work. They put me on the service list and were able to get me in that afternoon! Mike was very professional and explained the issue and solution clearly. He even let me know of the homeowner maintenance.

When I called, I was informed that the type of work I was asking about was not something that an onsite estimate would be required. I was able to get information over the phone about the cost of the service and the person I spoke with offered to answer any questions if I had concerns about quotes that I got from other companies. Very professional and polite. Although I didn't end up using them to repair the garage door, the price was in line with everyone else.

Job went OK. They programmed my extra remotes which was great. The thing that didn't sit right was after they gave me the $315 price, and I said I'm an Angies List member and I'd like to use the $25 off coupon, the guy said he couldn't honor it because he already gave me a good price. Dah,.......???? What good is that coupon for then,.......when you FIRST tell him your a member, so he can get his calculator out and add $315 + $25 = $340 minus the "Coupon Discount" = $315 ?? Make sure YOU don't mention the coupon,....and see if YOU get bamboozled too. That was the unprofessional part. They need to DROP the coupon from their site, period,.........or start actually accepting it.
