It went great. Technician called to verify approx. time and date. Quickly replaced broke spring on overhead garage door. Asked a few questions first and determined the door would benefit from stronger springs. He adjusted opener for sensitivity and lubricated rollers. It now operates quietly and goes up faster.

I applied an Angie's coupon. They were fine right from the start to the finish. Their price was fine. It's just probably that there are less expensive people out there. I've used them for several years too, going back.

I filled out an online service request form 2 days before the service was needed. I did not receive a response from the company. I called the next day (the day before service) to confirm and schedule an appointment. The gentleman that answered the phone was apologetic for not reaching out from the online service request. He tried to diagnose the problem over the phone, which was very generous. It was unsuccessful so we scheduled an appointment. He noted on the service request that the technician should call me 20 minutes before he arrived so I could meet him at the house. Jim called me as requested before arriving for service. I explained the problem to him, and we witnessed the issue. He checked a few things, and tightened all of the connections inside the operator. That seemed to do the trick. He opened and closed the door multiple times to confirm operation. He applied garage door lubricant on the wheels, track, and hinges. He also explained issues that using CFL bulbs can cause in an opener, and also offered preventative maintenance tips for a garage door. He was prompt, courteous, helpful, and offered tips beyond the initial service call. His fix, though simple, gave me peace of mind while I can sell the property that he was servicing. I recommend Joe Wilde for garage door repair.

The job went very well. The installer arrived in the service window given. The guy got right to work. When finished, he explained everything that he did, cleaned up after himself and politely wished me a good evening. The work was well done at a fair price. It was a pleasure doing business with Joe Wilde Co.

Provider came the next day to repair the broken garage door. While he was there, he noticed that the double door was making a sound that indicated it might be breaking. He not only repaired the single door, but he reinforced the double door with a steel bar before it actually resulted in a another broken garage door and another service call. We were so appreciaivte of his professionalism and his ability to work beyond the actual reason for the service call. We would definitely use this company again and would cheerfully recommend them to others.

The initial tear down of the old railings was done in mid May, 2014. However when the workers were about to install the new railing, I noticed that they were not exactly what I ordered. I explained that I had ordered alternate straight and spiral spindles, not all straight ones which they had. The installer immediately check with the office and confirmed the error on their part. old railing After apoiogizing for their error , the installers insisted on completing the installation of the incorrect railings for safety reasons with the promise of ordering the correct spindles for later replacement. This was completed today with my complete satisfaction. Through the whole process, the installers were very polite and worked efficiently.

We called Joe Wilde the morning of July 14, 2014 because our two door garage door spring broke over the weekend. The garage door is very heavy without the springs. They quoted us about $250 and they would be over yet the morning of July 14, 2014. They fixed the door when they said they would and charged us less than the quote. We have used Joe Wilde several times in the past and give them an A rating for each time - that is why we keep going back to them for service.

Tech was on time and very courteous. He noticed I don't get around well and use a cane so he made adjustments to door in case power went out and I needed to use it manually. It would have been too hard to use the way it was.

The service provider was excellent. He took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do and, even after he was finished and I had handed him the check, he took more time and answered some additional questions about my garage door. Great guy, great service.

Did arrange to meet us at the house. Missed returning calls. When did put estimate together, (taking several days, other vendors provided a written quote on the spot), they did not listen to where we needed them to send the quote. We were out of the country where our U.S. phone didn't work and they called that, (we told them not to do that) and did not email the quote as we asked them. Took 3 follow up messages to get the quote emailed. Then the quote had the wrong door, wrong design. The quote was hand written and very unprofessional. Options were scratched on the paper. We had to go to the door website to see if the door they chose was insulated. Compared to other Angie's list garage door suppliers, they were the least responsive, least professional and their price was only 40$ less than the others. Not worth taking the risk on their service given how unresponsive and unprofessional they have been in the quote process.

I did not get name of the workman, but work was done in a record time. He checked the motor, pullies and electric eye on the door.

We stopped in to the showroom & picked out a door we liked to replace a 30 year old, contractor grade garage door. After deciding on what door we wanted, we set up a time to have them come out & do the final measuring. They were on time & explained everything they were replacing & about how long it would take. They then ordered our door & said it would arrive to their warehouse within two weeks or so. They called me within 10 days & setup a time which was convenient for me to have it installed. Installation went well & the door looks GREAT!! About two weeks after our new door was installed, we started having issues with our opener not working correctly which was not installed by them. They said that it may need an adjustment due to the new door & they would come out FREE OF CHARGE to resolve. They came out the very next day & resolved this for me at no charge(it was a faulty wire connection). These guys are GREAT!!!

They inspected the spring. It was not broken so they adjusted it so that the door could be opened manually with ease. They recommended that if the spring does break in the future to replace with one that has a slightly higher torque as the door is heavy. They also adjusted the controls on the garage door opener so that it would open properly and not strain the garage door opener operation.

I called Saturday afternoon after hours an left a message Didn't mind waiting until Monday since Sunday was Mother's Day. Dan called early Monday morning and an appointment was arranged within the next few hours. Technician arrived about 8:45AM and finished in just over an hour and everything was back to better than normal . Membership on Angie's List is definitely worth the fee. After reading and comparing several reviews by satisfied (and dissatisfied) customers, I easily chose Wilde over others. We have been members over 5 plus years and wouldn't think of hiring any company until I have checked the provided information and reviews on Angie's List. I also learned that we were gouged nine years ago by another garage door company for the identical replacement of two torsion springs. That company charged us $554 for two torsion springs, $55.44 for thirteen rollers, plus $39.95 for a service call! We were taken to the cleaners but didn't know any better at that time! Wilde, on the other hand, charged $206.10 which included a 10% senior discount and tax. We very much appreciated the senior discount (we are in our 80's)! We are also very pleased with Wilde's professionalism, expertise, and customer service. And last but not least, we thank you, Wilde, for your honesty and integrity!

Garage door spring broke and it wouldnt open. They were able to send someone in to replace them the same day. Serviceman was courteous and professional. Job was done in decent time and he explained everything prior to and after replacing the springs. It was a good experience, will definitely use them again.

l Reset cable. replaced broken roller. straightened bracket and track. Replaced vinyl\ bottom door retainer Adjusted door to floor and adjusted door arm and limit . Checked door balance and operation sensitivity. The repair man was very knowledgable about the door operation and courteous. He did more than I expected. For weekend work the price was very reasonable.
