INTEGRITY LANDSCAPE SERVICES, LLC

Steve Grant was both quick and professional in responding to both of my requests for quotes. We used Integrity Landscape in October 2013 to grade around our house and to redo the edging around our gardens. I waited until late August of 2014 to request their services again, as I wanted to see if their grading and drainage solutions would work. Prior to having the work done, we would get some water in our basement. 2014 was a fairly wet spring, and we had no water after Integrity did the work. In August of 2014, we had Integrity redo our patio and walkway. The crew was respectful of the work space, professional, hardworking, and I was pleased to see most of the same workers from the year previous. I want skilled workers to be working on my yard and not untrained or new employees. The crew leader, Antone, was very polite and answered my questions thoroughly. It also appeared as though his coworkers respected him and enjoyed working with him - also important in having work done well. I appreciated the office staff, Danielle and Tammy. They were polite, helpful, and quick to return calls. We will be using Integrity for several more projects in the future.

Throughout the process, Integrity was the company that impressed me the most. They were prompt in responding to the request for a bid, completed the bid in a timely fashion when others didn't, and were patient as I navigated the process of obtaining permits and a survey (required by the village), which delayed the project's start date. (My issues--not theirs.) I originally bid three companies for this rather extensive project. Integrity's bid was not only cost-competitive, but it also included more features than the other two companies' bids, such as the grading of the lowest portion of my yard. The work was completed in three days. Other companies stated that it would take a week or more, but Integrity showed up with a small army of labor in order to complete the demolition part of the project. They were able to substantially complete the excavation and began to lay the initial bricks for each wall on day one. I was impressed with the speed at which they worked. Each day, Integrity's teams came early and stayed late--often past dark, and left the work space in a clean and organized manner. Every surface was swept; every piece of trash was removed. The building materials were relocated as to lessen the overall disruption to the yard. The foremen and the workers were polite and respectful, prompt, and courteous. Communication with their office staff, when needed, was returned in a timely fashion. Questions that I had prior to the start of the project were all answered to my satisfaction, and the documentation that I needed for the permits was clear. The final outcome exceeded my expectations. My once embarrassing back yard now looks great. I have a seating area where one could not exist before. I'm actually looking forward to see what the spring will bring, as the final test of the project will be to see what the new drainage system does with a heavy downpour. Previously, my yard would turn into a mud bog, but I believe that the work Integrity did will help to solve those issues. I would strongly recommend Integrity for any landscaping or drainage project, and I would use them again in the future.

Easy company to work with - professional, responsive and fantastic performance. The ground crew worked quickly but competently - improve the aesthetic appearance of the property. Definitely appreciate / value the extra spots the ground crew fixed. Would definitely recommend Integrity Landscape to others.

The crew did all this in just two days. The work was excellent, my yard looks better than before they started. The landscaping had degraded so much around my house that my sump pump was running every 10 or 15 minutes when it rained. Since Integrity did this work my sump pump hasn't run once since July!!! It's December now and we've had lots of rain and snow. David, the president of the company, was also on site and gave me some great advice on where to trim the trees around my house and to install leaf guard on the gutters, as well as how to maintain the mulch to minimize soil erosion.

Fantastic. The company showed up on time to given me an estimate, and scheduled a date once I agreed to the work. I was not home when the work was done, but my neighbors told me the workers put down plywood to protect the driveway and worked very hard to clean up all the soil from the street and driveway. My backyard is nice and level now, and the new grass seed sprouted before the cold weather. I'm very pleased with the work.

Except for some scheduling issue due to weather (which were of course not the fault of the company), our experience with Integrity was a positive one: low pressure estimate, quick and clear communication with office staff, professional job on site. We were concerned with now the rest of the lawn might be affected with heavy equipment moving across it to the location of the work, but everything looked great and area was very tidy following the job. We were pleased with the efforts made to get our job completed before the winter season. Mildly disappointed at the 3% "convenience" charge when using a credit card; we understand why they feel the need to do it, but we don't necessarily like it. Integrity was easy to work with and did a high quality job; we would definitely enlist their services in future.

First, since I didn't contact Integrity until quite late in the year (November), I understood that there had to be some flexibility in the scheduling of the work. Even though I really wanted it to be done this year, the weather had to cooperate. From the initial walk-through, proposal, and actual start date, both the office staff and the crew who did the work were all extremely helpful, informative, and friendly. But even more importantly (to me anyway) was that they kept their commitments! They were fairly confident that the work could be done this year--unless we were buried in snow! They were on time, kept me updated by both telephone and e-mail, and got the work done in the timeframe that they promised. My projects were relatively small ones, however they showed up with what seemed to be an army of guys, trucks and equipment and immediately got to work. I am extremely happy with the work they did and will definitely use Integrity Landscape Services for any other projects that I may need done. THANK YOU!!

This was a relatively large and decidedly expensive project and one that we plunged into based on our interactions with Steve, who came out to study our needs, conduct a detailed survey with a laser transit and try to solve what was a challenging water control issue based on the very limited pitch available within our property. Steve was a delight to work with; the same can't be said of Dave Hintzman, the president of Integrity Lansdcape. Part of the project included the routing of a sump pump's discharge into a buried PVC pipe also installed by Integrity. In doing this work, which entailed sawing off the existing discharge steel pipe and connecting the new PVC pipe/fittings, they caused the continuation of the steel pipe inside the basement to disconnect from the sumppump. This led to 3-1/2 hours of sump pump water discharge (an inch of water everywhere) into our finished basement. The next day we called Integrity, spoke to Steve and informed him of what had happened. The next communication from Integrity is this email (partial below) from Dave: " Today we received a call accusing us of having incompetent staff that doesn't know how to install pipes. The suggestion was made that we were responsible for cleaning up water from your basement carpet. To be clear: A. We simply installed a pipe to an existing external pipe. Performing this simple process does not imply negligence. B. If the "interior" connections were properly secure, whatever may have happened, wouldn't have. We have installed thousands of pipe connections for 20 years and have never had an occurrence like yours today." Not even the courtesy of a phone call from Dave. Not an ounce of concern or of seeking understanding or having a conversation about what just happened in our basement. Further, he threatens to not return to the job unless we reply via email, within two hours, that we "agree to the terms of the contract". I call him back, he replies with yet another email. Had they not had our yard already torn up and deep into the project I would have fired him from the job immediately. This is only a vignette of what it's like to deal with Dave Hintzman. There's more, such as requesting 100% payment for work that wasn't 100% completed. I'll make one thing clear, his crew and Steve were very good to work with and took great care in the work they did and clearly know what they are doing, but all that high quality work is deeply marred by quirky business practices and extremely poor 'bedside manners' exhibited by Dave.

The owner and his crew arrived promptly on the scheduled date and went over the details of what they were going to do and the exact location of each plant. The crew was very careful to protect all of my concrete and grass with sheets of plywood. After the planting and the mulch and edging were complete, they cleaned up the yard and left it in excellent shape. They had about six people on the crew so the whole job was done in about five hours.

From the start, Dave exceeded expectations in terms of punctuality and responsiveness. Whenever I had a question, he always answered in a timely manner and was always professional and courteous. I appreciated his ideas and suggestions that helped to turn my original landscape plan into something more sensible and functional. All of the work was completed in a single week, which was amazing in itself given the size of the project. Integrity arrived promptly on site on day one and immediately started working. As a team, the Integrity contractors worked well together and their attention to detail and craftsmanship is second to none. They all had great attitudes and were polite and professional. I was particularly pleased with the effort they made to clean up the job site after every day. After the project was complete, I was very satisfied with the end result. A project of this scale can make or break a home's appearance and Integrity came through with flying colors!

I have an exposed walkout basement and the foundation is designed to be finished with retaining walls. It is the North side of the house so I was beginning to experience issues with erosion along the foundation and decided it was time to finish. I joined Angie's List specifically to locate a quality contractor and selected Integrity Landscape based on the positive reviews. After initial contact, two representatives came to my home and provided a bid. One thing to note is they made recommendations to have the retaining walls slope down and away from the foundation vs. into the hill as is often what I have seen. They sketched out a diagram to give me an idea and I agreed. They spent about another 15 minutes outside my home and then sent me a proposal via email a few days later. They provided regular updates leading up to the day the work was scheduled to be done. The crew arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. the day the work was scheduled. They put down plywood on the lawn to protect it as they backed their trailer on to it. A few hours later one of the guys who did the original estimate came to the door to provide an update before he left with some of the crew. He explained everything that had taken place and what was left to do. The remaining crew finished around 3:30 p.m. and the foreman came to the door to show me the finished work. The work exceeded my expectations. The walls and attention to detail with the stone and edging were perfect. In addition, the driveway and lawn were spotless - you would not have believed a pile of dirt, pallets of block, dump trucks and loaders were there at all. Bottom line is this company knows what they are doing and take pride in what they do. Highly recommend and will use again for future projects.

They arrived on time. Steve reviewed the job plan with me before and during installation. Any concerns that developed were promptly addressed and resolved. Integrity's friendly team was respectful of my yard while working. They thoroughly cleaned up when done. Everyone involved from the office staff to the installation team were polite and professional. I am very pleased with my new beautiful landscape!

The project went smooth from start to finish. I left for work knowing that they were coming to my house and that I would see the finished product at the end of the day. I can back home to a gorgeous new patio that was exactly how I imagined. My street and driveway were all cleaned up and they left no trace that anybody was even there besides the new patio of course. They worked within my budget and I couldn't be happier. The patio was installed in tight location and they even accounted for having little disturbance or root damage on the large Maple tree adjacent to the patio. They turned what was once wasted space into a valuable usable space that we will use for years to come. I highly recommend Integrity to anyone and my neighbor (who watched the whole project being built) has already asked about using Integrity in a future project based on their professionalism, speed, quality and neatness.

This contractor is a pro from the quote stage to the follow up after the job was done. I would recommend them to anybody. The quote arrived when the said it would, the crew arrived when they said that they would and they were done as promised. The quality was great and the crew was very couteous . This is the second time I have used Integrity for landscaping services and will continue to use them in the future. They spent nearly 1.5 hours with me during the initial visit to talk through the potential project. After I received the quote, Dave came out a day later and spent another 1.5 hours with me, describing in great detail what would be done and answering all of my questions. Three hours of time before I even signed on with them. When I did sign on for the work, they moved me ahead in the schedule because my project involved planting seed in a majority of my frontyard, and it was important to them that this begin yet this year. Great communications from everyone in the office on what was taking place during the day, who was onsite, what was next, etc. They are prompt and always available. There were a lot of crew members onsite, all of which were extremely polite and again willing to walk me through what was completed. Cleaned up well each day before departing. Job performance was great. I had a visual of what it all might look like, but when I saw the finished product, it exceeded my expectations. I had some major grading issues around my home, but with the work that was completed, no longer have to worry about it. I rate Integrity a B on price, only because they can be more expensive than competition; however, you get what you pay for! I've used other landscapers at a previous home, and after a few years hired Integrity to fix what they did. That chain of events will not happen with Integrity. I thank everyone at Integrity for their part in this job and would recommend their services to anyone out there. I already have an appointment to quote out some work for next Spring.

We have had them a couple of times. It went really well. They replaced some dead shrubs. The workers are very good. They are all polite and work really hard. If I had questions, they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They are expensive. I am not sure of using them in the future because of the expense.

They arrived with a crew of about 15 guys and went to work. They completed everything in one day and the results were great. In addition, the crew ripped out some overgrown garden beds and planted grass seed which has grown in very nicely in those areas. They cleaned up after themselves and were very meticulous around the house so not to damage any existing plants as they worked. We had one issue with a small tree that died after it was planted, but Integrity provide additional options for a new tree and promptly came out and replaced it. The landscape looks so good now, and we know if will get better as the plants mature and grow over the years. Integrity was not the cheapest, but we can't argue with the results.

Integrity Landscape did an excellent job of the proposed work in a quick, yet meticulous fashion. It is obvious that everyone works well together and works with extreme efficiency since the work was completed in just over two days. Since we had an older existing wall, Integrity needed to continue the line of the existing wall with the new one. Not only was it difficult to tell where the old wall ended and the new one started, but upon closer inspection one can tell their wall was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately for us, it became evident that the old wall was not installed correctly and will need to be redone. This, of course, has nothing to do with Integrity Landscape, but I am thankful it was brought to my attention so that no further damage will be done. We will, of course, have Integrity correct the old retaining wall. I wouldn't trust the job to another contractor! They take pride in their extreme attention to detail and it will show in the work they do. My only minor complaint was that the steps needed sand filled in the cracks to finalize the project. It is standard work and regular sand was included in our proposal. Since Integrity knows we wanted work to be done at a high level, they proposed a different sand a few day after the work was completed. The polymeric sand requires dry weather (and more money) to do the work, so we had to wait an additional week or so to have the stone steps completely done. The complaint is that I wish I would have been informed of the option between the regular vs. polymeric sand so I could have made the choice right away and not wait potentially as long for the finalization of this big project. HOWEVER, was this minor complaint enough to make me change my mind about Integrity? Absolutely not. I give them straight A's for every category. After all, no one and no contractor is perfect. But Integrity Landscape comes pretty close.

This was not my first experience with Integrity, and again things went beautifully. The work is impeccable and on time. It's amazing the vision the company has, and then delivers. Their professionalism shows in their work. These guys can do anything! I even had them come back and add a little more to the project and they happily came back, at my request, with no extra charge. We plan to budget each year for a project with Integrity to further enhance the beauty of our property. We get compliments on our yard all the time, especially from strangers just walking down the side walk.

Dave came out promptly for the initial consult, and once again at my request to see physical samples of the retaining wall block colors. He is extremely knowledgeable and obviously quite passionate about his work. I gave him a few ideas about what I was looking to do, and what I liked and didn't like. By the end of the consult, he had a design and a proposal drawn up and ready to go as soon as I was. The office staff was pleasant to deal with and good at returning calls. The price was fair and payment terms were standard. It came in slightly above my budget, but the results were worth it. The entire project was completed in one day - these guys didn't mess around - there were constantly guys at work and trucks coming and going. Dave oversaw the entire install personally. I am impressed by Integrity Landscape, and look forward to calling them again to do some work in the back yard.

Excelllent- came on time, worked all day till dark, was mostly completed in 2 days. Hard working crew, polite and did not bother us at all, did exactly what we were told they would do with perfect timing. Could not be happier with results and would recommend to anyone looking for a good landscaping service.

They got the job done within about of week of the request and completed the job in a very professional manner. When they were done they cleaned up the area so well that you could tell they were even there, except for the beautiful vegetation they put in the ground.

It went very well, and finished the project in a day arriving in the morning with 4 trucks. Integrity used 4?x8? plywood sheets from the road to the project site to protect my front lawn from damage of the wheel barrels filled with the heavy rocks used in my new pond, I liked that. These plywood sheets were also used around the project site to protect the existing set stone walk way that would stay in place. I kept my old pond running all winter for the animals that come down for water but the old pond had straight sides and I always worried that if anything fell in they would not be able to get out, in fact I did have a few close calls with a rabbit and a chipmunk and even though I tried to make an area for the Robins to come down and take a bath it was small and not very natural. On the next day after installation I was allowed to fill the pond after the silicone was completely dry around the falls and pump area. The pond installed by integrity was so natural that after filling it up and turning on the pump at 2pm that day, 4 hours later I found a frog sun bathing on one of the rocks by the fall, just making himself at home. I no longer have to worry about any little critters getting stuck in that old big black plastic ?bucket? and not able to get out. The sides of my new natural pond are not only graduated but there is a ledge that goes around about half way up filled with large heavy rocks to stabilize the lining and some smooth

This is the 3rd project they did for us around our house. Each time they go above and behind my expectations. Each time they are pleasant to work with, prompt in responses to questions, and settle any concerns you might have regarding the project. This time Steve stopped by and explained everything to my satisfaction for this project and for future landscaping ideas. Like that they break down our landscaping needs according to budget. For this project, they pitched the grade perfectly away from our house in areas where the grade was pitching towards our house. Didn't realize how bad the areas had sunk until they were finished. What a difference. They also ripped out several overgrown and dead bushes we were growing tired of and selected the perfect amount of and type of plantings as replacements.

We had a low spot between our house and the neighbors. Both house's sump pumps dumped water into the low spot along with gutter output from both houses. There was always standing water in the low spot. Integrity proposed creating a swale with the proper pitch out to the street and piping the sump pumps underground in the swale using ground surface pop-up outlet valves. They also proposed placing drainage pipe underground in the swale to handle the gutter output also with pop-up valves. This work was performed and the swale etc has worked flawlessy for almost a year now. This work was performed in November of 2013 just before the snow fell and stayed. Integrity placed erosion control matting and seeded the swale. In the spring the grass came up and there was no erosion. They fixed a big problem and I couldn't be happier.
