I never really spoke to anyone and there was no follow up by the company regarding the estimate. I was grateful for the estimate as I had contacted over 12 companies and only 4 responded in any way.

+ -1 moreAs soon as the gentleman arrived, he told me they wouldn't have time in their schedule to complete the project all summer (this was in late spring) and he recommended I try someone else. I was very annoyed as this was a waste of my time. He asked if I wanted an estimate on an entire roof replacement and I decided I did want one (although primarily out of curiosity). He spent about 20 minutes taking measurements. He showed me photos and a video he'd taken of the roof, to show me the problem areas. Before he left, he told me that he'd put together an estimate for the roof and that was the last I heard from them. I never received an estimate.

+ -1 moreVery professional. From the moment I called for an estimate to the completion of the work. Josh, the estimator, showed up at precisely the time he said he would. He described the company and it's origins. He explained the product, product options, the installation process, the debris removal process, the work crews and how they operated, the guarantees and warranties, everything one would need to know in order to make an informed decision. Very professional. He also explained that because of the backlog of jobs they had scheduled, he could not give me an exact start date. He gave me an "about date" that turned out to be very close to the actual start date. The work crew was absolutely fantastic. They arrived around 8 a.m. and at 1 or 2 p.m. the job was completely finished. They explained that they had a double crew on this job, and normally it takes two days to complete a job. Each member of the crew knew his job and went about it with clock like precision. When the job was completed, the entire crew did a walk-around the grounds looking for anything that was out of order or had been missed. I was very impressed. This is a 5 star company with the highest recommendation.
Description of Work: Removed and disposed of existing roofing material. Installed ice & water barrier on eaves edges, heavy asphalt saturated felt underlayment and metal color matched valleys. Custom bent and installed aluminum chimney flashing. Removed existing roof venting and installed new continuous ridge venting system. Installed Certainteed dimensional shingles.

+ -1 moreI respect Darryl's expertise and professionalism. I am very impressed with his follow up. I appreciate his willingness to help. I will call Infinity in spring when I can put on a new roof. I did end up calling them back for the work. They put on a new roof on the house and garage, siding on the garage, fascia, and gutters. They were excellent! They cleaned up everyday and the workers were very polite. One guy even came back out on a Saturday to touch up some things. I was so happy that I made him lunch. They had to tear off the whole roof and replace some of the boards. They were careful to protect all of my plants and landscaping.
Description of Work: I called Infinity to see if they could do a repair on my roof, as I had recently had some leakage. Darryl went up on the roof to assess the situation. He took pictures to show me the bad spots, which are not visible from the street. He said that I would probably have a hard time finding a roofing company to do a repair, as I really need a new roof, which I can't do until spring. He said if it were his mom's house, he would do a temporary repair with a bucket of tar. He offered to talk to my handyman and gave me his card with his cell number. My handyman called him and Darryl offered advice on what to do. Darryl then called back to let me know he had talked to my handyman and offered advice on how to patch the roof to get me through the winter.

+ -1 moreSigned proposal on 5/14/08 and roof was installed on 5/29/08. The very professional crew was polite and courteous at all times. They worked from early morning until 6:30 PM. They even nailed down loose shingles on our decorative wishing well in the yard. They used magnet tool to sweep driveway for loose or scattered nails on the ground. We would use this company again and highly recommend to others. Mary Jean Sparks was always very responsive and helpful to all our phone calls and helped us to send appropriate papers to shingle manufacturer for a rebate under warranty.
Description of Work: Removed and disposed of existing original roofing material on house and attached garage. Installed Type II heavy asphalt saturated roofers felt underlayment. Furnished and installed ice and water barriers on all eaves edges and under valley metal and around chimney flashings. F/I new d-style metal edging on gable ends of roof. F/I Braun bath exhaust vent. F/I metal "W" styles color matched valleys. Custom bend and installed aluminum chimney flashing. Install 6 new box vents. F/I certainteed Landmark 30 shingles in Weathered Wood using 1.25 inch roofing nails.

His method sounded just like the very high end estimate I received from another contractor. The job was done as described, on time and I was very pleased with the result. Also enjoyed working with everyone from Infinity.

+ -1 moreThe Infinity crew did a very nice job. Having had roofing done on this home and other properties in the past, I believe that Infinity did an excellent job at a very fair price. I'd been concerned that a low pitch area might again develop leaks through the ice & water shield, because we'd had galvanized nails rust and shrink after being in wet ice damming. Josh agreed to use copper nails in that area to eliminate the possibility of rust. Infinity's 8 man crew completed most of the job in one day, with two men doing the finish work the following day. The dumpster was only here for 24 hours and the crew was careful working around our plants and flowers. Josh agreed to re-pitch a gutter and have it discharge to the opposite side of the house. He also found downspouts to match the siding color rather than using just white downspout material.
Description of Work: Complete removal and replacement of shingles and added layer of rolled roofing over small porch.

+ -1 moreWe had this work done in Feb., we had contracted for the work in December. The weather this winter keep pushing the date of work to be performed back. Josh's, the owner, wife Mary Jean contacted us on a weekly and almost daily basis to let us know if they would be performing the work based on weather conditions. On the initial consultation with Josh, he was very informed and knowledgeable about roofing and answered all of my questions. Both Josh, and Mary Jean were always willing to answer questions and very friendly. The day the work was done, it was completed in one day. We have two dogs and although there was a lot of debris during the completion the men would move stuff so our dogs could go outside etc...The roof looks wonderful and I would recommend them again.
Description of Work: Removed existing roofing on Cape Cod home and detached 2 1/2 car garage. Installed ice and water barrier on eave edges, heavy asphalt roofers felt underlayment, metal edging on gable roof edges, installed aluminum chimney flashing. + 1 moreI contacted Infinity through a referral from someone at work. I scheduled an appointment with the courteous office staff, and Josh arrived on time and was prepared. Josh was very professional and friendly. He explained everything, was able to answer all of our questions, and left us feeling that we knew what to expect. The week before our job was to begin we received a call from the office, informing us about the material and the dumpster deliveries, and the start date for the work. The roof was completed in one day, much to our surprise. The clean up and crew were excellent. The siding and gutters took about a week to finish and turned out great. I was amazed at the amount of work they got done professionally in such a short amount of time. Infinity kept in contact with us during the process to make sure we were happy. The project was completed and we were left with a new home. The neighborhood liked our new look too!!

+ 0 moreThis job started out extremely well. Josh's roof crew tore off and reroofed my home in a day. The new roof was well installed and looked wonderful. The crew was friendly and cleaned up well. I was very impressed with this crew. Then this job went totally wrong. My contract specified new chimney flashing, but the installer cut the old flashing at the roof line, bolted aluminum panels onto the remaining old flashing and installed gobs of caulk in the seams. It looks very poorly done. I had 5 discussions with Josh about the flashing, and he refused to redo it. Then, Josh's gutter guy never reinstalled my gutters and Josh began ignoring my phone calls. Josh ignored six phone calls until I reached his wife. It later took my supervision of Josh and his gutter guy to get the job done. Overall, Josh showed little concern for me as a customer and chose to try and leave me with poor work rather than have his subs do a quality job. He was very unprofessional in dealing with me.
Description of Work: I had a leaking roof, a leaking chimney flashing and improperly installed gutters (improper pitch, installed over drip edge, etc) on my home. Thus, I hired Infinity Roofing to do a 2-layer tear off, install a new roof, install a new chimney flashing and remove and properly install my existing gutters.

+ -1 moreI called Infinity for an estimate. Josh was courteous and prompt. He had the lowest estimate, and provided a high-quality window at a lower price than the big window places. I was able to break our window job into three phases and still get the discount. His subcontractor Dave was also courteous and prompt when he came to measure the windows before they were ordered. Mary Jean took care of everything for our financing. The custom-built windows arrived in a few weeks, and they were able to schedule the installation right away. There was a little confusion on the day of the installation - bad phone numbers, shortage of materials - so the crew was a little late. They installed the windows, but had to come back the next day to finish the outside trim. There was some trouble navigating our front bushes. And there was more dust than I expected in the living room after they were done. The kitchen was fine. Overall, I love my new windows, and I'll be using Infinity to replace 10 more windows.
Description of Work: Replaced two double-hung windows in the kitchen and the bay window in the living room.

Did an excellent job on the roof - plus they were working on a very steep roof. Clean-up was very good. Josh is a very fair businessman - any questions/concerns during the job he is right there - and does the fair and right thing. Would hire Infinity Roofing again. In all our years of homeownership - have never worked with such an honest company. Office person (Josh's wife) is very helpful.

+ -1 moreJosh was personable, professional, qualified and understood the need to take care of the problem the same day. He reduced his normal fee when the job (time & workload) turned out to be smaller than expected. We would definitely contact Josh/Infinity Roofing again.
Description of Work: We had water leaking into our upstairs bathroom down through the exhaust vent. Josh came out the same day we called him to assess the problem and take care of it. He checked the interior ceiling where the leak was occurring. He then went outside and climbed up onto our very high roof and checked the venting area, as well as the area we thought the leak was originating from. He found the problem, cleaned off the snow ( one foot of snow) and ice from our roof and vent area. He explained the situation, made recommendations, etc.

+ -1 moreExcellent. We asked four companies for bids and Infinity was the middle bid. (One refused to even bid. Our roof is pretty unusual and has a very steep slope. Josh didn't let this effect his bid too much, and we greatly appreciated this!) We liked Josh immediately. He was responsive and very helpful in creating a very flexible and detailed bid. We hired them, agreed on a time frame and his crew was kind, professional and efficient. They did an excellent job and were very thorough in their cleanup. We had a leaking problem afterward and Josh sent someone out immediately and it was taken care of. Office staff (Josh's wife) was also extremely helpful in keeping us in contact with Josh and his workers. We were VERY happy with our entire experience with Infinity and highly recommend them.
