+ 0 moreJosh came out, took a look at my current roof, gutters and soffits and provided me with three quotes. One to shingle over existing roof, not recommended and two higher quotes with progressively higher pricing depending on shingles used. I chose the quote based on quality and not just price. I also received a discount because the shingle I wanted was in stock at a better price than if Josh had to order shingles. I will say that I had 5 quotes from various companies ranging from $23,000 (just the roof) down to $9500 (just the roof). Infinity and 2 other companies were more reasonable and without sacrificing quality. The biggest thing for me was the fact that Josh was very honest with me and I trusted him. The roof was torn off and a new roof installed within 1 day. When I got home from work, my neighbor came over and told me how impressed he was with the work being done. How there were a lot of guys taking the old roof off and how quickly they installed the new roof. The new roof looked fantastic. The gutters and soffits/fascia were installed a few days later. I did have to have them come out once more because a few of the downspouts were not long enough and ended on my sidewalk. These were replaced without issue. I am very please with the work done, the cost and how quickly this project was completed. I have recommended Infinity to others looking to replace their roofs.
Description of Work: Complete tear off and replacement of roof and gutters. Ridge vent installation and new gutters, downspouts and soffit/fascia. Large roof due to it being a ranch with attached garage.

+ -1 moreIn our first meeting at my house, they did a thorough inspection before providing me the estimate. After our discussion, I had my questions answered and it seemed they were properly addressing what was needed. The price was comparable to other estimates and the warranties were tops among other offers. I awarded them the contract a few days later. They completed the job in 1 day, on a Friday. They ran out of corner shingles, installing temporary shingles, and said they'd return Monday to finish. They did return on Monday and finished the corners. The dumpster was placed in my back yard (easy access to alley) and was picked up by the date I was told. Plywood was placed on my lawn to protect it from the dumpster. It went excellently!
Description of Work: Removed old shingles, flashing, roof vents, etc. Installed new shingles, flashing, roof vents, etc. New roof on 1.5 cape cod house, and 2-car detached garage. Replaced old house roof vents with ridge line vent, and installed new inlet vents that house never had before to upgrade to current building code. Added 2 more garage roof vents as home owner requested. Workmanship and final product far better than previous owner's contractor. Infinity Exteriors properly installed the roof, fixing previous contractor's poor work. I'm glad to have a properly installed roof so the next owner does not have the worries and issues I had.

I have been in my house for some years now and the entire time I have lived here there has been consitant problems with the roof. I have had multiple contractors come out to try and help me with my problem and not one single company save Infinity Exteriors was able to fix my problems. My previous roof was installed incorrectly the company that installed the roof the first time was all sub contracted and they did not install it correctly. I had leaking, ice damning and issues with slow leaks coming into my attic. Infinity's well trained staff was able to help me solve the problems I was having. They were really able to give me peace of mind I know I can trust the cradtsmanship the knowledge and the quality of Infinity's top notch customer service. I will definetly be having them install my windows for me next season.

+ -1 moreIt was fantastic. A giant crew (maybe 12-15 guys) arrived at about 7:00 in the morning and simply swarmed the roof, raising a great ruckus and making a giant mess. It put me in mind of those old cartoons where you see frantic action inside clouds of dust, accompanied by all sort of construction noises. Then before 3:00 in the afternoon they were completely done. I was amazed at how well they cleaned up--I never found so much as a single scrap of shingle or a single roofing nail in the yard. It was pristine. It did cost a little more than some other estimates I got, but I felt the good craftsmanship and good service was worth it. I was very happy with the job they did and especially delighted at how fast the job was completed and how well they cleaned up after themselves. I not only would recommend them, I have, to a number of people. I have zero connection to the company, don't know anyone who works for them and haven't had any other work done by them. I found them on Angie's List.

I did ask a couple of follow-up questions, and I never heard back from them. We have decided to go with the other contractor that we had used in the past anyway, so, we would not pursue it any further. Their quote was fair, and we would probably have them give us a quote in the future.

They did exactly as they said they would do. It was fun to see the crew work. They were very energetic and stayed on the job until it finished. They cleaned up very well and made sure to protect our plants around the house. They cleaned up each day they were there. At the end when the job was finished the general manager came out and made sure any minor issues were taken care of for us.

+ 1 moreOverall they did a good job. I would have liked for them to find the reason for the leak in the beginning. After a new roof was put on, the original leak remained and it was determined that it was a siding problem. The roof trim siding job was ok. I would have liked for longer siding pieces to be longer so that it would not appear as choppy. I do understand that it was a difficult roof job. A window was broken, but they took care of what they were responsible for. They did come out and check several times on the job which was nice. We were not completely happy with the job of the subcontractor.
Description of Work: They installed a new roof due to a leak and eventually came back because the leak remained. We found that it was actually a trim siding problem. They subcontracted for gutters and downspouts.

+ 0 moreOverall, they did a good job. I don't doubt that our roof was a challenge, but they knew this going in, so they should plan accordingly. I was not happy with the laziness that the crew displayed as the first week progressed. The job was just not getting done. I was not happy with the tarping they needed to do, as I was told they would only remove what they could replace in one day. I was not happy with them breaking (ripped right off the house) our main entry light/lantern and then hiding from us until i had to inquire as to where it was and why some guy had it in the trunk of his car. I was not happy about the change in foreman, but the new person did get things done and rectified some problems. Overall the new roof looks great, it's functional.... which is the important part. The gutters seems to work properly, 1 small area where debris gets caught, and should've been a better design, but overall I'm happy with the finished product. I'd recommend them, but keep on top of their foreman, go through the job each evening and get explanations of the activities that are occurring.
Description of Work: We had a full roof tear off, re-decking, and replacement of asphalt shingles completed. They also did all new gutters and down spouts. Our roof is very steep and many changes in pitch and angles. They spent a full 2+ weeks on the job, plus 4 additional days to complete the gutter work. The tear-off was of 3 layers of asphalt shingles. They did have some minor fixes of the roof boards and put down new decking throughout. They also completed new rubber decking on 2 sizable flat surfaces of the roof. Our original estimate of timing was 5-7 days to complete the work, we should've known this was not feasible. The job started promptly when they said it would, crew started on a Monday around 7:30am... i recall them looking 'amazed' at what they had to tackle... some of them saying in spanish my God. As the week went on, the start time got later and later... I finally called on Thursday when they were not starting until well after 9am and the job wasn't progress as I thought it should... the foreman also let me know it would not be completed in the time frame promised. Week 2, more progress was made, but not enough. I complained that the roof was exposed and they had not tarped and storms were predicted. The front-office ensured me that they only rip off what they can replace in a single day to avoid tarpping... that was not the case with our house. They did end up tarpping for that evening and we did have huge storms which we could hear the tarps flapping in the wind like a Lionel Richie song... all night long! Needless to say I call again on Friday. When I reviewed the job site that Friday, I was greeted by a new foreman.. stating that the previous one had quite. Great! I was also then informed that they had damaged some of the wood siding on our house, but would replace/fix it. I inquired at to where my front light was.... as they had destroyed it and then taken it to try and repair/replace without telling me. Very Unprofessional! Nonetheless, we took the broken light back and had it repaired on our own, Infinity did pay for that cost. But very frustrating to have that issue... .made us wonder what else were we not informed about. Eventually they did finish the job and did a good job cleaning up.... Cleaning up, they did a good job each night, which is critical with the number of nails that come out and go into a roof. The gutter team did a good job, but one of our gutters does hang a little low... no biggie.

+ 1 moreThey were very nice, Aron Dagurdef, the staff came out and loooked out everything and showed me the good, better, and best things and recommended me with what we needed in our house. He explained everything about all. With the gutters, I had questions because we have a tree with small leaves and they explained how the gutters reveal the original because it is 57 years old and we have two statues in the house, one in the house and one in the garage and he recommended to put covers over. He was very nice, I do not know about stuff in the house and the he was very patient with all my questions.

+ 0 moreFrankly, I felt it would be difficult to locate a roofer that could replace my wood shingle roof with a heavy asphalt roof and provide the quality workmanship and care that I painstakingly negotiated as the General Contractor of my home. I have a reputation for anticipating problems in order to avoid issues down the road. Therefore, I seek only very talented individuals/companies that provide the skills to go beyond the scope of the project and offer quality problem solving solutions. Another consideration was installation time. Since this is a relatively large roof I found that some roofing companies had much smaller crews and offered a longer installation time. Infinity promised roof completion in 6 days (plus 1 day for gutters) and they met that timeline. This was another reason why I chose Infinity Roofing because they are a large dependable well organized business. Office staff provided detailed notice of advance preparation and installation dates. My calls were promptly returned which was a stark contrast to other company's. In addition, their roofers are certified by the shingle manufacture which guarantees my roof for a 50 year warranty with transfer options for the next owner. My high expectations and the quality of work were exceeded by Infinity Roofing. They completed the work on time and the workmanship was coupled with value added approaches by a foreman who lead extremely qualified roofers. The new gutters were installed by their own qualified gutter crew which avoided dealing with outsourcing to another company. In addition, shrubs flowers, windows/ doors and air conditioners were covered and protected. Since then I've received numerous compliments and inquiries which speaks to Infinity's outstanding quality. Efficiency and quality workmanship accompanied by courtesy is a rare combination in today's world. I highly recommended Infinity Roofing.

+ -1 moreAaron came out and gave us an estimate. He was on time and polite. There were however several problems. First they could not give an exact date that the workers would be coming to do the work. I wanted to be there to see how bad it was before they started installing the new soffit. Also in the contract and discussion during the estimate it was stated that on the front of the house they would remove the soffit from under the front porch area to see if it was related to the attic and if it was they would also replace that with the vented soffit. When the workers arrived they stated they were not able to do that because if they did that part, they would have to do the entire garage area also due to a different size channel the new soffit would fit in. Also the contract stated that if I wanted to go with the higher end "TRU Vent" system to add X amount of dollars to the estimate, which I did not do. When the workers arrived they had the TRU Vent system only on the truck. When we called Aaron he said this was included in the price he quoted. (the contract was pretty clear, I thought). All in all the workers that did the job did very good work and we were happy with them. In the end we did not get the front porch area done as I was expecting and quoted. Not sure if the problems were misunderstandings or deception.
Description of Work: Our attic was not getting enough air inflow so had Infinity come out and open up the soffit openings and replace all of the soffit with vented soffit.

+ 0 moreMy initial contact with Infinity began in mid -July with a call to their office. My contact was based on the recommendation of a friend. I could have met with Josh for an estimate within 24 hours had my schedule allowed it. As it was, we met several days later. Once I decided to go with Infinity, the job was scheduled and completed within about a one week period. I was given the estimate that my job would be completed in one day and it was. I was contacted the day before the installation and service was provided the next day. I was present during the entire installation. The crew of workers arrived about 7:00 a.m. and work promptly began. The workers all acted in a very professional manner. There was no use of inappropriate language or loud music by the workers. Everyone seemed to know their tasks and went about the job efficiently. They used huge tarps and wooden planks to protect my plantings and landscape. Once the actual roofing and gutter work was completed the crew proceeded to do the clean up. They meticulously cleaned up the lawns and driveway of any and all debris using magnets, brooms, sweepers, etc. I don't think my driveway has ever been as clean as it was when the crew from Infinity finished! The bill for the job was exactly the same as the estimate I was given. One other little story about my project that I believe shows the care and concern of Josh, the owner of Infinity. On the day that I met with Josh about the estimate, he initially went up on my roof to inspect, measure, and provide the information for my estimate. Josh showed me pictures of what my actual roof looked like and pointed out one particular place around my chimney where the two existing layers of shingles had worn away leaving the potential for major leaking issues. Fortunately it had been an extremely dry summer and I had not had any interior water leaking or damage. Josh later went back up on the roof and put up a temporary patch on that area of the roof just in case there were rain storms before the re-roofing project could be completed. That act says to me that Josh and his company are dedicated to serving their customers and ensuring that the customer has the most positive experience possible!
Description of Work: I had a new roof and gutter covers installed on my 1960's ranch home by Infinity Exteriors and could not be more pleased with the entire process. From start to finish, everything was completed exactly as promised in a professional and timely fashion. My roof required a tear-off and so I had a dumpster stationed in my driveway for no more than 24 hours. From my first call to the Infinity office and conversation with the receptionist, to my appointment with Josh for an estimate, to the 9-10 member installation crew headed by Tony, to the clean up and next day follow up call from the office, absolutely EVERYTHING was done to my satisfaction. I could not have had a better experience!

+ -1 moreThis story has a good part and a bad part, I will start with the good. Infinity Exteriors hit a home run installing the black rubber roof on both of my second story porches. They went above and beyond as far as installing my new rubber roof material. The corners are all neatly tucked and well integrated into the edge of the house. There is not a drop of spilled adhesive anywhere and you can tell they knew what they were doing. This is why I was so disappointed when I came home and the 4X4" posts that they installed for my new railing on top of the roof were so wobbly. A 20lb force horizontally would have torn them right out. This is unacceptable for a safety railing. I called to express my concern and the job foreman mentioned that he screwed the posts into the plywood roofing and did not hit any floor joists when attaching the posts. He told me this was standard practice. I was appalled that somebody would install a safety railing and not attach it to a structural member. I installed the railing to see if that would stabilize things, but it did not help nearly enough. I wrote to Infinity and expressed my concerns again and they promised me they would make the posts more stable. A few weeks later, they cam out again and installed some angle braces to stabilize the railing. I wish they would have done the job right the first time and bolted the posts to a floor joist. I must say that everybody at Infinity was VERY professional throughout the entire project. This is the reason I would consider using them again in the future. They made a mistake, but did not stop working until it was fixed.
Description of Work: Infinity Exteriors removed an asphalt roof and railing on my front and rear second story porches. They installed a black rubber roof and integrated new 4" X 4" wooden posts into the new roofing so that I could install my own wooden railing.

Description of Work: The reasons we went with this company was they were not only very competitive in pricing but they could do all the work we needed. We needed masonry on the chimney - carpentry on a area of the roof (there was a section of the roof that dipped badly) an antenna had to be removed, a old chimney pipe removed (that used to be for a wood burning stove in the garage that was there when we purchased the home) the hole had to be sealed off and leveled with the rest of the roof and this company could do the carpentry - masonry - plus a complete tear off of the roof , new gutters installed, new air vents and fascia that needed to be replaced and some fascia needed repair, we wanted a chimney cover to prevent birds from going in the chimney. Our crew chief was Tony but all of the men were very professional and I think the carpenters name was Mike he answered all of our questions through out the entire process. They explained every thing in terms any one would be able to understand. The company had someone come over a few weeks after the work was completed and inspect the work we were gone but they left us a note. I would highly recommend this company to any one. The completed 95% of the work in one day they had 2 hours roughly the next day to finish the job. We did not want huge dumpster for several reason and they put a portable dump trailer there for one day only. They cleaned up great and took extra care protect our plants, shrubs, trees and bird feeders. We also had this company do some repair work on our duplex and they manage to complete the work at half of the orignial estimate.

+ -1 moreThe estimate went very well and we were given a ballpark of when the work would be done. There was some confusion in the final communication as to when the shingles would be delivered and when work would start. I ended up having to call a couple of times to find out when it would be. The crew arrived her bright and early and set off to work. They took extraordinary care of my landscape plantings and landscape lights. The crew built plywood huts over bushes and light to protect them from damage. Other than I couple of hostas looking a bit stepped one (they recovered nicely from any abuse) everything was safe and sound. They expected the work to take up to 2 days but it took just a bit longer due to weather conditions. Infinity picked up nearly every nail (I only found 3 which were stuck in very odd places) and picked up all of the debris (and there was lot of it). We had the premium install so they replaced all the metal edgings that were on the gable ends of the roof and did an absolutely wonderful job installing new flashing around our huge chimney. The only little glitch was regarding our Radon Exhaust system. It is a fan directly under the vent that exits onto the roof. Debris during the tear off got down into the fan. The foreman, Michael, unplugged the unit when I told him there was a problem and emptied the fan of any debris. The fan is still working, however it is very noisy where before it was whisper quiet. Infinity must not have run into Radon Vents before, so my advice is if you have a Radon Exhaust System, you need to unplug it and have the roofers cover the vent to prevent debris getting into the fan during the tear off. After the work was completed Michael did a walk around with us and the roof looked great. All of the metal work matched perfectly and looked so professional. The next day, you never would have guessed that the roof had just been replaced because everything around the house looked the same as before except for the beautiful new roof. The Infinity crew are the best. A couple of times when I had to ask them a question they were all so nice and helpful. Being in the house the whole time, we could hear some of their conversations and could tell that some serious teaching of less experienced staff was going on. Their work and professionalism surpassed my expectations.
Description of Work: Tear off of 2 layers of shingles down to wood deck. Inspected decking and repaired as needed. Furnish and installed new 3 feet of Ice & Water barrier, asphalt underlayment, starter shingles, new d-style metal edging on gable ends, new W style valley metal, new sewer vent pipe flashings, 4 new exhaust roof flashings, new shingles, 6 new air vents and custom bend and install new 2-piece chimney flashing cut into stone.
