Ideal Plumbing Heating AC & Friese Mueller Service

Rep arrived on time and got right to work. The problem was with the floor drain, so he had to clean this out. I also asked if he could replace the drain pipe under the sink as I noticed it was cracked after I had called in for service. He kindly replaced it. The entire job took 45 minutes.

It went okay. The only downfall was that the equipment used was very heavy and the rep had a hard time getting it in and out of the house, not to mention up and down the stairs. I was also charged an additional $25 for the equipment, and this was not mentioned to me upfront. This is why I gave the price a "C" grade.

I use them a lot and have been using them for years. They are dependable, give me a discount and I trust them. Their work has not totally been perfect; sometimes we have had some of their people over here that have done minor little things but overall I'd say they do a pretty decent job and I would probably call them again. I think their price is reasonable and they are a lot cheaper than the emergency plumbing guys. We have had a few slip-ups; they are not perfect but they are pretty good.

I don't think anyone could have done the repair needed.

I thought it went well overall at first though they told us the pipes would need replacing. it didn't take long for the basement to flood again (within a couple of weeks I think). their estimate seemed high so we called around to try and get a lower price. we had someone else clear out the pipes, put a camera down and tell us they were fine. the problem was that there were many more tree roots to be cleared out because there were two sides to go at it from and Ideal had gone in from only one. in other words they did an incomplete job and told us the problem was something much more expensive than it was. we will never be using this company again.

Everything went very well I called up Ideal Plumbing, Heating and AC. Frank set up an appt and was on time and quick to get back to me with the proposal/estimate. I would recommend this company.

They were very prompt and courteous with my email request. Gave me a quote, and stuck to it, no hidden charges. They got someone over the very next day that I very much appreciated. The installer was on time and courteous. My only compliant was that he did not clean up his mess. The wood shavings from the whole drilled were left behind and metal shavings from the pipes and other odds and ends were left behind. I have pets and it was a big concern to make sure that everything was cleaned up so they didn't get hurt by anything. If the work area was cleaned after the job I would have gladly given them an A rating. The actual workmanship and craftsmanship was beyond reproach.

Very accomodaing with scheduling - as I had to take off from work to have both places taken care of the same day. Home 1 is up for sale and needed to have the leaky faucet addressed. Tom was very professional. Explained the work at both places. . Made recommendations on what to do if future problems with the drainage occur at home #2 (older home). Made sure the surrounding area was protected with plastic sheeting when working on the tub drain from the basement area. Price was reasonable and fair and I am very satisfied with the work.

I have used Ideal Plumbing and Heating previously, but always for furnace issues. This was my first experience w/ the plumbing services. Mike was excellent. He was able to come earlier than scheduled, so he called me. When I made my appt, I only mentioned 2 leaky problems, but I told Mike about a 3rd issue that involved reconfiguring a kitchen faucet and he fixed all of them. Mike was very efficient and informative in that he gave me tips on how to prevent the problems from happening again. He was in and out within the hour. The price was reasonable. I will definitely use Ideal and Friese Mueller again for both plumbing and heating services. Great experience.

I contacted this company to come out and check our central air system because it wasn't working. The technician that came out found a low voltage wire that had been chewed through by an animal and replaced it. They also replaced the batteries, which I gave them, in the thermostat. He said everything else was fine, I paid the bill and he left.A day or so later, during the midst of a heat wave, we noticed the air coming out of the vents to not be cold and the house getting warmer inside than what the thermostat had been set for. I called this company back and explained the situation.They sent someone out the next afternoon which was appreciated. The new technician found the compressor defective and not pumping the refrigerant through the system. He said the unit was done and needed replacement.I wanted to put this out there as a revision because, although this company was prompt in sending someone else out to check the system, the compressor is one of the main parts of the system and this should have been caught during the original call. Had the problem been diagnosed correctly, there would have been no need to replace the wire and the call may not have cost as much as it did.

We went with IDEAL because they were able to come out the day we called, which was important to us. The technician was professional and came within the designated time frame. Everything seems to be working just fine right now. The reason I would not go with this company again, or at least try someone else first, is simply due to the price. We had basically the same service completed last year for literally half the price.

The technician called about twenty minutes before he arrived to alert me he was on his way. He was very friendly and professional. He got right to diagnosing the problem. He replaced the batteries in the thermostat and then checked the unit outside. He found a wire had been chewed on by an animal as being the source of the problem. He was here for about an hour, explained how the unit worked and even advised on how to protect it from my dogs.I will definitely call them again to tune up the furnace before winter.

I just read one of the comments on Angie's List and they were in our area. The service was very good. He was very polite and efficient. He got in and got out.

We received very thorough information and although we did not select them we were very pleased with their responsiveness. I sent them an email and they responded very quickly. I called them and I spoke to someone who immediately gave me the information I needed and also some extra information. I was very pleased with them and plan to keep them on the list if we need any work done in the future.

I called IDEAL at Noon on a Tuesday, they arrived by 2:30pm and called ahead of time.Mike Meyer diagnosed the problem quickly, explained the issue and then got to work immediately. Not only did Mike do the job quickly, but he explained what he was doing along the way and also gave me helpful hints on other 'plumbing' maintenance items I should be performing going foward. Within 30 minutes the work was complete and I was 100% satisfied.

They took care of everything and were very prompt. Very pleasand to work with and they gave us a good price.

They were prompt and did a good job. We have used them before many times for various plumbing repairs, including routing out our sewer line to the street, which has a problem with tree roots growing into it. Their work is always prompt and professional. I would call them again for anything related to plumbing and heating, or their sister company Pieper Electric for electrical.

Mike was punctual and efficient. He finished the job in aprox. one hour. He removed the old water heater and cleaned up the area. I specially appreciated the time he spent going over the operation and upkeep of the new unit.

The phone contact was very professional yesterday. Today (day of appt.) the plumer called to see what he may need to bring. He was very punctual, pleasant and professional. Got the job done, and became my dog's new best friend.

The work is good. Before I was a member of Angie's list, I used a different company and I was not happy with them. I felt like they over charged. I feel like Ideal's rates are fair.

After installing new granite countertops, we had a handyman install a new dishwasher anda new faucet in our sink in a new home. We had trouble within 5 minutes after he walked out of the door. I had a feeling that the handyman just didn't have enough expertise to do the job we needed. Rather than call him back, I researched plumbers in my neighborhood on Angie's List and called Ideal plumbing. Mike came within 2 hours of when I called. He knew exactly what was wrong and was able to fix it. He was very knowledgeable and gave me options before he did the work. He was right on with his estimate. He was very friendly and and very helpful. He gave me advice about my new home and the plumbling in it. When he left, my sink and cabinet were as clean as If I had cleaned them. I would trust Mike with any plumbing problem that I have.

Our old unit died and they came over, gave us an estimate and did the work as was agreed. It was done professionally and efficiently in less than 1/2 a day.
