A few issues, however, I still have to contact the company to discuss. I was quoted $685 but received a bill for $740. I was also told that their tech would be there between 9 am and 10 am...he showed up after 1 pm, after I called the office several times to find out where he was.

I thought they did a great job for us. Their prices are great.

Excellent. Cannot say enough about this company. Bill called back with a quote within 15 minutes (rare for a company to give an over the phone quote). Plumber arrived at exact time appointment was scheduled for. Excellent service, excellent price. Have found an honest plumber and will use Friese-Mueller whenever plumbing services are needed.

They are the terrific. The workmanship is wonderful. The guys know what they are doing. I have never had any problems.

They were very responsive and worked with my schedule to get the job done quickly. The plumber was very friendly and thorough. In addition to the water heater, he replaced some pipes and fittings around it to bring it up to code. When I got home later that day, the work was done, the area was clean, and he even fixed the aerator on my bathroom faucet (which I didn't even ask for). He showed up a little bit late, but I'll definitely hire these guys again.

John arrived on time and went to work promptly. He drained the old water heater while he replaced the main shut off valve. He was very polite and professional. He spent a total of 3 hours performing the needed work and cleaned up after himself. When done with his work, he filled out a form indicating what work he had done and parts used. John told me the office would send me a bill in a few days. I realized about a half hour later that I had completely forgotten to get a copy of the invoice which John had me sign. A few days later I received a bill in the mail. I noticed that I was being charged $800 to furnish and install the hot water heater. I had been verbally quoted $700 prior to installation, based on a sale price from Menard's. I called and spoke with Bill, who accepted my word and modified the bill accordingly. I would definitely use this company again.

John was very punctual and worked very quickly. He had to come back a second time as he didn't have a T-pipe section that he needed. Both visits he was there for 30 minutes. After replacing the T-pipe, a few days later the other end of the pipe started to leak, most likely from all the jarring when he replaced the other end. I called them back and again he completed the job in 30 minutes. I thought the price was high but the service and quality were excellent. Ninety minutes of actual work time plus one section of copper pipe (about 3 ft.) was $350; I guess that must include travel time as well. I'm not sure if the third visit was considered a separate call, which may be why the price was higher than expected.

They were very professional. They came in, were very punctual, did the work in a timely manner, and even hauled away the old toilet for us as well.

Bill is always a delight to talk with, but very knowledgable and helpful too. Our water heater quit on Friday morning, and it took me most of the day to research and make a decision on the replacement for it. The warehouse didn't have in-stock what I wanted, but Bill worked with me to get the next best thing. They came the next morning (Saturday) and installed the unit at their usual weekday rates, which I appreciated. I could have gotten something else for less elsewhere, but I know I wouldn't have gotten the service Friese-Mueller gave me, and I would have been waiting till Monday or Tuesday at the earliest.

The employee of Friese-Mueller arrived 15 minutes early, which didn't pose a problem for me. He explained that his day was "very busy" so he wanted to get started quickly. This may explain why he seemed to rush through the job and failed to clean up adequately. For example, he even left some of his materials behind. Otherwise, the job was done well and I haven't experienced any problems. There was a problem with my billing. I was charged for the installation of new valves although this was never quoted or explained to me. Furthermore, only one of the 2 valves was actually new. This issue was resolved by calling their office directly; the charges were waived.

Very friendly when I called, but when the plumber was more than an hour late without calling and I called to find out where he was, the voice on the end of the line was not so friendly. Nor did he apologize. The plumber came and simply removed hot and cold water knobs and replace with cut off valve in bathroom, then told us it would cost $400 to adjust drain in claw foot tub when we put new floor in. After consulting with other plumbers, that $400 was way above the average. The plumber also told us we needed a new drain which turned out not to be true. They charge above average for below average work. I wouldn't hire this company again.

On time and finished in about an hour. Also removed old water heater. Quoted three plumbers. Had a great discount for using Angie's List

Paul and his crew showed up on time, got the job done within a couple of days, and did a great job. We've used them in the past and will continue using them in the future. I would recommend them to anyone.

Pleasant on the phone. Clear pricing on the phone. Fast service. Called in the morning. They were fairly flexible with our schedule. Work was completed the same day.

Friese-Mueller removed our old water heater and installed a new one for us. They were very polite, professional, timely and clean in the work that they did. We have been very pleased with the outcome.

Our experience was GREAT! The guy who came to our home was very polite, kind and knowledgeable. He advised us to just have the faucet repaired, rather than replacing the whole thing at the rate he was working at. He said we could have someone come out during regular business hours to replace the whole faucet if we wanted them to, but it would be more cost-effective to just have the faucet repaired at the higher Sunday evening rate.

Was pleased with the work, as they came back right away to fix exhaust pipe, that was not done correctly the first time. They came when they said they would and got done quickly. Have a plumber there that can work on OLD historic houses like ours. He is good. Has worked all over the neighborhood!

Bob was prompt, polite, efficient and did the replacement work in less than 45 minutes. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. All my questions were answered. I thought the price was steep, even with the senior discount since it was not a complicated job, those parts are not expensive and the job did not take very long to complete.

Very prompt service. Workman removed old heater one day after phone call to company. Came back immediately, on request, to check a problem that required no service.

The plumber from Friese-Mueller was very professional. He was on time. He did a thorough inspection of the entire plumbing system and answered all of my questions during the inspection. He was complementary of the work completed. He did point out a code violation and gave me a an approximate cost to modify the plumbing. The inspection took him less than 1/2 hr to complete. Within 24 hrs I received an official quote that was very close to the original estimate. I felt very confident I had a solid plumbing system after the inspection.

Fine. Removed old heater, explained everything did, cleaned up afterward. After workman left, we thought we smelled gas and called the company. Workman returned at once and made thorough check, made sure installation was all proper. Can't comment on price - didn't get any other estimates.

C ON PRICE MEANS IT WAS A LITTLE HIGH.

Excellent work and done in an extremely timely manner. Next day service in fact. Only downside was the worker spilled some of old water from the old water heater in the storage room and carpet upon removal leaving a removable stain.

The servicemen were professional and completed the work efficiently. I just let them in and an hour and a half later I had a new water heater with no mess. The water heater had a tiny dent, and the serviceman noticed it and asked if I would require another unit, and I declined. After I received the invoice, I noticed they gave me a $20 ''scratch and dent'' discount.
