Ideal Plumbing Heating AC & Friese Mueller Service

Their price was $149, it was too high and I will not be using them.

The plumber arrived on time and went to work. After about an hour a second gentleman arrived with the water heaters and the plumber continued on. He worked through the morning and was done a little after noon. All went well.

Excellent service, very prompt and very nice to work with. The price was fair.

Excellent, all jobs were performed beyond my satisfaction and all repairs are holding up just fine several months later. The plumber was very flexible with me asking him to look at several different things, and he got them all repaired relatively quickly. The price was perhaps just a bit higher than I was planning on spending, but I believe it was a perfectly fair price for the work that was done. I'll put "original estimate" was right on because I had them perform jobs in addition to original estimate (which was for the clogged drain).

They are very honest and polite and cleaned up the mess and we would recommend them to any one they are high but very knowledgeable and do a wonderful job.

I called them and they came over the next day to fix it. My experience with them was very good. They come first thing in the morning. They said something could rupture and cause quite a mess.

Extremely responsive to an immediate need. Came within a day of our call but the person who was supposed to come tried to arrive earlier than the appointment time and we were not home. To his credit he called and said someone else would come at the appointment time instead. That person arrived on time but was in and out of the condo many times; once for over 20 minutes. One time he did explain that he needed a non-standard part and had to go purchase it, but he was at his car many times over the course of the work. Since it is a condo I was concerned about him leaving the main door open to get in and out. He said "Oh no one is home, you should not worry". I found that unsettling. The work was fine and I think the price was competitive (included the cost of the disposal) but the plumber did make me uncomfortable. I wish I had his name to share. I believe it was Tim.

They came out within days of the first call. They were very prompt and courteous.

They were prompt, the work was good, the price was good and the clean up was good. I even got two other estimates at the time and I think they were right in the middle. I would use them again.

He worked hard, and part of the problem was the liquid plumber. He ended up coming back today and spending all morning here cutting out and replacing pipes. The water now flows freely - thank goodness. It has never been quite this good! We are happy with the work he did. It was a bit of a messy fix - clean up left a little to be desired.

We returned from vacation to discover that our water heater had gone out and was leaking. I called early on New Years Eve day expecting that I would not be able to get a water heater installed until after New Years. To my delight they had an installer out to my house with a new water heater within 3 hours. They did not charge extra for the installation given the short notice or that it was a holiday. Mike did a great job installing the new water heater and removing the old one. He went over the settings and the process of lighting the pilot on the new water heater. I was charged exactly what I was quoted on the phone. It cost me the same or a little less for the heater and installation than it would have cost me at two of the big box stores I checked out the night before and I got a much better rated water heater and professional installation. I will call them the next time I have plumbing needs.

I was very pleased. The work is holding, and have not had any problems since then. The drain had been running badly, I thought there was a clog, but when he finished with the plumbing work it drained wonderfully.

They didn't even send a plumber they sent someone from a different service company. They took a snake through the pipe and put a hole in it. He then left and said someone would be back to fix it. A few days later we called and they sent someone else out to fix it the pipe and when he got to out house he said "yup you have a leak" and said that it was not their fault. They tried to charge us for the piece they broke. It was very frustrating. It was $110 for the drain clog and they tried to charge another $50 to fix what they broke.

When I called for service, I was told to leave a message, but unfortunately no one returned my call. This has never happened before, so I didn't get upset. I called back late afternoon, and the appointment was made and was even asked if it was an emergency. The plumber was on time, looked at the problem I was having and discussed options. I could have had a repair, which I already had once already, or replace the unit. I have another unit (duplex) that was the same age, so we decided to replace both. He had to go to the supplier for them and said he would be back in 1/2 hour. He was back at that time. He did a great job, and cleaned the area. He was explanatory and very pleasant. He worked straight through until the job was done.

Overall, very satisfied. Although I called Friese-Mueller, I was told later they were bought out by Ideal. The woman on the initial phone call explained the rates in great detail, which was nice. Pete was very polite and professional and arrived on time (I was given the option of a set appointment time or a time range). Pete put down a big blanket on the floor and tub to keep things clean which I appreciated. After fixing the initial problem, I noticed that the faucet was dripping. I had Pete's cell phone number and called him and told him. He came out within three hours and replaced a second part. He did not charge an extra service charge. The shower now works great.

We were very impressed with the work that Friese Mueller did. All aspects of the job were done professionally and promptly. Phone calls were returned promptly. Questions were answered in a clear, concise manner. We were extremely impressed with the contractor that Friese Mueller sent. John was a hard worker and showed up on time when he said he was going to. John also coordinated the work that he did with the plumber and electrician so that the job went smoothly. The attention to detail was great as well as the desire to make sure that we were happy with the work done. Overall, we were so pleased with the completed work that we would recommend Friese Mueller for any bathroom remodel.

The plumber was very friendly and professional. He did a great job, in a short amount of time, and cleaned everything up afterwards!

This is an old large house, it had no cleanout. When they got there, they were unable to start because there was no cleanout plug and they were only drain cleaners, not plumbers. They said they could call and get one right away though. I offered to cut the main stack and repair it afterwards, they agreed. I cut open the pipe, and they started. They worked hard, and had to connect two machines together as the clog was 115 feet down the pipe. It took awhile but they got it. They were nice and worked hard. I was surprised that they were unprepared to cut and repair the pipe, but then most homes have the cleanout plug. No idea how much it would have cost if I hadn't been able to do the plumbing myself, but $150 for what they did do was an excellent deal. I would definitely go with these guys again if I ever needed a plumber or drain service.

The plumber came at the appointed time and cleared the shower drain very quickly.

I was very satisfied with their work. They got it done in a timely manner, they were very friendly, and I was satisfied with their work.

Steve showed up on time and got right to work. He did a great job, but misdiagnosed the reason for the slow flushing. He had their drain cleaning people come out for something he could have taken care of himself (at least that's what the drain guy said). It turned out to be a good thing because I needed another drain snaked anyway. Overall, I was pleased and would use them again.

They were 10 minutes early, charged what they said, did the job efficiently and professionally. Cleaned up before they left. Both telephone person and 2 men who came out were very friendly and professional. Use them! Keep up the friendly approach and good work.

They've done work for me in the past and do an excellent job! I'd recommend them to everyone!

Friese-Mueller said they had 4 water heater models to choose from, but ''all of them are about the same, even the most expensive.'' Why they'd stock 4 models all roughly the same, I know not. None had more than a 6 year warranty. Called them at 8, by 10:30, they'd arrived with a new 40 gallon tank. Within about 90 minutes, they'd removed my old tank and installed the new, with a new gas valve. My one small complaint, was that they had the old tank mostly drained, but it was leaking rusty water. They said they'd ''bag'' the tank so it wouldn't spill on my carpet. Needless to say, it leaked rusty water all the way up the stairs. I should also note, that after they left, we noticed the cold water fitting was leaking! I called them back, and within 90 minutes, they were back, re-soldering the joint. Probably should have gotten that right the first time! In the end, I was happy, as they responded quickly, installed it, and quickly came back to fix the 2nd leak.

When I called to ask some questions, the service department was very helpful in explaining my options given the useful life left on my water heater and even suggested going the less expensive route. I called on a Thursday afternoon and they were able to send someone out first thing in the morning after apologizing that they were unable to come the same afternoon. The repairman called 20 minutes ahead to give me time to go home from work. He had the work completed in less than 10 minutes.
