Randy was responsive, informative, on time, meticulous, friendly and professional. While he may not be the cheapest, you are getting what you paid for. I definitely recommend his services if you want a job done the right way. It's too bad services like his are hard to come by these days.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED We made an appointment with Randy Luna of Heiden Tub Refinishing to refinish our bathtub based on our positive impression of him on the phone, his informative Heiden website, and glowing Angie reviews. However, when Randy inspected our bathtub he informed us our bathtub could not be refinished successfully and gave us the reasons, which are beyond the scope of this discussion. Randy suggested that we would be better off with a new bathtub liner and outlined the rationale for his suggestion. Randy then spent time giving us useful information on bathtubs in older homes (ours, built 1939) and bathtub liners; and he also spent some time online with us looking at companies who install bathtub liners. Bottom-line: Randy walked away from a morning’s work by putting our interest first. In my experience this is the primary quality to look for in a tradesman who will work for you. Overall impression of Randy and Heiden Tub Refinishing: While we did not use Heiden, as discussed above, we came away with a positive feeling about Randy as a guy you can trust and knows his business. Based on our experience, we would unequivocally recommend Randy and Heiden to you.

First, the only reason I rated price at B and not an A is because I feel like an A is "cheap, cheaper than it should be" and Heiden is priced very reasonably and fair. Good work deserves compensation, of course. Our newly resurfaced tub looks amazing. The process of refinishing was intense. Our bathroom doesn't have a window so they brought along adequate equipment to ventilate the fumes out the side door, and later fans positioned skillfully to take advantage of close by windows. Both Randy (I think that was his name, I'm very forgetful) and his son (who prepped the tub) were VERY nice and personable. I had to be in and out for appointments during the time they were at the house and felt very confident leaving them in my home while I was away. I recommend Heiden to everyone I know.

What a difference!,,,,Randy and his sons did a fantastic job.....very professional, very kind. They treated my house as it was theirs. Always called , came when they said they would. Plus a beautiful job.

Turned out fantastic, looks like new. The owner and his son are both very personable and professional. A few of my nearby neighbors have also used these guys with similar results.

They had to do a lot of prep work on my 1970, Chocolate Brown tub. It is actually hard to believe the change. I looks like a brand new tub. I have given their name to several friends.

The owner Randy, had his son, James, refinish our aging (1954 vintage) bathtub. James was very professional and did an outstanding job on our very cracked tub. This tub was refinished just 6 years ago by someone else and it looked terrible (full of cracks). James methodically removed all the product and got down to our original porcelain bathtub. He was patient, quiet, professional and respectful in our home. He did not make a mess and completed the job in a timely fashion, cleaning up after himself as each process was finished. When he completed the job he made sure that we knew the process for drying and laid out the instructions to us for the next 48 hours. 48 hours later, our tub looks amazing! It looks brand new! Thanks Randy and James for such a great job!! A VERY satisfied customer.

Was booked a month out when I called but it was well worth it. Tub looks fabulous. It only took one day for the work to be done. The chemical smell is strong but as the finish dries it dissipates. It isn't cheap but it's worth it when you consider how easy it is to clean now and how shiny and new it looks. It's not slippery at all either.

Our 65 year old porcelain tub is original to the house and we didn't want to change the character of our bathroom with something modern. However, when we moved into our house, the tub was in such disrepair that the finish was terribly pock marked to the point of looking like swiss cheese. (It had been refinished at some point long ago in the past and the finish had worn/flaked off.) Randy and his son took a day to strip the old finish and refinish it. The result was unbelievably amazing! Our tub looks brand new and we couldn't be happier! Would definitely recommend his professional, thorough, and quality work to anyone!

I called and left 3 messages asking these people to contact me about a tub refinish and they never did get back to me. Don't know how all those others had a good experience, but I sure didn't. Oh well on to the next guy on the list.

Amazing! Turned an old 1960 Salmon Pink Tub into a beautiful brand new looking white bathtub. No one believes me it used to be pink!!!

My tub was AMAZING afterwards. Looked brand new. Took about 5 hours. He was awesome. My only complaint which is just the way it goes: the smell lasted for 3 days fairly strong and lingered for about a week. Cold outside so hard to keep windows open all the time. I would do it again though even with the smell because the tub is amazing.

Randy was great. He came during the time frame that was scheduled. Worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. Came back 3 days later after it dried to caulk the tub. The result is great! My tub looks brand new.

Randy arrived on time on the scheduled date, but discovered that the tub drain was rusted in place. To do the refinishing properly would require him to remove it. I needed to have a plumber come and replace the drain with a new one (probably not a bad idea, anyway; this bathroom is over 100 years old). We set a date for him to return after the new drain was in place. Randy and his son each did pieces of the work (it seems that there are several stages to refinishing) and each were punctual, cheerful, and were careful in protecting the area around the tub. Randy took time to explain to me the best way to maintain the finish. One side note: I originally contacted Heiden to do both the tub refinishing and to paint the tiles in the bathroom, which was a significant job, for which we scheduled 4 days and a price north of $2000. As the scheduled time neared, however, I was able to find a way to restore the tiles and so I canceled the tile painting part of the job. This was a significant change to the scope and I didn't give Heiden much notice. Though I felt horrible, Randy told me he was happy to have his customers save money and that he had plenty of work to keep him busy, so it was no problem. I really appreciated this. Thank you for your understanding, Randy!

It was a longer process than we expected but it went smoothly and the team was professional and the result looks fantastic. We're very pleased with the work. We had recently had our bathroom remodeled and decided to keep the tub - it was in good shape other than the finish. One person from Heiden (local family business) cleaned and sanded the tub, removed the drain and covered the faucet. Then, another person (company owner) came and did the spraying. We expected more odor but between our exhaust fan and the fan they brought, there wasn't much odor other than in the bathroom. Again, we're very happy with the service and results and would use them again.

The man was there on time, gave me instruction on what to do and what you can and can't use on it. The finish has lasted until now.

Came out to refinish tub and stated it didn't need it. I was told tub was in good shape. Used a cleaner to get off stains. There office and everyone I dealt with was pleasant and straight forward with me. There was no charge for coming out. I would definitely recommend them based on their honesty. It was a pleasant surprise. I will be calling them again if I need this service.
