This company is terrible and to be honest; I am not sure they are still in business----we had a project, numerous things that added up to about 9,000. Upon taking a tree down they destroyed two squares of our concrete driveway and had to have it fixed and it does not match the color of the rest of the driveway. We also purchased 9 trees and 3 have died--costing $200 a piece. We also have 2 arbor vitaes replaced and both died, both were replaced, and the replacement of one died again--no resolve there. We have tried to contact them for over 9 months now, left numerous messages---was told the main owner we dealt with up and moved to West Virginia but someone in the family may have taken over? Regardless, no one ever returned our calls and we feel like we got robbed.

Grading/seeding work was performed; however, erosion control mats were not used per the contract on our hills. Those areas promptly washed out. Rework on the hills was performed with straw mats after the rest of the yard had started to establish. Those flat areas were sprayed for weeds this one and only time (contract called for three times over the year). Currently the hills are a mixture of grass and weeds (mostly weeds in some areas). Front ditch work was not performed properly and never corrected. The front ditch is now a storage pond rather than a vegetated ditch (see pictures). Several sloped areas are still washed out to this day causing the mower to bottom out. Green Machine no longer returns calls or makes any effort to correct issues.

It went well at 1st but this year I noticed a ton of weeds are growing in the path (they forgot to put a weed barrier in). Two trees are dead. When they took down the tree, they damaged our driveway. They tried to repair it but it looks weird compared to our other concrete. They also damage the grass and out front yard looks really patching. The worst part is they will not return phone calls or emails. The trees are under warranty and I would also like them to repair the grass.

Hard working crew, worked long hours every day. Excellent results, walls look great. Attention to details, including final construction of rain gutters and final river rock and mulch grading. Crew boss Santiago was especially hard working, and took great pride and integrity when constructing the new walls, with attention to leveling, backfilling and securing the block. Did extensive repair of the lawn damaged during the process, including topsoil, seed and hay-- waiting for the grass to grow back.

My first appointment was cancelled 5 minutes before someone was supposed to show up due and was told it was due to a mechanical issue with one of the trucks. We rescheduled for the next day where someone showed up, looked at the wall and said they were going to talk to a few guys along with taking some pictures but never head back again.

Matt and his team were professional and performed high quality work. They went out of their way to ensure our satisfaction, even negotiating with a local nursery on our behalf.

No- Show was told 5:30 and Matt never came to my home. A phone call to cancel or reschedule would have been appreciated. This is not a good business practice and actually the first time I have had a service provider not show up for an appointment to earn my business. Sorry if I missed something here...

Takes 5 days to get a response from them for an estimate for NEW business. Didn't leave a good impression. Looking for other contractors that are more responsive

Husband-12 year stroke survivor (deceased Jan 2014) and have severe RA; they kept the driveway, walkways and steps free of snow and ice- making it safe for us. They were very reliable both winter and summer; if I had stayed in the area after husband's death I'd still be using them.

Matt was pleasant during the estimate, understood exactly what I was requesting. Took mr email address, but never provided an estimate. Called to inquire about 7 days later, the office indicated they would send something by end of day. Still, no estimate given. They should be honest with people and if they did not want the work, just tell us.

Excellent job getting spruce tree stump out, removing other roots and also removed invasive brush and roots. Treated soil and added new top soil then planted grass seed which came up very nicely. Planted new arbor vitae shrubs and made a little stone water way where the sump pump empties. Looks excellent. Also reclaimed a flower bed along the driveway and put in new sod. Cleaned up a plant bed near the road and added some very nice plants. They were on time and did excellent work . I don't think anyone who would use them would be unhappy. I usually like to do my own work because no one does it like I do, but Matt and crew were just great. I will call them again.

We were very pleased with the project. They arrived when they said they would. They asked for our approval before any procedure was done. The job was completed within 8 hours. The cleared all debris including cleaning the road in front of our house. Super job.

The work was performed as scheduled in a professional manner.

Green machine takes care of our lawn.They do a great job of keeping it neat. Best part is, they cut it when it needs to be cut and not weekly.

They did an excellent job and we are very happy with their work. We brought them in after our first landscaper failed miserably and did horrible work. They were professional and got the job done right. We are pleased and have other projects we will be hiring them for. They were responsive and quick to perform the work. We highly recommend them!

We have been using this company for about six years and i've been very satisfied. All the employees are very professional and friendly. I couldnt be happier with the service. If anything is in their way they will move it, better yet they put everything back the way they found it. When they move the down spouts they make sure they are put back on securely. If the grass wasnt shorter you would of ever known they were even there. The owner Matt is very nice he will always take all the time you need to discuss your problems and concerns. He has been helping me decide what would be the nicest way to redo all of our flower beds. His ideas are fantastic, things I never thought of. I look forward to working with him for many years to come. I guess what I like most about Matt is he is down to earth. He will give you his honest opinion what will look and work the best. He's not out to rip you off. He is someone you can really trust.

It was awesome. They were excellent. They even called recently to see how everything lasted through the winter. They were outstanding. I would use them again in a heartbeat. He was really giving me feedback. They had to bring in a real big machinery. They were professional. They cleaned up. I couldn't say enough about how well they did. In fact, I am now the envy of my neighbors. It was really nice. They all comment and wanted to come over and ask who did it. It's a huge difference.

Is very dependable and addresses any issues I may have.

Dan & his 2 men did a wonderful job !! I can't thank them enough. They started exactly @ the time we had agreed to, & worked steady till they were done. Their cleanup was immaculate !!! I didn't know anyone to do this job , I couldn't, so I went on Angies List and eventually found Green Machine Landscaping. They made me very happy !!!!!!!

Called Green Machine to get my lawn aerated. Had to leave a message, but my call was returned promptly. They came by the next day and did the work. Can't ask for more than that.

I have been satisfied with their work. The overall experience was excellent. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use this service again.

There was little communication as this was a Groupon offer. They called to notify me the date they would aerate the lawn. The job was completed on that day and to my satisfaction.

They did a really good job. I was not expecting them so soon and did not have all the leafs picked up so they blew them off for me. I was really pleased with their service.

Two landscape employees arrived on schedule, consulted with me, trimmed my bushes, filled in shallow spots in the mulch with new mulch, cleaned up and haled away debris.
