Frisch Drywall

Mike did a wonderful job on redoing our basement after a flood. He did all of the drywall repair and painting. He fixed alot of imperfections corrections on previous work and did work i didnt ask him to, he just did it and didnt charge extra for it. I would highly recommend him and plan on using him again for other work

Mike was incredible to work with you was very flexible as issues came up with the project. Mike was responsive in getting back to me with a quote (consulted two other provides and took more than 3 weeks to provide me with a quote). We scheduled the work to be done while we were on vacation and Mike kept us informed on the status and also discussed issues with us before proceeding. There were a couple of additional pieces of drywall that needed to be hung to get the desired look and he took it upon himself to complete this (looks great). In the future, I am calling Mike for any of my remodeling needs as he is a real pleasure to work with.

I really like working with Mike. He is a one-man business and I prefer to put money into the dirty hands of the person who actually does the work. Mike is very skilled and managed to repair cracks and match the funky wall texture perfectly. He cleans up every night and left the place looking good. It has been a year and everything still looks as good as new. He is a great painter as well. Clean lines everywhere and he knows how to make a gallon of paint cover twice as many rooms as I can. I volunteered to purchase the supplies so I wouldn't have to pay him to do that grunt work and he gave me a home depot coupon! You can get the job done quicker if you hire a company with many employees, but Mike's prices are competitive and his craftsmanship is unmatched.

Mike was an exceptional contractor. He did everything he promised, showed up on time each day, and made great suggestions for finishing painting. Also, we had a very complicated stairwell with multiple corners that he finished beautifully. We thought it would be an eye sore but turned out great. All of his drywall seams and corners looked great. He did the job right and was very meticulous on his finish detail. Mike does great work and does not try to up-sell, pressure you, or overcharge. I would recommend him to anyone doing a drywall/painting remodel.

Michael provided a quote over email with an exchange of a few pictures, was very flexible on scheduling, performed high-quality work, and left the work area perfectly clean. The cost was very reasonable, especially since the repairs required that the work was performed across multiple days because of excessive moisture in the ceiling.

It went phenomenal. His work was flawless. He was priced very fairly. He showed up every day about 715am and went straight to work. He worked each day until he was either done or until the mud had to dry. He did it in exactly the amount of time he said he would - 5 days. He was very professional and very nice. He also took the time to provide his recommendations for priming and painting. I would without hesitation recommend him and use him again. Honestly I cannot think of anything that did go well with the whole experience.

It went very well, I was not ready for him to start work twice and he was very understanding, once he was able to start he completed his work in the exact time he said it would take (actually about a half day early). Final product looks great, very clean lines on the drywall and paint job. The final cost came in lower than several other quotes I had received with no sacrifice on quality.

Called to have an estimate done, told him the things I needed patched and repaired. He said "that sounds like a lot" and laughed. I told him never mind and hung up. If he's laughing at the amount of work I need done when I call to schedule a quote; what kind of service/quality am I going to get when it comes time to do the work?

He came for a quote. and I explained I needed the work done within the next couple of weeks and he claimed he'd be able to work within that timeframe. He subsequently emailed a quote which seemed quite high but I accepted the quote as I didn't have anyone else lined up (MY MISTAKE). In my acceptance email, I asked about his schedule and he eventually replied that he wouldn't have time for another 3 1/2 weeks. I responded that I'd only accepted the quote because he could work within our timeframe ... of course, I never heard from him after that. I ended up hiring a wonderful guy who did fantastic work for 40% the original quote I was given by Frisch Drywall. If you need to get your drywall work done within a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable amount of money, you may want to look elsewhere.

We had two skylights installed in our kitchen and needed them finished off with drywall. Mike did an excellent job with the seal as well as putting up fresh drywall. The texture is perfect to match the rest. We removed some upper cabinets in our kitchen as well over an island and he repaired and refinished everything there too. He painted our kitchen eating area as well. Highly recommend. Professional service. Prompt and completed in the time agreed upon. We've booked him already for another job at another house we own.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. He was very friendly and our dogs liked him too. Came on time and did the job over 3 days as explained. Ran in to a few hiccups and he helped trying to get an insulation company to come in and blow the attic. But when that didn't come through, he was very kind to lay down the insulation by himself. He also framed the window in the garage. Didn't charge much for the additional work as he understood it was an unexpected cost for us in the middle of the project. All in all Mike is great and does great work. We will hire him again for any dry wall work we will have in the future.

Mike was courteous, professional and punctual. He did the original work I requested and a few other repairs that I asked him if he could do when he arrived. He did the extras for no additional cost . I will definitely call Mike if I need work completed in the future.

He worked quickly and and got a very large job done on time and at a very reasonable price. Quality was also excellent given the difficulty of the job.

Mike is an outstanding worker. He responded back to me when he said he would. He kept his word and came to the job within the time he stated. He did a great job and gave me a very fair price. He is also very nice and easy to talk to.

Fantastic work. Mike is one of those rare craftsmen (in this day and age) who really cares about doing quality work at a fair price. He's also one of the nicest guys in the world. Great communication and flexible with scheduling. Worked hard every minute he was here. His fixed bid approach was refreshing and relieved us from having to worry about overruns. He even fixed a couple little things he found as he was working that weren't in the contract. Mike is now our go-to guy for all our drywall and related work.

Mike did an excellent drywall job; he had some creative ideas on how to best use crown molding to cover the old ceiling-wall joints and compliment the kitchen cabinet crown moldings and living room ceiling beams.

He worked fast and answered all question and concerns. Will use for larger drywall projects.

Mike did an outstanding job. He was extremely professional from beginning to end. I had hoped to have the work done before Christmas, but he was upfront and honest, explaining his schedule was tied up into January. I had him do it then, and I'm so glad I waited. He repaired some deep gouges in the drywall (from the window installation), to the point that I couldn't even tell they had been there. There were some other drywall repairs from large screws...the job was outstanding. He did an excellent job of staining the window frame. The job was a special challenge because the access to to the loft required going through a short door through the attic, or climbing a ladder. I would hire Mike again in a heartbeat. We have a couple of rooms that need painting, and I'll be contacting him soon.

Michael did a top notch job repairing the cracks and damage in the walls and ceilings. When he had finished it blended perfectly. I was extremely pleased with the paint job. He took the time he needed to do an excellent job without cutting corners. He's easy going which made for a pleasant atmosphere but at the same time never compromised his professionalism. After 2 days he finished all I wanted. Not long after I realized I wanted additional help. He returned in a short amount of time to finish the job. I had the chance to "shadow" him as he worked. I wanted to learn and consequently had lots of questions. He answered them all thoroughly, patiently, and with a good attitude. We hadn't planned for him to do any work on the roof, yet he took the initiative to try and prevent water from leaking into the house due to the ice damming. I would highly recommend Michael Frisch specifically in the areas of drywall and painting.

First told me how busy he was. Couldn't give me commitment on doing the work requested. He wanted payment up front without doing any work. Not very professional

I had to coordinate with the electrician for putting up the fixtures after the drywall We were scheduled for a Saturday and he decided he didn't want to come in. I had to reschedule everything to get this done. He then said I couldn't put a ceiling fan in one room because the plaster would not hold. I changed to just a light fixture. The electrician said there should be no reason to put up a fan he also started taking down the plaster and then decided to put down a tarp on the floor..

He did excellent work. Very fast. Very reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

Unfortunately, I was not too happy with the response in regards to what I wanted done. He said he would rather work on new drywall then repair drywall, especially because we were requesting knock down texture. I personally will not be calling him back.

Mike was very nice to work with. He did all that we asked for, and more. He was prompt, neat, thorough, and did a wonderful job. We would certainly recommend him.
