I have a service contract with them and they called me when it was time for service. They were out here within a half hour. They laid down a drop cloth and wore booties so they wouldn't track anything in our house.

There was an issue with the cost of parts so I'll be sure to double check that if I hire them again in the future. I did receive a free cleaning due the the mishap. Very professional. I can't say enough about their techs.

We received 4 bids for the replacement of our 1985 furnace that we were experiencing problems with. Their salesman (Joey) was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us what we considered was by far, the best bid for the type of furnace we ultimately chose. The installers (John, Rich, and Nick) did an outstanding job. During the installation there were several areas that turned out to be much more time consuming than what was originally estimated. They took care of these items very professionally (and within the original estimate) and gave us a finished product that we are very happy with. Kudos to the entire Donovan and Jorgenson Team! From our initial experience, they are definitely winners!

It was horrible. They sent out one repairman who removed some leaves (which he just dumped on the floor) and cleaned out a trap then left. He was not clear in explaining the problem and kept citing fault code numbers which meant nothing to us. Since the furnace still was not working we called back. They sent a different repairman who was at a loss of what to do and kept calling the first guy. The second guy set the furnace on emergency and we informed him before he left that it was just blowing cold air. He came back in and reset the furnace and then left after saying we needed to replace the main board and he would order it and come back on Monday. The furnace continued to blow cold air and we finally had to shut it off completely. They did not call back on Monday and when we contacted them they had not ordered the part and seemed unsure about follow-up timing. We told them not to bother and called another furnace repair company.

From the time we spoke with the sales people at the home show, to the staff at the office, to the installers and the patience and friendliness of Scott Fischer, the salesperson, while I made up my mind. Everything has been a positive experience. The installers were excellent. When they first arrived, they explained how they were going to proceed. During the process, they explained what was happening, and at the end, they went over every aspect of our new furnace with clear and concise explanations. They even went the extra mile strapping parts of the old sheet metal to minimize some of the banging I've lived with nine years. The electrician explained in detail why I needed a new thermostat, and then set it for me and explained how it functioned. The install was professionally done the way the sheet metal work turned out, the way they ran the tubing and strapped it down;the electrical work. It's obvious they take pride in their work. Cleanup was great.

Excellent service cleaned and tuned two furnaces. Very polite and professional.

I am absolutely outraged that they DIDN'T tell me it would cost $60 just for him to show up at the door. The work he did brought the price up to $100. My mother had an Aprilaire humidifier installed on her furnace and it was something like 20 years before it needed servicing. This serviceman says this version requires YEARLY servicing! I sure wish I had known that a year and a half ago and I would have told them to forget the whole thing. This humidifier is a simple piece of equipment. It should be designed like in the past to be nearly service free or homeowner service only. That they sell equipment like this that needs expensive services is testament to their greed, nothing more.

I had been having a very difficult time getting a HVAC plumber into my home. Fall is the busy season, so this is understandable, but I was very frustrated with the missed appointments and lack of responsiveness from other companies. I called D & J on a Tuesday and they scheduled an appointment for within a week. They didn't show up for the first appointment, but apologized, explaining there were too many emergency calls (I still had heat). They said they would come out the next week. I was leery, but they more than made up for it. They came and quickly fixed the problem, filled the boiler, and bled the radiator. Morty and Marvin were very professional and friendly- introducing themselves and explaining exactly what they were doing. I needed a tuneup on three boilers, so I paid in advance and they took 20 bucks off my bill. The total for the repair and tune-up ($418) was $100 less than another company quoted for tune-ups alone. I will definitely be calling them again.

Mike showed up on time and was very friendly. He even wanted to enter through the garage with the vacuum cleaner to avoid getting the carpet dirty. Mike then explained what he was doing to do and then directed my attention to a minor problem and gave me some options as to what I could do. I was very impressed with Mike.

The servicemen who came were both professional, friendly and punctual. I appreciate the fact that this company called to remind me when it was time to schedule the work, so I did not have to remember on my own.

I called for service on a Thursday morning. I was told there was a waiting list (I was put behind existing customers, those with no heat whatsoever, and individuals with medical needs). I called twice on Friday to see where I was in line. The service dispatchers were always polite, calm, and apologetic for the delay. Rob was able to come to my home Saturday morning. I was charged for a weekly service call because they were catching up. Rob did not seem to mind my asking questions, and took the time to be sure I understood what the problem was. He also explained the company's maintenance agreement. I would not hesitate to recommend Donovan and Jorgenson to my friends, and I will be signing up for their maintenance agreement.

They were extremely nice about the whole process and took care of all the paper work.

The salesperson (Scott) and all of the tech's are professional and courteous. They do an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves and even wear shoe booties when they enter the house. When the day of the appointment arrives, the tech always calls to verify you are home and arrives as planned. Not only do they perform annual service for me, but they installed our furnace and A/C unit about 5 years ago. The service today is as excellent as it was 5 years ago. I highly recommend them for your heating and A/C service or replacement needs.

It was a pleasure working with the staff at Donovan and Jorgenson. Brian, the salesman, was very helpful in helping us make the right choice for our furnace and air conditioner. The men that came to install the equipment were on time, efficient, and cleaned up before they left. I would recommend this company to other people.

This was a courtesy "check-up" as we had purchased a furnace from this company last year and air unit is original to the house (22 years old). Overall service person was polite and informative. We have had nothing but good experience with this company.

They've done work for us in the past (new A/C unit). Excellent work. They are punctual and are friendly and outgoing.

They responded quickly when asked for a bid. The unit was installed 1 day later even though it was above 90 degrees that week and they were extremely busy. The new unit did have a manufactures defect, and began to sound loud. It would cool, but it was noisy. They came back the next day, and then had the manufactures rep. come out. The manufacture said the unit was defective, and authorized replacement of the unit. A day later when the new unit came in, they replaced it. All of this was done at no additional cost to us. I was very pleased at the service we received during such a hot week.

Joey Dufrane was very personable, and very strong in product knowledge. I received a boiler-plate quote without the information I originally requested, and had to follow-up by phone a few times to finally get it all. The product and price was arguably superior to the one I ultimately chose, but I was concerned about the quality of service I would receive in the coming years (i.e., was Joey's lack of attention to detail reflective of the company's work ethic). I'm really not sure if I'd hire them in the future or not, but I guess I might give them a try.

I thought they were reasonably price and professional, everything was great.

They had 3 people here working to install. The difference between the new furnace and the old required additional work in the chimney. They came back a year later to check everything and showed us how to program the a/c at no charge.

I think they are good and reliable company. They are very prompt and professional.

Our Sales Manager, Brian Grainger, was polite and helpful. We received estimates from about 6 different companies (all from Angie's List), and this one seemed to be very well-priced. The Amana furnace, though not my #1 choice during my initial search, was better priced than similar products by other manufacturers. The chimney liner (to be used in the near future for a water heater) was about 1/2 the price of one of Donovan's competitors. We also received a credit for the unused oil.

The service department sends out a reminder note each year. D and J put in the units and have continued to do the annual safety checks for us. We were able to set up a service date that accommodated our schedule. The service man that arrived was efficient and thorough in his work. He left no messes and explained what he had done and why.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Was able to troubleshoot our air conditioning problem right away. We had a leak that resulted in no freon in the system. Repaired the AC and filled the freon. Also performed routine maintenance on our furnace including a complete inspection and detailed cleaning. Gave us a few tips to improve performance as well as a couple of things to keep an eye on. Also, offered to come out again in a year to perform another inspection at a reduced charge if we signed up for it now. If they still offer this, it's a great deal and a great way to save money on something you should be doing anyway.

Everything went very smoothly. They were prompt, professional and cleaned up afterwards. I did not get other price quotes for this work, as I have been using this company for about eight years and have always been happy with the quality of their work, their honesty and their prices.
