Called for a tune-up, answered immediately, set up an appointment for the day I requested, said they would arrive between 8am -12pm. Arrived @ 8:30. Very courteous & professional. Only criticism, they said they would call first and did not. Very satisfied.

They were very prompt and courteous. The gentleman that came was very honest.

The sales staff sold us on how quiet the unit would be and the unit was louder than I expected. Other than that we were pleased. I would like to add that they were good with my big dog.

They were very on time. I like them much better than any other company I have researched so far. They were very professional and got back to me within one day.

My experience with them was super. They actually took a coupon that I had from Angie's List. They came when they were expected. They took off their shoes and put on booties. They found a problem and they fixed it. They were very courteous.

He was very professional and were very friendly. They did a very thorough job compared to the company we used previously. I sign up for a maintenance program, So they called us to make the appointment. I am very happy with the job.

The visit for the estimate went well. Matt Schneider gave a very detailed explanation, SEER ratings, the regulations regarding freon as a coolant and the fact that it is being replaced with R-410A refrigerant which other companies may refer to as Puron. He also, priced out two different models, but before doing any of this he looked at the existing unit. He explained all warranties and the energy rebate on the 14 SEER model. I had three different companies give estimates on replacing my A/C. Matt left the most detailed proposal. It included step by step all that would be done. He was the only one that mentioned changing my thermostat. Others didn't see the need. I wonder how much extras like that drive up the price.

He cleaned twenty six years of dust and dirt off of the fan in there. He also explained the various components of the furnace to me well. He worked hard on it for seven hours. They saved me from buying a new furnace and they are now my furnace guys because of the way they worked.

They were great to work with. They were prompt, professional, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. We will use them for future work on our new units; I signed an annual maintenance agreement with them.

We called for an appointment for an estimate and salesman Rick Mantey promptly arrived for the appointment. He did a very thorough analysis of our heating costs and gas usage, took measurements and made recommendations on what type and brand of equipment we should have installed. He took the time to answer all of our questions in a clear manner and did not pressure us at all. We accepted the proposal he gave us and, much to our delight, the work started a few days later. The crew that came over to install the equipment was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They worked very hard to get the furnace installed the first day. (Because we were having both a furnace and an air conditioner installed it was a two-day job.) At first I was unsure on how to rate the company because of an oversight made by part of the team which left us without heat the first night. We discovered that the furnace wasn't functioning too late to call the company so we spent a rather damp and cool night. Because it was spring it wasn't too bad, it only got down to the mid-60s in the house but we were promised that the furnace would be functioning and it wasn't. When I called Rick in the morning to inform him, he was very apologetic and got help for us right away, even getting the crew who were scheduled to come out the second day out of a meeting to do so. The crew corrected the oversight immediately (the furnace gas valve was turned off so that some wiring work could be done and not turned back on), ran the heat for awhile to warm the house and then set about installing the air conditioner. Before leaving the second day the crew tested the furnace again and tested and retested the air conditioner to make sure it was indeed working correctly. They also took the time to thoroughly go over the new equipment with us and answered all of our questions. Because of their timeliness, high degree of professionalism, friendliness, their communicating with us every step of the way and the way they made up for their one oversight, we had a very positive overall experience with the company and I am recommending and rating them highly.

They had very reasonable pricing. We compared with several other companies. Their price, quality and guarantee were so much better than the other companies'. We've been very happy with them. They are always very professional and are such gentlemen when they come out. This is an employee owned company and I feel they take great pride in what they do because it's theirs.

Every time I call them they come right out and I am very pleased.

My sales rep was Mr. Jorgenson and he was a very honest guy. I had talked to some other H&C companies and they turned me off but this company seems to take pride in their reputation. The start of the work was delayed a bit because of a paperwork mix up but they were apologetic. My two installation techs were extremely polite and introduced themselves to me and explained exactly what they were going to do and the time frame. Important to know is that all of this companies employees are also shareholders in the ownership of the company so they take a lot of pride in their jobs. The work took about 2 full days because of the air exchange unit and one of their electricians also worked on the job. Mark was the lead tech and he was careful to explain everything to me. They are also following up with a tune up on the cooling system this summer and the heating system at the start of next winter. Class act company!

We found when the weather started getting really cold, we had two issues with our boiler they had installed in March. 1.) It was "firing" several times before starting and 2) the lowest level room, which is on a slab and heated by coils, was not getting appropriately warm. It took a total of four visits to correct everything, but each time, they were quick to respond and set up an appointment. They encouraged contacting them again if we had any problems...and when they did, they generously started the process all over again. BIG THANKS to Roland (one of their people in the field). He REALLY cares about doing the job right and ultimately fixed both of the problems after others had tried. EXTRA BONUS: Their warranty covered all of these visits and the parts required to complete the job.

We were pleased in every way, it was excellent service.

My furnace was not firing up, and they were able to come the same afternoon, at the end of a VERY cold day when demand was high. The guy who came was familiar with my type of furnace. While another company had come out earlier and been unable to diagnose it (but of course charged me for the visit), this guy knew what was wrong and thought he had the needed part in his van. He installed it and it didn't completely fix the problem, but he said they could get the other needed part and be back the next morning to complete the repair--which they did. They were even willing to come into the basement while I was at work and do the job, then locked the door behind them. My heat was up and running less than 24 hours from the time I called. This was an expensive repair, but that was due to parts. They charge just $65 for the first visit, less than the other company I'd used. I was very happy with their work.

Brian Granger came to our home and did an excellent job with estimating and helping us plan for the work. Nick, Geoff and AJ were scheduled to be here three days to complete the work and arrived on time and finished a day early! In addition they were able to provide additional services for the electrical work that needs to be completed next. Troy came the same hour and had an estimate for the electrical work ready for me by the end of the day. D&J is a company I would recommend without hesitation after this experience. Professional, timely, neat and excellent service!

The heater at our house went out on a Thursday night during the huge drop in temperature. We called other companies to get estimates, but several stated that they didn't have time to come out and give us estimates ASAP. Donovan & Jorgenson sent out someone first thing on Monday morning and their estimate was much more reasonable than other companies in the area. In addition, we were so impressed by them and their prices that we agreed to have them replace the air conditioner as well. They also found some other issues in our house that were causing the heating/cooling system to have issues, and fixed those problems as well. On top of this, they will come out again in the summer to repair some other issues (couldn't get on our roof w/ the ice). The work was great, the people were nice, and we really appreciate their prompt attention to our situation.

I would never have anything to do with Donovan & Jorgenson again. From the time we purchased the unit I have not been happy with their business practices or service. I am very unhappy with the performance of the unit and how they handle customer issues. I can not in good conscience ever recommend them to anyone for anything.

BJ did a good job going over things and explaining things I need to keep an eye on. While here he did an estimate to replace a valve which I will probably have fixed the next time they come for annual service. I also signed up for their service agreement. In general, very pleased.

Four men finished in one day to overall satisfaction. Would call again for any needed work.

Mr. Jorgenson came to our house to give us an estimate. He took the time to make sure all of our questions were answered. There was no pressure to make a decision. His quote was $1200 to $3000 less than the other two we received. The installers arrived on time and got acquainted with our large dog. Both workers were very courteous. The next thing they did was lay down mats to protect our floors. This was much appreciated. They proceeded to remove the old furnace and ac and install the new units. After installation was complete, they explained everything about the operation of the units. Clean up was excellent.

Great experience from start to finish. Thorough quote done on site. All the information we needed and several options were provided. Work was done scrupulously and quickly. Clean up after the fact was great. I have been recommended these guys to everyone. I even wrote them a "fan" letter, I was so pleased.

Very good all the way around. Their work practices and price, and salesperson were all very good.

The Inspector for the people buying our home discovered the unit was not working. Very embarrassing as we already told buyers it was fixed and it looked like we were trying to pull a fast one. A tech then came out while the inspection was still going on (a day before he was scheduled) and took it upon himself to tell the buyer's Realtor that the working unit should also be replaced because it was older. Called the company and owner asked what he could do to make it right. I asked for him to quote two units at his real cost since his tech had nearly killed the sale of the home and forced us to replace a working AC. His "discounted" quote was $450 more than two other competitors written quotes that included other work. His "normal" price ($5200) would have been more than $1000 higher than competition. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! They may be fine for cleanings, but they are gouging on big jobs. Didn't even apologize for failing to notice compressor was broken or tech talking to Realtor.
