Donovan-Jorgensen gets an A++ in my book! Everyone, from the emergency tech to Sales to the installers, were professional, friendly and performed great work. It was the extra touches, the above and beyond attitude, that made me decide to go with them. The installers (Carl and Mike) did a really great, thorough job! They've definitely made me a loyal customer.

I had used them for my previous furnace and air needs a few years back and they did a good job.

They told me that the humidity was normal, but it was not. They did not charge me for that work. They have always been available. They are prompt and very courteous. They are pretty quick to get back to me when I call them. I would use them again in the future.

I cannot say enough good things concerning my furnace repair experience with Donovan & Jorgenson.

Earliest available appointment was 1 1/2 months out. Was given a 4 hour window (12 - 4pm) and received a call at 11am indicating they were coming to my house. I was at work and told them I had to stick within the time frame they provided. Tech arrived at 3:30pm, took one look at the furnace and said I needed to replace it. Then, he asked if I wanted to go ahead with the tune-up since the furnace had to be replaced. He quickly and rudely completed the tune-up and wrote dimensions for a box filter he said would work better than the metal filter that was in place. The dimensions were incorrect so I had to return the filter I purchased and buy the appropriate size. I should have sent him out the door when he walked in and told me I needed a new furnace. The guy can't even use a tape measure.

The experience was great. It was quick and easy to schedule a quote (next-day), and I had the estimate in hand before the sales rep left the house. He went through the options for a new furnace, from the base model to the top-of-the-line, and was the only one of 5 companies who gave me no flack when I chose the base model. He was also the only one who didn't speak down to me (a woman), which, as a mechanical engineer, I really appreciated. The quote was very clear and all of the optional services (humidifier, chimney sleeve, etc) were priced out separately, as requested. The office staff was pleasant for scheduling and payment and were very accommodating in getting me the information I needed. Installation took place while we were not at home. They said they would show up around 8am and it would take approximately 8 hours; I had a call from the installation team around 2pm saying it was finished. When I got home the basement was in better condition than I left it. They cleaned up everything, there were no mud tracks or stray wires. The quality of the installation was, as far as I can tell, great. The electrical conduit was run very cleanly, the modifications to the ductwork were clean and tight. The new gas lines seem to be installed well. Everything runs just fine. As I said, we had 5 companies quote the job. D&J's quote was the lowest, but we hired them more for the lack of smarminess than the price, honestly. They respected our intelligence. They respected our choice in product. One other company outright refused to quote a lower-end model furnace, saying "you need to put money in upfront to save in the long run." I understand that principle, but the choice is mine to make, not theirs. We live in a very old home in a very modest area, we have energy bills that are reasonable and had been perfectly happy with the performance of our old furnace. When I asked D&J to give me a quote on a comparable furnace that still met the tax rebate energy requirements, they did so without complaint. They also did not try to scare me into buying services I didn't need; one company tried to tell me I would need an entirely new electrical panel (despite having upgraded 220 amp service), three said that if I didn't have them install a chimney liner the inspector wouldn't pass the installation (despite the fact that the furnace is directly vented to the outside), and one tried to convince me that the ancient wood-burning stove connected to the chimney would invalidate my homeowner's insurance (which I have since checked out with my insurance company, who said that was nonsense). Donovan pointed out all of these issues and quoted them for us, but I felt like they gave us the information we needed to make a rational decision rather than one driven by fear. I couldn't have been happier with their balance of cost, professionalism, respect, efficiency, and quality. We would recommend Donovan & Jorgenson to anyone based on our experience.

Great with Seider, not great at all with Donovan&Jorgenson Inc. They really dropped the ball and literally left us cold!

Rolo and Marvin arrived late due to problems on a previous job, but I did get a phone call, telling me that they would be late.

With such a high rating, I was expecting to love them. Now, I am crossing them off my list and moving on.

The Donovan and Jorgenson office called me to let me know that their struck was on it's way. The technician, Juan, arrived on time and got right to work. I had taken time off from my job and appreciate how efficient he was. He also provided me with a great deal of information and some suggestions to make the system work more efficiently.

I love this company! When the tech determined that the problem was electrical, the company didn't leave me in the lurch. They called in an electrician that does work for them to check things over. When he determined that the problem wasn't in the house, but in the outside lines, he called WeEnergies for me. (WeEnergies came out that evening and set up a "cart" for me so that I could run my A/C until they could come back the following day to work on some underground wires.) What impressed me the most about D&J is that they didn't simply diagnose the problem as electrical and leave, but they hung in there with me until I got the help I needed to solve the problem. To me that was going over and above. I can't recommend this company highly enough!

I thought that Juan was VERY knowledgeable and very helpful helping me to understand my central air. He brought up great points involving the intakes and I was very pleased with his service.

I paid for the service call, but they deducted the price of part from the price of the new furnace. They are very neat, and explained everything throughly, which I really appreciated. They completed the work in a timely manner. I would recommend to my friends.

It went very well from the initial call to having the tech come out and check the unit. Customer service called ahead of time to let me know when the tech was on his way. The tech answered all my questions, was very professional. Basically it was next day service which was nice.

From estimate to installation we were very impressed with this company. No high pressure sales techniques -- just answers to our questions and concerns. We were replacing two furnaces with one and were worried about the heat/air conditioning being able to reach all rooms. Because we were switching from two furnaces to one there was duct work involved and, even though the entire process took a week, we were never without heat! The crew that worked on our house was polite and friendly. Each day after they were finished you would have never known we were having work done -- no mess! It's been over a year and we've been overjoyed with our furnace and air conditioning. Our utility bills are much lower and we are always cozy in Winter and cool as can be in the Summer. The units are very quiet and we've had no problems with either unit. I can't say enough about this company except that my sister and her husband also hired them to do the same work at their house after hearing me go on and on about how happy we were. They were also very happy with their experience and relayed Donovan Jorgenson's name to my brother.

I have been using them for 3 years, and I am always pleased with their service. The technicians are very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable.

Service tech Tom arrived about 8am and completed full service and minor maintenance on gas furnace. He was very professional, answered my questions, and completed service in time and price quoted.

The job went fine. The technician arrived on time and disconnected the unit moving it to a corner of the patio where it would not be in the way. When the landscaping was completed several weeks later, they came back and reinstalled it.

Their service has been good. They are nice to deal with, and they are very professional.

They were very good and I had no complaints. They responded very quickly and they came out. I appreciate the fact that they were able to get it running until they could get a new motor for the furnace. Their price seemed reasonable. The repair guy was very friendly and informative. I would use them again in future.

They do the service on my heating and conditioner, and they also did the installation. They have always been prompt.

We went through different companies way back when we did replace these units, and we chose them to do the job - we have been with them ever since. They gave us references to call, and we did call to check how they were. They are good, efficient, professional and punctual, and I like their work. They do spend time cleaning the units. They showed me what the maintenance work actually involves. I make sure that they service the units so that they are running right and are long-lasting. They call us when it is time to set up an appointment, for them to come out and do their work. The cost after accounting for the taxes is about $298. When we first went with them, their price was pretty comparable, but I?ve not shopped around since, and so I don?t know how their price would compare.

I would use their services in the future as well.

My experience with them was great. They came on time and they were extremely aware of cleaning up. They cleaned up the basements very well when they finished. They are on a maintenance contract from the past 10 years and they call me twice every year to check to remind me about the furnace and the air conditioner. The maintenance contract is beneficial where they would come for an emergency first rather than an existing customer.
