It went very well, including the call in advance when the technician was on his way.

The scheduling was easy, and getting a Friday afternoon (to limit the time off work) was easy. As usual the guys from Donovan Jorgenson were professional, arrived in the window that they scheduled and were meticulous with the service. We'll use them again next year.

From beginning to end Joe Z was meticulous, detail-oriented and careful to answer any questions or concerns we had. He's an excellent resource and we felt completely confident in the products and services we were going to have installed. My husband is extremely particular and we both agree that Joe would lead us in the right direction. From the second the installers arrived, they were courteous and efficient. I actually couldn't believe how quickly and carefully they worked to keep our home clean and comfortable during the 3 day install. We are extremely pleased with our new system. We would most certainly recommend Joe and Donovan & Jorgenson to anyone who would need products or services with Heating and AC. Thanks, Joe!

Everything went great. The man came on time and was very polite. He did all the inspections and cleaning. Then he explained everything to me. I signed up for the scheduled furnace and central air cleanings and check ups. They did a great job.

The quotes were comparable to other companies. I chose to go with an other company because or history with them.

The two installers arrived promptly in the morning. They quietly tore out the old furnace and removed it from the basement. They moved in the new furnace. While one installer worked on the furnace in the basement the second installer setup the AC equipment outside and installed the connection to the inside furnace. An electrician came and did the electrical hookups both inside and outside. A new thermostat was installed also. The installers worked well and quietly. The insatll was finished mid-day and they tested both the furnace and AC. Then the installers trained me on the new thermostat and the newfilter system in the basement. They did an excellent training job and answered all my questions. They did a very good cleanup. I did need a few adjustements as i reviewed the install the next day and the salesman and installers quickly came and made the adjustments. I was impressed by the quality of their work and their professionalism. The salesmen checked back to see if I was satisfied. Neighbors on both sides of me also have recent D-J equipment. A job well done.

We had a smell of heating oil in the basement stairwell. Company sent a technician that afternoon. He inspected the burner, oil line, and valves. He did not find any leak. He replace the nozzle and filter. The oil smell is gone. We were pleased that the company sent a person the same day.

My central air wasn't working. I called the company to repair the unit. They were able to send someone the next day and he was able to get it working but said he didn't know how much longer the 30 year old unit would continue working. I agreed. Their salesman called later that day and arranged a time to come out, determine sizing and discuss options. He looked at the furnace and ductwork and provided a couple options for the new central air unit. They were able to install my choice the following week. The installer arrived on time, finished the work quickly and efficiently. He explained how things work. The sailesman even stopped back out to check on how the installation went. Everyone was very professional.The unit works great.

From the initial contact with the office all team members were responsive. As to the meeting with the sales professional he was on time, very professional and knowledgeable and transferring his technical expertise into a language that I could understand. An overall A for my experience.

;Earlier in the month I requested bids from several companies including Donovan & Jorgenson which I either had prior experience with or good word of mouth referrals. I also reviewed information about all of these companies on Angie's List. D&J wasn't the lowest bid; but from what I could tell their's was the strongest listing on Angie's List. My contact with D&J, Rick Wise, was quite professional and went the extra mile to tailor their recommendation to our unique situation. Their approach was knowledgeable and kind. I found the other vendors either a bit pushy or lackadaisical. The actual installers , Billy and Brad, plus the Electrician, Andrew were all quite friendly, polite, efficient. My wife's health is not good and the last thing we needed aworkmen banging around while listening to a blaring radio. This job requiring work though out the house, crawl space, and outside; it was performed in a quiet, efficient, and respectful manner These guys did a great job and even laughed at my jokes. The job complete with removing the old super heavy furnace was done much quicker than I had anticipated. The installers were quite open to requests I had regarding placement of the equipment and connections. During the installation I had some questions regarding the actual delivered components. These questions were immediately researched and answered. With job completed I still am finding more and more areas where they took special care putting this job together with an extra bracket here, extra tie wraps there, etc. Very tidy, professional, and quality job.

We had an estimate done on 7/18/12 to replace our old furnace and A/C. The sales rep. did a very good job of explaining the various options and gave us a very good quote. We have been using them for several years to maintain and repair our old system and we have been very satisfied with their work so we signed with them. They were able to schedule us just a few days later on 7/27/12. They arrived on time that morning and did a very good job. It was completed by late that afternoon as they had promised. Every thing was done as stated in the contract and it looks great and works very well. All questions we had were answered to our satisfaction. We will continue using Donovan & Jorgenson in the future and would highly recommend them for any heating and air conditioning work.

We have had excellent service from this company and really like all of the technicians and installers who have done work in our house. They installed a new furnace and AC unit to replace ones that were about 20 years old (but still working). They helped us select units that were of good quality and fit our budget. The installation was flawless and the installers were very professional and pleasant to have in our home. This company has also done all of the routine maintenance on our prior furnace and AC units and we really liked all of the technicians who did the work. We will be sticking with Donovan and Jorgensen.

They come when they say they will. They are very responsive and do a good job. They are very clean and kind. I would definitely use them again.

I contacted 4 different A/C companies and received bids from all four companies. Because the guarantee on the Air Ease was a 12 year parts and labor and 10 year on the compressor compared to the typical 10/10/ and 1 year labor from other dealers, I elected to go with D & J. This guarantee is not just a 3rd party guarantee but D & J backed as well. All four dealers were highly rated in Angie's list so I wouldn't have had any problems choosing any of the 4 dealers. I have had D & J do work for me in the past, installed a new high efficiency furnace a few years ago, so I was familiar with the work they did and was very satisfied with it. The salesman Rick, happened to be the same person that had installed my furnace and he did an excellent job of giving me all the facts and figures I needed to make a decision. He was happy to answer the questions that came up, even after he had given us the bid, such as questions about the guarantee and installation questions. Any calls were quickly answered and answers were given promptly. It helps when the salesman has been an installer because he can answer more complex questions. He also made an effort to get me on the install list quickly because of the high heat warnings that were taking place at the time. I signed the paper work on Monday and was scheduled for the install on Wednesday. The installer, Bill, was supposed to arrive shortly after noon on Wednesday, however, since he had finished his other job early, he called and asked if it would be okay to come over early. He arrived, introduced himself, asked me to take him to the basement and began work. He had all the necessary panels pre-cut and ready for the install. He removed the old equipment from the existing furnace, including the piping while he was evacuating the freon from the old unit. Everything for the installation went smoothly, all the equipment was installed, an electrician had been pre-scheduled to come by and reinstall the electrical cables and box, and the installation was completed in around 4 hours. The installer even told me that a little bit of the oil had spilled out of the old unit as he was carrying it by dolly to his truck and he cleaned it up. After the installation, he cleaned up all the mess and loaded it into his truck. He then took me around and showed me exactly what he had done, explaining exactly what everything was, both inside and out. All and all, it was an excellent experience, both quickly and expertly done, and the house hadn't even heated up even though it was over 90 degrees outside.

The furnace/AC job took all day, and they seemed very organized in getting the installation done. Threading the wires up through the wall for the new thermostat was an ordeal for the workers -- a drawback of older home construction because of misaligned walls -- but they persevered. Once the old Aprilaire humidistat was removed from the wall upstairs, a big gaping hole was left in my main living quarters, but that was understandable. The old thermostat had been installed 60 years before and the humidistat some years after that in two separate holes near each other with a channel cut into the drywall between. But now only the new thermostat belonged in one of those spots, so there just weren't enough gadgets to cover the old holes and channel. The first night of heating using the newly installed furnace there was a problem. The thermostat was not registering the increased temp as the new furnace cranked out the heat, and I had to switch the furnace off manually after it had brought the temperature up to 80º. It was a glitch caused by miswiring inside the furnace controls by the lead technician, and they sent another technician (who is more experienced) the next morning to fix it. None of these glitches bothered me. I was thrilled to have gentle, effective, cheaper heat after years of suffering with an old gas-guzzling pickup truck of a furnace blasting away at me. And the AC was a godsend the first year...half the electricity I had previously spent to run an ineffective window unit got me blissful comfort the whole summer. I realize I paid a premium for a top-of-the-line furnace and AC, but it was worth it. And I was ultimately happy with this installation.

My AC was struck by lightening and after 2 opinions/quotes Advanced Energy Concepts which is a division of Donovan & Jorgenson, Inc. offered a good price for what I wanted and had the Distinctions by Amana line which I liked. They were also a member of NARI, BBB and MBA so I chose to go with them. I paid them 1/3 down and the balance upon installation. A few months after installation they started sending me invoices. I contacted my sales rep, Joe Zettel, explained the situation to him and he said it would be taken care of. A few more months of recieving invoices pass and a few more calls to Joe didn't resolve anything. I finally called the office and they asked me to provide them a copy of the invoice showing that the job had been paid in full, which I provided. Finally I was advised that my check was lost and never cashed. In Nov-Dec, while doing my research to verify if the check had been cashed in the past 4-5 months or not, they found the check in a file and submitted it for payment. At this time the check did not process due to NSF. I found that I had written 2 checks for the exact same amount with nearly the same check number, so I had mistakenly checked them both off as being cleared when reviewing my bank statements. This of course was my error, however I felt it was caused by them losing my check for 4-5 months. They then demanded that I pay them immediately and did not want to make any payment arrangements or wait until after the 1st of the year for payment of the amount due. I felt this was unacceptable since the issue was caused by their sloppy record keeping and payment processing. However, I paid the amount due in full and decided that I would most likely not spend money with them again.

They did good work. They really cleaned up well and were priced reasonably.

Everything goes well. They wear booties and are very aware of not getting anything dirty on the way to the unit in your home. They take the time to explain what they found, what to watch for, and what may be happening in the future. We have used them for almost twenty years.

m Scott, the salesman, came out, knowing we needed a new furnace. Before he even knew we would go with his company, he asked if we needed any heaters. I was really impressed. We talked about different models, features, and prices. We decided on a furnace, and set up an installation date (not too far out). The team came out and installed the furnace in a timely manner. They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. Scott, the salesman, checked back to see if everything was working okay. Nice.

Donovan & Jorgenson Inc have always been good, I have never had any problems with them.

Joey Dufrane was professional and a very good listener. We had some complicated problems and he was easy to work with to come up with a solution.

Donovan & Jorgenson worked on my furence as it was blowing cold air. They arrived very promptly (on the same day I called) and fixed the part on the furnace that was faulty; furnace seem working well now. I was advised to prepay for a annual service that they offer as they will give a discount, so I will see if doing this is really price effective. I was pleased with most everything that was done except the price (over $500) seems to be high.
