Dan offered an expert opinion in overall tree trimming. He removed a giant tree that had fallen and made the rest of tree and look beautiful.

Simply outstanding work. I couldn't be happier. The work was done on schedule and on time. The price was fair and Dan was a true pleasure to work with. Additionally, he gave great suggestions on what should be done and what should be planted after the existing plant material was removed. It was also very clear that Dan is very knowledgeable and he gave us great suggestions on maintaining the landscaping.

Dan Marek arrived and evaluated the condition of three trees on our property. One of the trees had been damaged in a recent storm. He provided a written estimate and discussed options for removing the tree that was leaning up against and impacting on the health of another large tree in the yard. We agreed on the price and signed the quote. Mr. Marek indicated he and his crew would return during the following week as our job was a "fill in" to remove the damaged tree. Mr. Marek and his crew arrived during the very next week, removed the damaged tree and all of the debris. Mr. Marek came back to check on our satisfaction with the work before requesting payment. He also told us how to treat the stump that remained. We are very pleased with his honesty, reliability and quality of the work performed. We would rate him as providing outstanding high quality workmanship.

Mr. Dan was on time and did exactly what was asked of him. He was very friendly and patient, and completely answered our questions. Either he or his wife Ms. Maureen was very prompt in returning our phone calls. Great service!

They were very prompt and they came and gave us an estimate. They are going to do some work for us and I was very pleased. He was very direct and he was not at all pushy. He pointed out what needed to be done. He knows that we know a little bit about landscaping so he was very informative. He gave us an estimate and it was a pleasant one. He won’t be able to do anything for a few weeks but he told us what we could do and he was very helpful.

It was a very good experience. Dan took pictures before the work began; explained exactly what he would be doing. All of the debris was removed and the areas left in clean condition. We (our condo association) plans to have him come back for more work. Dan interacted with other board members as well and they were also impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and demeanor.

I was definitely pleased with his service. Dan is courteous and professional, and I certainly would recommend him to others.

The service was great and was completed very well. I had the choice of cutting the tree down or banding the tree. I didn't want to cut it down since it was a good tree. I purchased a Big Deal for an estimate and he quoted about 10 or 15 different things that were going on in the yard so I chose to have the most problematic job done.

Excellent experience. Had four very tall and large trees close to the house that needed to be removed and required a bucket truck. The logistics of getting the truck in was challenging and was done so with minor impact on lawn. Were given option of keeping the firewood and wood chips or having it hauled away. Kept a pile of wood chips, had wood hauled off. The largest tree was within 3' to the house and was 40" in diameter. The stump was also ground out. The crew works quickly and leaves the site clean.

Dan came promptly for the estimate and gave us a discount because of Angies List. The work was done in at 2 different times to accomodate the growing cycle. Each time the work was done we were completely satisfied with the work, clean up and attention to detail. Dan came to review the work and make sure we were satisfied. When one thing was missed he completed it quickly. They also went the extra mile and dug out stones from past landscaping around the patio and built a small wall of stones. It really enhanced the patio. Dan was very accommodating, easy to access, adhered to the estimate even when the materials exceeded his expectations and cheerfully answered my many questions.

Went well. Very professional, hard-working group. I would use them again, but need to get enough work to make it worth his minimal charge (which is fair).

He spent a lot of time assessing what was needed. He was clear about what he would do, and he followed through with everything. I was happy with the results; I think they did a nice job.

Dan came to do the work within two weeks of my phone call requesting the service, as he promised. We reviewed the trees in question, and then he completed the branch removal and clean up (chipping the branches that were removed) in about an hour. The debris, except for some sawdust, was well cleaned up. He asked me to look over the work, and I was pleased with the results.

Dan and his crew were professional and we are very happy with the trimming and shaping of our trees. It has given our landscape a new look and opened it up.

Dan responded to my home promptly for an estimate. He performed a thorough walk-through of the property and gave me very good advice about trimming, pruning, and tree care in general. I was much more comfortable with his advice and fund of knowledge than a larger nursery/tree service I had consulted. Additionally, his estimate was much lower. He did a wonderful job with some very difficult trees that had been neglected for a long time. The final result was aesthetically very pleasing and the cost was exactly as estimated. I would highly recommend his services.

WOW, what a great experience!!! Dan showed up early, which was NOT a problem for the estimate. He asked me what I wanted done, and then showed me what he would do. He made excellent suggestions to improve the trees, while keeping in mind the shading and privacy issue. He took me around our home twice to make sure I understood what he would do. If I hired him, he said that he would be involved in the work himself, not his partner because he knew what needed to be done firsthand. He gave me a fair estimate and did not ask me to sign anything. There was NO pressure; just courteous, professional and punctual service. When I hired him, he showed up on time, did the work, and gave me some suggestions about some other planting issues. He cleaned up the area more than what I expected. He also made sure I was happy before asking to be paid. If everyone worked as well as he and his crew did, Angie's List would be out of business.

Dan was prompt in returning our phone call, giving us an estimate and doing the job. He actually cut down an extra tree for us that was not originally included in his estimate, but didn't charge us extra. He was careful to remove any items that might get damaged.

DAN WAS VERY PROMPT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

EXCELLENT! PROVIDED ESTIMATE, COMMENCED AND COMPLETED ALL WORK IN LESS THAN A WEEK. ACTUAL TIME ON THE JOB WAS LESS THAN A DAY. POLITE, FAST, EXCELLENT WORK. WORKED COOPERATIVELY WITH OTHER CONSTRUCTION CREWS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

THERE WAS NO VEHICULAR ACCESS TO THE TREE, SO ALL WORK HAD TO BE DONE MANUALLY.
