Dale and Mike were extremely responsive and efficient. Very thorough in troubleshooting and solving problems. I was given several options to accomplish the work which was very beneficial and cost saving. I would highly recommend them.

I last contacted ck Electric by email 12-3-14 and have not heard back from him yet.

Called Dale to come out and give me a quote, he was able to do it that evening after 530 at night for me. Right there I was impressed because most places I called it was 8-5. He was there on time and I was running a litle late and he introduced himself to my wife and was in the basement checking things out when I got home. He was very polite and a very nice guy. Gave me a quote on the spot and also emailed one to me. I want to say we scheduled it a week later and everything went well. The installer was on time and also very polite with my wife in the morning and was clean and locked up when he left. I would recommend him to anyone in the area. His price was half of what two other companies quoted me and they weren't half as nice as he was. The installer also added two GFI outlets for us at not cost in the kitchen (we provided the outlets, he just hooked them up).

It was spectacular. I called Dale (the owner, who answers his own phone) and explained my problem. Landscapers were coming tomorrow, so I needed to have the electrical outlet that served the pool removed today. He agreed to come over and check it out. He was here at the time he promised, and once he saw what I was talking about, he took care of the problem. I had started to dig up my buried electrical lines. He said it wasn't necessary, and outlined all the steps that needed to be done. He said he could do it right now, so we did. Thank You, Dale Resch of CK Electrical for quick, professional service! It was a wonderful experience. I was able to get my job squeezed into a very busy schedule for the company. I really appreciated that, as I wanted to get my bathroom back in order. Dale is very knowledgeable and just a genuinely nice guy. He takes great pride in his workmanship, and is very efficient. I have even booked some additional work to be done that I have put off for some time. I would highly recommend CK Electric.

We bought $150 dollars for two hours of service with the intention of using it to get a ceiling fan/light installed. Mike was on time. I was a couple of minutes late but he was was waiting in the driveway and was gracious about it. He installed the fan quickly given that the existing box was in good shape. I thought that he'd pack up to leave after the fan was installed as that was the job I'd requested. He didn't. He asked what else he could do in the remaining 45 minutes which I really appreciated. He grounded three outlets. He was also very neat. Finally, he showed me how to handle the bulb so that I didn't get skin oils on it which would reduce the life on it, he said--(apparently there's a "thing" that comes with the light that you use to grab the bulb). I am very satisfied with how this went.

On time, personable, easy to deal with, good work

I don't think anyone wants to spend hard earned $$ on house repairs, but we needed the electric upgrade and we're gald we had CK Electric do the work. They were prompt and completed the work in one day. We know their price was competitive, becuase we recently had comperalbe work done on a home we needed to sell. The 2 bids we got ranged from $300 to $600 dollars more than what CK Electric charged. I highly recommend CK Electric. Both Dale and Mike were professional, courteous and informative about the electrical service we needed. They took the time to explain the work they would perform and to answer our questions and concerns. We feel confident in the work they did for us.

We spoke with him about scheduling an appointment on our rental property. He stated that he would not be able to honor the deal, since it was commercial property. I told him it was residential, but he insisted he would have to charge me $90 an hour. I just cancelled this service with him.

The primary reason I called Dale Resch of CK Electric, involved a problem with 4 outlets in our Rec. room. Our freezer was plugged into one of the 4 outlets. Can I say a dripping mess by the time we returned from a weekend trip to Michigan. I immediately checked our breaker box and subpanel, but not a single circuit breaker was tripped. How could all the circuit breakers be fine, and I have 4 dead outlets (one to that freezer)? I can handle flipping a switch, but this????? I turned to Angies list because of my previous positive experience. I live in West Bend and CK Electric is located in New Berlin, WI. SO why did I not use a local electrician? Good question. After talking to Dale on the phone about my problem , he made it clear that he "works FAST' and could solve my problem. Listed on Angie's and with a good vibe over the phone with Dale, I bought the Deal. Dale was even better than expected. Easily traced my problem to a loose white wire in ONE of the wall outlets. Quickly ( and efficiently) did the repair and still had time to replace a line voltage thermostat and switch box extension. I was one happy camper. Oh, by the way, Dale is a living library of electrical expertise. Experience is everything and he willingly shares his knowledge of a colorful 33 years in his chosen field. I would use his services again in a heart beat.

AWESOME JOB! Very happy with this contractor!!! Only issue at all was arriving late because another client had an emergency call. I have already recommended them to a few people. Very happy with the work and the service. Quality work at a fair price. An honest contractor. Friendly, professional, efficient.... Very very pleased and so glad to be a member of Angie's list when choosing contractors. Makes it so much easier to choose a contractor or service. CK Electric is who I will call for all my future electrical needs and I will continue to recommend them to family and friends with confidence.

Put 17 hours of work in to bring electrical system up to code. 25 receptacles replaced and grounded,27 switches with grounded type,12 receptacles with GFCI,2 exterior receptacles with weather rated GFCI and covers,rewired two improperly installed junction boxes,rewired garage light to code and rewired exterior house light to code. Materials $582 and the rest labor. Electrician was very up to date on the code, pleasant to work with and polite.

WONDERFUL! These guys are super! They had the lowest quote of the 4 electrical companies that we got quotes from. CK Electric had the lowest price and they added in a bathroom fan and included the roof work, too. So, they really hit the ball out of the park! Mike, the electrician, was on time. He was also very professional. He checked with me when a decision needed to be made and we discussed the options. Mike also cleaned up after himself. I appreciated that. We are very pleased with the electrical work that was done. We plan to have them out again in a few months to install some ceiling fans. I can't say enough good things about them.

He said he would call on Mon. Sept. 22 to schedule a visit for another estimate but has not called. I'll use someone else.

Very helpful suggestions and recommendations by the owner Dale as a result of the full house inspection, with no pressure to buy anything. Work I elected to have done was expertly completed, and the electrician who did the work was very efficient, professional and respectful, and surpassed my expectations. Price was very reasonable for the work performed. Highly recommend.

Mike came promptly, was super efficient, and cleaned up when he was finished. He knew exactly how to do this job, from locating and adding necessary wiring to installing new switch, everything was done with care and expertise. He was friendly and handled everything professionally.

The contractor was polite, friendly and apparently knowledgable. I didn't expect any problems, and he didn't find any problems. I've used licensed, trustworthy contractors and had the electrical box upgraded five years ago. However, having the electrical system checked out was a good idea for my peace of mind. I watch the DIY channel and have seen too many screw-ups!

I purchased a Big Deal with them, and they contacted me in a timely fashion, but it turned out that I did not need the deal.

Fine! He was very good and accommodating. All electricians got job and get going. They figure out that they did when I was available. The price is reasonable.

He was very knowledgeable and fair. I took him through the things that I wanted done and he gave me a nice price. I am very happy with the work.

The actual work that was done was fine, but they were not professional. They lied about a few things. I would not do business with them again, or recommend them.

I have used him earlier, too, to get some electrical work done. And his costs were most reasonable and he worked with us to give us several alternatives and such. That time -- this was around Jun 2011 or so -- I had asked for estimates from 3 other people and he was the cheapest. My handyman had recommended him. And I have had no cause to complain since.

During a remodel project we had this company come in and do some of the electrical work. The actual layout and pull of the wires was fine but, this is where the good work stopped. During the project there were numerous occasions where we would need to explain how-to or where things were expected. Example: We needed wiring to go above the fireplace where the television was to be placed. It needed a wiring loom to the left and right through the wall for the speakers. It took four "re-dos" to make this happen. Since there was a remodel going on, we also had new electric put in the kitchen. Having to explain that the cabinets will cover up the can lights because they are too close to the wall is not something I, as a homeowner, should have to do. We also have two cabinets in the kitchen that have "outlets" inside of them (one of those being a few inches from the ceiling). I still can find no reason to have that outlet in particular. These outlets were never had the receptacle installed and were not covered up. This has since been fixed. The worst overall was the main breaker box. Everything is heavily wired to a few breakers. There was space in the box for new breakers to be added. Those empty spaces were not used and double breakers were added. Also, with everything being open up, a spread across breakers could have been added. On one breaker alone, we have: front lights, garage lights, garage opener, front post light, rear outdoor lights, living room can lights (8), living room outlets (4), kitchen outlets (2), downstairs hall lights (2), dining room lights, dining room outlets (2), and a wiring panel box in the basement. We do have a really hard time plugging in a vacuum cleaner and turning on a light anywhere on the first floor. It was not setup that way previously. I had even supplied a chart with all connections and information on the box prior to the work. Offering to charge more to fix the issues that were created is not an option. We have since gone elsewhere to correct these issues. One other note: If you are working in our house, please flush the toilet when finished. Only common courtesy.
