I was closing the garage door the other day and one of the cables popped out of the pulley system and cause the door to fall off the track on one side and close all crooked. Called Blando first thing in the morning and they were able to get someone out promptly. Ron (Service Tech) showed up and got right to work. He was able to diagnose the issue and got things rolling again + Lubed everything up. Due to the age of the door and track he recommended looking at replacing sooner rather than later. The track system is starting to fall apart in places and the torsion spring system was pretty heavily rusted and corroded. I already had those same thoughts when I called and asked that they send some information along on getting it replaced. My garage floor has some major cracking right in the front that I will need to take care of first but will certainly being coming back to Blando for the actual replacement.

Great timely service. When I came home Friday night, the Garage door wouldn't open. One of the springs was broken. So, started Saturday morning calling around to get that fixed. Though I was able to get a price for around $180 elsewhere for Monday, I couldn't afford to wait. Connie quoted me the most reasonable price I could find to get this fixed over the weekend ($209 incl taxes for both springs). She had Kevin at my place within 30 min and my garage door was fixed in another 30 min. Kevin replaced 4 rollers that were in bad condition as well ($5 each). Definitely will call them first for any future Garage door needs.

I called them early on Jan 22 and they were booked solid but said they would call me if anyone canceled. They did have openings available the next day so I made an appt. The owner came, fixed the power unit of the door -- needed stabilizing -- adjusted the door pressure and lubed all moving parts. And charged only $39.95! I CONTINUE TO BE A VERY SATISFIED, LONG-TERM CUSTOMER.

Called them on Sunday, the day before service, because my garage door opener would not work. Spoke with Connie and she was friendly and very helpful. I asked her if I should replace my garage door opener, because it was installed in 2000 and was thirteen years old. She asked me what brand it was and when I told her it was a Craftsman, she assured me it would last for many more years. Made the appointment for service, and they arrived promply on Monday morning. Fixed a jammed motor in minutes and did a tune up. Very professional and knowledgable! In this day and age, I am finding it hard to find trustworthy and dependable service and when I do, I am impressed. Good service is no longer the norm. Will be calling them again if needed and highly recommend this company!!!

They were fast, on-time, competetively priced, and professional. I have used them two or three times, and am very pleased.

Big, heavy garage door broke a spring. Called Blanda. Excellent phone assistance. Set appointment. They called early that day to inform the service could be performed earlier than set time if it was convenient. It was, so I booked. Prompt arrival, exceeded expectations, and all done at a price less than expected. I recommend to all.

On time, cleaned up well, professional installation.

It went very well. I called another provider and was not impressed with their communication. When I called Blando they were very responsive. They showed up when they said they would. The gear assembly had broken. When I informed Blando Door of the issue, they were able to quote me over the phone. They were time efficient and professional. They even performed a maintenance check while they were at my home.

I called after arriving at home and the garage door only opening up a foot. They arrived within the hour and replaced the main spring on the overhead garage door within the hour. All work was done in a quality and professional manner. I have used Blando in the past and recommend them highly.

Blando Door is always very responsive whenever a problem develops. Have used them for years on 2 houses. They get here as soon as possible & take care of the problem. Very professional and low-priced. I recommend them to everyone.

After making appointment the owner came out to measure and give an estimate and within a reasonable timeframe the installer came out and installed the new door and cleaned up and removed all of the old door and material. I am very satisfied with the work, the price was as advertized and would call them again.

Great. They came to the house the next Business Day and did the work without me being there. They did the work and left me an invoice.

One of the garage door opener cables broke the morning of 9/5/12. Called and spoke to Connie. I asked if it would be possible to send someone to repair the opener today, later in the afternoon. She explained they were extremely busy this week and didn't really have anything available until Friday but could she call me back later. Connie did indeed call back later and said they could be over between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m! Repairman was at the house before 4:00. Repairs were made quickly.

We received an estimate and they had to order the door. Once it came in and was installed they did a fantastic job, came on time, worked quickly and explained how to use the equipment. Very pleased with the beautiful job!

Did a good job of assessing my situation where I wanted a "carriage door" look, but the garage opening was an "A frame" which meant some additional carpentry work was needed to make the "carriage door-look" work. This was not noted by another contractor that is also highly rated by Angie's. This needed modification cost me more, but I believe the end result was worth it because the door looks fantastic and adds definite cosmetic appeal and value to the house. Unfortunately, my Genie garage door opener mysteriously failed as soon as the new door was installed. Can't say that I was happy about that, but they and other contractors say that Genie products have gone "cheap" since they were bought out by Alliance. Blando installed a Liftmaster 8360 - top of the line - and it is INCREDIBLY quiet and smooth! They gave me a really good price on this model which also has a battery backup and installed it. Overall, great work. Still mystified why the Genie opener malfunctioned though.

Overall, I am extremely pleased and when the time comes for further service I will use Blando Door Co. and will not hesitate recommending them to others.

We called Blando Door company to esimate the replacement. Bill was prompt and professional. The original door was also installed by Blando Door 11 years ago. It was still in good shape but we had remodeled our garage , and raised it to accomdate an new SUV in the family, and the old door no longer fit the opening. Bill was able to give us a reasonable quote, and from experience, we know the great work that he does. Again a beautiful job.

Received quotes from a few companies, Blando's quote was all inclusive and did not have several possible upcharges for items like lead paint on the old door. Blando's price matched other quotes but did not have the possibility of additional charges. We requested they call when they wiould be available which they did on the date requested. I met them at the house they reomoved and gauled away old door, install new door and opener, explained the operation and maintenance of the new door.

A spring broke on my very old garage door and they sent over a representative very quickly. He offered to install a new lift system, gave me an estimate and said he could install it within a day or two. He also suggested the possibility of getting a new door, but he wasn't pushy and left it to me to decide before the installation. He also suggested getting a new motor apparatus and showed me how the old one was wearing out. Again, no pressure. I ended up getting replacing the lift system and motor and left the door. The installation took less than a couple of hours and everything has worked great since.

We had called them to come out for a quote to replace our garage motor. They let us know ahead of time what the estimated cost would be if in fact it was the motor that needed to be replaced. They showed up on time and actually got the work completed right then and there. Competitive pricing. I would most certainly hire them again.

Very good experience. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, efficient, and professional. I was choosing between two door types and they made a suggestion based on the style of my house and the size of the door. I made my decision on a Friday afternoon and Connie was quick to call in the order for the door so that it would be delivered with their next shipment. The door came in quickly and they were able to get it installed right away. I wasn't home when they came out, but the new door looked great and they had cleaned up after the work very nicely. After about a week or two we were getting some bounce back on the door and they came out right away after my call and adjusted it. It works well and looks great. I would use Blando again in the future and would recommend them without hesitation. Great company to work with.

We had called them to come for a quote of what the work would cost. Upon receiving the verbal estimate on the spot, we asked them to execute the job. The work was completed swiftly & efficiently as described above.

It went very well overall. They did everything they said they would do. We had used Blando Door Company in the past to adjust the old door and received nothing but excellent service. We didn't think twice about having Blando Door Company replace the wooden door when the time came.
