They did a nice job. I would highly recommend them. Blando Doors it's called. I think they did a terrific job. I just recently had a little problem and they came out fixed it right away at no charge. They were very reasonable. They were right on time.

Wow. Our highest recommendation. As I write this, they're not scheduled to show up for another 15 minutes -- and they're already done. Our 40-year-old garage (2-car) wasn't usable because the wheels were off the rails. We put it off because we saw the prices for new garage doors; we were worried about taking on a bill for $500 or $1000. Once we talked to Blando, everything went smoothly. My schedule changed, and when I had to reschedule the appointment, they found a way. Kevin called to confirm the time, and mentioned he was ahead of schedule, if that would work for us. Boy, did it! He was done in 15 or 20 minutes, and we now have our garage back!! All for under $100! (Kevin didn't even charge us for a small part he replaced. What a guy!)

One of our springs broke on our 18 foot wooden garage door broke. Blando was able to send a technician out quickly. He was knowledgeable, experienced and professional. He installed two heavy duty large springs for the heavy garage door. Door works perfectly. Would definitely hire again.

My very old garage door opener was acting up, and I called Blando to see about getting a new opener installed. They were able to schedule an appointment almost immediately, and for being a member of Angie's List threw in a free punch code opener. They set a 2 hour time window for the technician to arrive, and he came promptly at the start of the window. He hauled away the old opener and cleaned up after himself. I love my new opener!!

My ancient very heavy wooden garage door just couldn't take another winter, especially this winter. The hinges broke, the wood separated, and the tracks were goners. It looked like one of the 'before' pictures on Blando's website. The guys from Blando's came out to take a look and showed me all of the damage, and advised me that it needed to be replaced because there was no way it could be repaired that would guarantee my safety. They were going to come out on Monday Feb 10, but the wind chill factor was way, way below zero and the materials wouldn't adhere or work properly. Personally I was concerned about them freezing their hands off but they never mentioned that. They would come back as soon as the temperature was warm enough for the materials to work properly. It was still incredibly cold out but they came back on Wednesday while I was at work. When I got home I had a beautiful new garage door. The only remnant of their work was the new door. They had cleaned up everything! There was no evidence they'd even been there. It was awesome! Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional beginning with my phone call where I reported my broken garage door nightmare to the first visit to see what the problem was all the way through to completion of the project. What an incredible company, everyone was wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend them.. and no, I'm not related to anyone there. :) It's just rare when the first company that one calls is the one that comes out and does everything perfectly, and they are friendly and pleasant as well. I called at 8:15 AM and had a service man at my home within an hour and a half. The work took about 45 minutes. We've had no issues since then, nor do we anticipate any. It was a positive experience, very professional and knowledgeable. I'd recommend this service provider to anyone in a pinch...they will get the job done!

Product was installed at stated price with in time period that was scheduled. Gentleman was kind & courteous, answered questions along the way and cleaned up after job. I have had this company for many years and in the past they have also installed my aluminum garage door. estimate was the price in the end. I have referred this company to my neighbors & friends.

.I noticed a metal cable dangling from the bottom of the garage door as it went up and down and became concerned it was dangerous, so called to have someone come look at it. I presumed I might need a new garage door, as this one is probably over 30 years old and not in great shape. I was able to get an appointment very quickly, for a time I wasn't working. He looked it over and told me I didn't need to buy a new door, that this one would last a few more years. He showed me how he could repair the cable, tighten things up and oil the moving parts. He also let me know that replacing the door would be even more expensive than normal because my garage opening is smaller than the smallest standard size, and a door would need to be special-ordered. He was extremely honest and helpful.

Purchased new door as gift for family member who had just purchased new home. Connie Blando did great job with communicating between all parties involved. Door installation went well. Job site cleaned up leaving no sign that anyone had been there, other than having brand new garage door. Have used company in past for own garage door needs and will definitely call for any future needs.

I called provider at 10:50 am on 10/28/13 to inquire about service. Provider was at my door by 11:30 am greeting me by my first name. Sal was extremely friendly and professional. Service was completed and paid for by 12 noon. This service was amazing.

Called Blando early on a Monday after an electrical storm the previous Friday rendered our electric garage door opener useless. I was told the service person would be at my house between 9AM and 11AM. Service person Jason arrived about 9:15AM and determined the circuit board had been burned out from a lightning strike. He didn't have the part with him but said he would return in the afternoon after completed his next service call. Jason called back about 1PM to say he was on his way and replaced the circuit board for the opener and recalibrated the openers and replaced one battery in one of the openers. All work completed before 2PM on the same day that I called for service! Cost of new circuit board and installation = $160, cost of new battery for opener = $3. I don't know if the price is comparable to other companies, but the promptness of service was outstanding. Everyone I dealt with through Blando was fantastic. Can't recommend them enough.

I parked the car in the garage Saturday p.m. & when the door went down, I heard a loud thud! The door Spring had snapped! We saw an ad in a community free-paper & I checked as to whether Blando Door Co. was on Angie's List; and since they were, we felt confident in calling this company. We left message that evening, and the next morning (Sunday) they called, and said "Bill" could come out that morning. He arrived at the time we were told. He removed the old & installed\ new garage door Torsion Springs; lubricated all moving parts; tunedup door & opener, and even polished up our old door opener pad! Plus he will drop-off a new cover (it covers the light) for our old door opener. He appeared confident in his task--checking & rechecking to make certain everything worked correctly. He was friendly, and gave us hints as to how to keep chipmucnks from entering our garage * from chewing on the rubber strip on the garage door bottom. We are pleased with his work, and that he came out on Sunday, especially since the car was 'stuck' in the garage. Door works well & is much quieter also!

We thought the garage door opener needed replacing. Mr Blando found that the opener was fine and wires needed to be reconfigured. He replaced weather striping. He also adjusted the garage door spring and pullies.

I called Blando Door and left a message. Connie called back within 15 minutes and had someone out to our garage to fix it that day! She was very professional and polite. We didn't even have to rearrange our work schedule to show up at the house; they just went right out there for us and sent us the invoice in the mail. The company also called us as a follow up that afternoon to let us know what the problem was and how they fixed it. They were polite, prompt, and affordable. I've never had anyone respond so quickly and efficiently. We would definitely use them again!

I called on Friday and was able to quickly get an appointment that worked for my schedule. Bill came out and adjusted my vintage garage door opener, and gave me hints on how to replace the rubber strip at the bottom. I thought the price was quite reasonable, and really appreciated how quickly they came out. I'm completely happy with this service provider!

Our old, wood garage door was getting slower and slower to open and close. The springs were also starting to show a lot of wear. I called and spoke to a very polite lady, who had a gentleman out the next day to give an estimate to replace it. He was on time, very personable and knew exactly what style (and color) door would be the most effective for our replacement. The estimate was under what I had expected the replacement to cost. The repair was scheduled for Wednesday morning and the technician was on time and very nice. He had the entire door replaced, with the old one hauled away, and the garage swept up of debris in around 2.5 hours. All three employees I worked with were very professional and friendly, and I would definitely recommend this company again for any estimate, service/repair or replacements!

The service technician was prompt for the scheduled appointment and quickly diagnosed the problem. The solution was to adjust the pulley cables. As an additional service the technician lubricated the hinges and ball bearings.
