I cannot say enough about how happy I am with choosing Blando Door Company. The estimate that Bill Blando wrote listed 3 types of steel doors and the cost of replacing the wood trim. He explained the benefits of each door. There was no high sales pressure to pick the most expensive door which I truly appreciated.. After deciding on which door I wanted, we set up an installation date. The installer Kevin arrived on time with everything he needed to install the new door and new wood framing. He did a fantastic job. The area was totally cleaned up when he was finished. Kevin is wonderful representative of the Blando Door Company.

Came in the morning in attempt to replace the gears. When that couldn't be done, left to get more parts and came back to finish. Didn't install the trip lights, but when I checked with the office about it, there was someone out with in an hour to complete it. I have used their service in the past and am still pleased with their service.

Overall, as above, went great, couldn't ask for quicker service, garage door hasn't worked this well in a long time, Thank-You to Russ!

Heard a big boom on Monday night in garage. Didn;t see anything wrong. Door would not open on tuesday morning right away but after about 6 times it did go up. Got home from work and it would not go up. My husband saw that it was a spring that had broken. I call Blando Tuesday night around 5:45 and left a message. Connie called me at 7:30 on Wednesday and we set up an appt. for that day between 2-4. Jason showed up around 2:30, called before he came and went to work on replacing the springs. Was done in about an hour. He was very professional and friendly and adjusted the garage door opener and nailed the rubber on the bottom of the door even though that wasn't in the estimate. He even took his shoes off when I asked him to come in so I could pay him. It was a great experience from start to finish. I said we were looking to replace the garage doors and he had brochures to give me so I could take a look at some options. Never thought I could get someone to come out right before New Years. I would hire them in a heartbeat and will recommend to everyone I know.

Great. They came when they said they would, assessed the situation, did just what was needed, with advice on options, and cleaned up afterward. After approx 1 hour I had my garage door back.

They did a great job for a great price. There was nothing I disliked. It was a very nice man that came over.

I had tried to adjust the garage door tracks and it eventually got to be comically bad. I called Blando the next day and they were able to send some one that day to get the door back into working order. The technician's name was Jason and in an hour and half he was able to get the door working better than it ever has since we've been in our house. I was very pleased with the work he did. I forgot to tell him that we had a switch inside the house that operated the door so he accidentally disconnected it (nothing he did wrong, I just forgot to mention it), but he was was willing to talk me through reconnecting the wires over the phone. Overall I was very pleased with the work Jason did and I recommend Blando to anyone.

We love them. We would use them for anything that we could. They are fantastic. They are extremely efficient and very customer service oriented. They are very practical, cost effective, and resourceful. They won't tell you to replace something. They figured out a lot of creative ways to fix things for us so we didn't have to replace them. I was very grateful for that. We would use them again in the future.

Great! I called Blondo first thing in the morning and they said they could have someone out that afternoon. Another guy called back within a half hour and said they could have an employee there within the hour. The work was finished quickly and he even tightened up the bolts to make my door a lot less squeaky. Super easy to deal with and friendly.

Entire process went very well. Estimator was punctual, personable, listened to what I wanted, showed me numerous photos and samples and even called in to the office to get additional information to make sure I had all available info before making my decision. By the way, the estimate was done on a Saturday, and his boss called him back within approximately 5 minutes. Existing door was non-standard size and probably covered in lead paint (he could tell from the manufacturer label on door). Ordered new door, which arrived on time. Installer arrived on time, work was completed quickly. He even put a new plug on the cord coming out of the old opener, which I had not had time to do before he arrived. In all, a very positive experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Blando Door or use them in the future,

Very positive experience. Arrived at day and time promised to provide estimate and again for installation. Work performed in a very quickly and in a professional manner. Work area left in clean and orderly with all installation mess removed.

They were very good. The job went well. They were punctual and responsive. We got the estimate and the final price was according to what they said it would be. We didn’t have any complaints about them. We would hire them again.

Excellent experience. It took about 40 minutes from start to finish. The service person was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The last time around, they came out and fixed a fault with the doors that was no fault of their own - it appeared to be a manufacturing fault. They just did a great job. We just paid the service charge. When they put in our garage doors, they did a wonderful job, and that was worth several thousand dollars including two remotes and everything. They were just great. They gave us fast service. We called, and they were here the next day, if not sooner, depending on when we called. They cleaned up well. They were very professional and really very nice to deal with. There are other service providers I’ve dealt with that I wouldn’t feel that way. I would recommend them without any hesitation. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

I called Blando after looking through Angie's List. I called and told them I wanted both springs replaced. I got an estimate of $195.00 with a discount for being a member of Angie's List and a time window of 11 am to 1 pm. The two men showed at 11 am got to work and were done in about 30 minutes. That is when it was discovered that the drive gear was stripped and would cost an extra $125.00. Which I thought was reasonable as it was one unit with a mounting bracket, shaft, metal chain gear and nylon drive gear. Within an hour the unit was replaced, the chain adjusted, the door travel adjusted, and the wheels and track were lubricated. I found them quick, accurate and professional. I was very pleased with their work.

Very pleased with our service. Blando came out the day we called for an estimate and installed the door within the week. Estimate was best we got and the service was excellent.

We received a call from one of our tenant's that one of the springs on the garage door had snapped and the door would not open. Upon inspection the cable that attaches the spring to the garage door had snapped. We called Blando the following morning and within a two hour window they had their technician at our house replacing the cable. It took less than 30 minutes to repair and the technician made a couple of adjustments to the garage door opener as well. We were very satisfied with the level of service we received and would not hesitate to use them again.

Overall it was a decent job. I know owner (done a few projected for me) and hes a true professional. But the installers (not the owner) did only a fair install. They had to come back out to re-support one of the ceiling hangers supporting the door track. They left junk (screws, bolts, nuts and door boxes and packing material behind that i had to clean up. Finally the owner came out a second time to make some necessary adjustment. On that trip the owner left the door operating in the proper condition that it should have been the first time.

Same day service, arrived at scheduled time, friendly and professional service. Quality work. Inspected and lubed all moving parts did not limit to just spring replacement.

We had a problem with our garage door and called Blando. They came out the next day and found a spring had broken. He said he could repair the spring but because the door was so old the other spring could also break. The door was over 40 years old so we decided to replace the entire door. He came out the next day and in a few hours had installed the new door and hauled away the old one. He was very professional and answered any questions we had.

Estimate was fast and accurate. The work was completed quickly. However, the work site was not cleaned up well. There was grease and caulk left on the driveway, as well as some hardware that was not needed. The new weather seal was not installed neatly. I called to discuss it, and they came out to inspect, but in the end, we were not able to arrange a mutually agreeable time and I wound up just cleaning things up myself. I said that I would use them in the future, as the job itself was done well, but I would be more careful to watch for the cleanup at the end.

One of the springs on the garage door broke, leaving the garage opener unable to open the door on its own. I called Blando that afternoon and they were able to schedule someone for the next day, They were even able to accommodate my request for an earlier appointment. The technician came out exactly when scheduled and got to work. The removal and replacement of the springs was very quick. After the springs were replaced, he tightened some loose bolts, oiled the springs, the door panel hinges and the rollers. The work was completed in about half and hour and cost exactly what I was quoted.

They came first thing the morning after I called. It was fixed quickly and professionally.

They were able to come the day I called and were good about working around my work schedule. I stuck around while he did the work and learned a lot from him. I have a wood door and appreciated that he didn't try to sell me a new door, or even a new garage door opener. He said that they were both in good condition.
