Batzner Pest Control

From initial contact thru Angie's List to first service, we found the experience to be professional. Following the scheduling of the initial appt, we received a confirmation email with the name and photo of the control-professional visiting our home. He spent about 2 hours mediating the know and unknown pest issues and setting of bait traps. He also advised on what to expect and what we could do to manage future problems. Great professionalism at every touch-point of this service experience.

didn't listen to my request. charged for a service I didn't want or get. trying to get them to stop charging my credit card but have no luck.

The exterminator, Scott, was knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything to my dad, who is 83. Scott did a through job of going through the house and sealing 6 points of entry that were open for mice. He walked through the contract and openly said for my dad to call the number at anytime if he sees anything or has concerns of pest or rodents on the premises. For the annual cost Scott will be doing 4 onsite inspections/treatments, plus we can call at anytime. Scott himself was great to work with and connected well with my dad.

Service went great. They sent Scott over right away. He set a trap, gave me his work cell number incase we captured any. After 2 nights he captured the 2 adult raccoons, then had nothing until Friday night, 2 baby raccoons came out, though he was at his daughters concert he came out after and got the 2 babies. Late Sunday night the other 3 babies came out and first thing Monday morning he came and captured them. Scott was very friendly and professional. I appreciate all the work and the late night to make sure he had gotten the raccoons out of our attic.

It went very well. My biggest complaint was that my windows all need to be cleaned from spray. Also, accessing the side of the house, knocked almost all my roses off the bush :( I understand that they have to get behind the bushes --- but I don't think any attention was paid to hurting my flowers.

The worker told me ways to decrease the likelihood of attracting other unwanted pests. They will be returning quarterly to spray and check the bait stations. I decided to go with this company because of their practice, which are pet friendly. They really are interested in the safety of everyone in the household (at least the ones that are supposed to be there).

What they did worked and within a week we don't see it anymore and I would give them two thumbs up. I thought they were good. We signed for the annual contract with them.

Scott is our Batzner agent and he always does an outstanding job. He is so professional and knowledgeable. As he enter our house he puts on booties over his shoes which shows us how much he and the company care about our property. He always fully explains everything to us and makes sure we not only understand but are fully covered. We really appreciate his work.

We pay a fixed price a month. The guys are very professional and they have a very good customer service. They always respond on the phone and they always come on time. They do their job to perfection. They are the best.

I have been using them I guess probably 10 years. They have really good customer service and if you ever have any problems that come up during the year, I mean when you have a service contract they have somebody come out right away and take care of it. You don't pay extra for that. They customize the way and treat it when appropriate. They are very professional. Very knowledgeable. They know their business. Everyone that comes out they are like certified pest specialists. They give themselves windows of times, they always show up in the window.

I noticed 5 or 6 wasps inside my window on a cold early winter day. I called Batzner to help figure out where they were coming from. They wanted me to sign up for their quarterly pest control maintenance program, which I didn't want or need. I preferred to focus on the problem at hand. This one time service cost $200 for less than 1 hour of work. The individual who came to the house was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem. Wasps had entered the attic from one of the side-grills on the house. Batzner went into the attic and removed/sprayed the nests to remedy the existing problem. They did nothing to prevent the problem in the future. Instead, they told me that my husband or a "handyman" would have to climb back into the attic with a screen and staple gun to fix the problem. It seems to me that for $200, Batzner could have performed that service for me. Those seem like easy and inexpensive items for them to have in their trucks. So, for $200, I got a partial treatment and was told to hire somebody else to finish the job. That's poor customer service, and therefore, I would not recommend them.

GREAT! Kris Walker is my rep from Batzner. Awesome guy, my dog loves him. Very professional and down to business. I felt comfortable with him and was thrilled with the detailed report he emailed me...before he left the driveway! The mouse issue is decreasing fast, he located a new spot and is determined. We live by the woods so I told him a "reduction" would be okay and he laughed and said, "well, we shoot a bit higher than "reduction". Haha,

The service is top notch. The staff is very good. They left the area clean. They fixed the problem in one visit.

They were great. If you have any problems with any pest, you can call them at any time and they'll always come. I would recommend them. All their stuff were very good. They would call before they would come. They're very professional. They would wear stuff on their feet when they come in. They're just very nice.

What he did was real good. The guy was nice and professional,and he explained everything. My husband mainly dealt with him. We signed up with a yearly long contract with them, so they come out quarterly. He was here for a long time, and he went over everything with my husband. My husband was very happy with him. He was very thorough, they walked around the house, and looked for problems, and he was very good. He was on time, and he was professional.

I have no complaints, they are on time and professional and call before they get here.

It was a great, from the time I requested service until after it was done. Shirley was the customer service rep I spoke to the first time scheduling my initial visit and she was fantastic. She gave me good information over the phone, explained exactly what the technician would be doing when he arrived at my house. She then sent me an email with the name and picture of the tech that would be coming to my house. When the tech arrived, he asked me a couple questions about the problems I was having, listening intently. Then he gave thorough explanations of where I may be having critters from the outside coming into my home. He walked around the house and pointed out where there were some cracks and holes he had to fill. He then told me what he was going to do in the basement and around the perimeter of my house. All in all a very pleasant experience. I also had to call Batzner for a follow-up visit prior to my quarterly visit. Again, customer service was excellent from beginning to end. Jason was great in explaining why I could be having the issue I was having. All in all, I was very satisfied with the work. Have already recommended them two a couple of friends, who also has used Batzner and were happy as well. Great job!!

They are professional and thorough. It was good. They got back to me and answered my questions on the phone.

I guess they're okay. Batzner did a fine job. I am completely satisfied with the person I worked with and the service, very very good. He was very nice. He was very talkative. I went on and checked out reviews on them through various venues not just through Angie's List and I knew that they did small animals and they also do racoons and a few people I noticed thought that they were a little expensive and I think they're probably were but I got what I needed to have, no plus and no minus. All the people I dealt with on the phone, and on a Saturday, they were supposed to get somebody else because the guy that had been coming didn't come on Saturday. When they couldn't work that out, because he was really close to me, he came over anyway. He came over on his own and took care of it. The other company came on Monday to fix the house. For what he did, the quality was fine. He was very very responsive and I got a hold right away of someone on the phone and I told them what my problem was and they were right there, answered my questions. He was very very much within a few minutes knowing that he was driving from another place. They give you a time space of when they will be there and it was between 12 to 5 but he would always call me and tell me that it was more likely he would call when he was on his way. He was also adjustable. There was one day I needed an extra hour for something, and he said, "Okay, we'll make the time another hour so you can do what you have to do." They were very accommodating at that time. He showed up on the day and he showed up within the time frame and they even adjusted that one day for me. The guy was very good. The man was very nice. He went up and he did his job. He was very clear to what he was going to do and in what way he would put the traps but he was also very talkative and we conversed about number of things but I would say he was very professional in his job.

It seems to work out fine. We had them at the house where we lived before too. We had tried a couple of other ones that we did not like. We have it set up and if there's any problems in between they come and there is no additional charge for that. The pricing is fair. I think they're priced right. The quality is excellent. They're right on top of things and it never takes that long for them to come. They come when they say they will or they'll call when they're on the way or whatever. I don't have anything negative to say about them. They're professional and I've recommended them to other people too and they've been happy with them too.

Batzner assigns a technician to your home, so you always schedule the same person. It's great service to have the same person every-time as they have history with your issues. Technicians are always professional and thorough, and provide a detailed report on where applications are applied and where the homeowner may need to make improvements for preventing bugs. They are mindful of pets, even though their application is pet friendly. We have nearly eliminated any creepy crawlies inside and around the outdoor perimeter of the house. I will always use their service, no matter where I live, because it's important to me not to have any creepy crawlies. If we see anything in-between quarterly applications, like wasps or more-than-normal-activity, they are happy to schedule another application within a week.

Called Batzner 2.5 weeks ago about solving my mouse problem. They sent a tech, Kevin, out the next day. After the phone call, I received an e-mail with names and photos of the person I spoke with and Kevin. Great idea so I would recognize him when he came. Kevin was prompt and thorough. I was only concerned about the mice, but the service I signed up for included pest control. Kevin found a big nest of ground hornets which he took care of. He plugged holes where the mice may have been getting in and left bait traps in the basement and promised a follow up visit in 3 weeks. The next day, we found 4 dead mice outside. No more mice until 2 nights ago. I called Batzner yesterday (a few days before the 3 wks), Kevin came back today, checked the traps, found a few more entry possibilities which he filled. Of course, he couldn't guarantee this will be the end of it, but he promised he would keep coming back until the mice were gone. Super service!

Paul from customer service and Josh, a field tech, were pronominal. I really only needed a one time treatment but I decided to sign up for the B.A.N. program due to the benefits and quality of service. Very well run company with amazing people.

The technician was polite, efficient and explained everything very clearly - the process & charges. My first reaction was that the program was rather pricey but with it spread out over a year, quarterly visits & free call backs at any time I thought it was worth it. I would recommend this company to others. I will not rate "Quality" until I see how the treatment, etc. works. I will update this review in a few months.

As they say, "buyer beware". I can't say that I would agree with their logic here. Batzner. Why would someone in their sane mind, pay $250.00 for a bedbug trained dog IF you may NOT have a bedbug problem to begin with? And, IF you might have this issue, look out! It's going to be very costly to rid of this one. Anyway, this process of elimination would be very expensive in my mind. One must do their homework, shopping around and due diligence. Even with them on Angie's List! A rated. I'm NOT saying that Batzner isn't any good but I'd question their approach in assessing specific issues.
